4. Champion Tournament Pt. 1

(You all fucking blew UP last chapter, even getting me 4 power stones and 41 collections on my first day! So, lets make a deal. This will be the only bonus chapter for this week. BUT! If we get to, lets say 20 power stones by next week I'll release 2 bonus chapters alongside the regular chapter)

It's been 5 years since Yggdrasil was released. Honestly? I've been top of the leaderboard the entire time, Touch-san has been gaining though, with him currently in 5th place. With my character now at Level 150 I can say for certainty that unless the World Disaster attacks me, I wouldn't lose in 1v1 combat, and that's without my summons. Nine's Own Goal was also disbanded, and in its place came Ainz Ooal Gown, led by Momon-san, we took over Nazarick just last month but I've yet to make my own NPC though I do have my own floor that's split into a few different parts.

I also uploaded GHOST into Sheath as well as giving him the knowledge of SPECTRE. I also shared GHOST and SPECTRE to my guildmates.

(AN: Who should come to the New World? Should it just be Alastor; Momon and Alastor; or Momon, Touch, Pero, Buku and Alastor. They are the only ones who I'd bring as I know their characters the best.)

This week is the World Champion Tournament where 9 champions will be chosen. Touch-san is competing for the spot of Alfheim champion. I'm personally competing for the Niflheim championship. Thankfully the championships take place on different days so we can watch each other. Today, is the Alfheim championship, me and the entire guild of Ainz Ooal Gown are here, rooting for Touch-san. Thankfully, due to the event restrictions, nobody is able to attack us. Not that they'd get very far due to me being here, alongside me are Momon-san, Pero-san, and Buku-chan who are all level 120, as they've all gotten to use a World Item that gives them an extra 20 levels, so they're all stronger than their counterparts thanks to my influence. Touch-san has also used this item so he's likely to have an easy time with this tournament.

Me and Buku decided to do something special since today is possibly Touch-sans greatest moment in Yggdrasil outside of. Almost as soon as Buku found out that I'm actually a Trap both in game and in real life, she wanted to meet. So, Momon, Touch, Pero, Buku and me all met up at a park, this was 3 years ago. They were surprised that the strongest player in the guild was only 18 while Touch-san was 29. Momon and Pero were 22 and 23 respectively while Buku was 25.

(AN: I don't think it ever states how old they actually were so just accept this)

Anyways, since today was so special I decided to dress my character up. I was wearing a skirt that was similar to the one I was wearing before I died with thigh high socks and my combat boots. On my torso I was wearing a sleeveless crop top that showed my stomach and had Touch Me's name alongside his avatar's head underneath a purple hoodie. In my hand were 2 black pompoms with dark blue highlights. I also didn't have my mask on, which allowed my hair to fall down to my shoulders.

To list everyone's reaction:

Momon-san was jaw dropped.

Pero-san was crying, I think I broke him.

Touch-san was speechless.

And Buku-chan was squealing and kept hugging me with her avatar.

Later that night we were also going to meet at a late night cafe near the park we originally met at, no matter if Touch-san wins or loses since my tournament wasn't for 3 days I didn't need to get lots of sleep. Even then, CAFFEINE IS KING!

Also, I was definitely wearing this to the cafe, just without the pompoms and I'm putting on my normal Code Vein shirt.

(AN: God I wish I was a Trap just so I could pull this off. Sadly I'm not.)

Buku-chan and I were the "cheerleaders" of this as none the others either didn't want to throw away their pride, or we're too embarrassed. Buku, who finally got a doppelring, was dressed in a matching outfit to mine. Except her character was 5'10 to mine's 5'6, she also looked like an adult version of Aura and Mare. We've been practicing this cheer for the past 3 days and we've got it spot on I think.

Finally it was Touch-sans turn so me and Buku-chan started our cheer.

"Who's our knight in silver armor! Touch Me! Touch Me! Saving us and doused in flowers! Touch Me! Touch Me! Who will bring us V I C T O R Y! Touch Me! Touch Me!"

Buku-chan and I kept chanting this as we were dancing, on the VICTORY Buku-chan picked me up and launched me high in the air where I did a few spins and flips before landing on my feet on top of Buku-chan's shoulders in a double V! Barely 3 chants later and Touch Me's fight was over as he swung his sword and bisected his opponent. Let get a rewind of that shall we?

Touch Me's POV

(AN: Don't expect these too often)

I appeared in the arena to the sudden cheers of Alastor-kun and Buku-san. If I hadn't met Alastor-kun in real life, I'd probably think he was playing a game with all of us and was, in fact, a chick. I still remember the day that we met. We were all waiting for Alastor-san to show up. Low and behold when he did, in all his… trapiness. Seriously he was dressed in a black shirt that showed his midriff and a skirt that looks exactly like the one he's wearing now as well as a purple hoodie, he REALLY likes purple hoodies doesn't he? Granted his face was half-covered by the pollution mask that people have to wear if they want to go outside, but we could see his light golden eyes that seemed to glow slightly and his hair that went down to just below his shoulders. Honestly his frame and build were all really similar to that of his characters, just change the eyes and hair and switch out the mask and viola. I'd think we met Alastor-kun in Yggdrasil instead.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the horn, signifying that the match was starting. Due to this being the finals, matches like this was the only match playing for Alfheim, meaning a lot of players were in the stands, watching us. My opponent and I kept watching each other warily, trying to see who would make the first move. My opponent was a human male of tanned skin and he had on armor that looked like furs and leathers. I knew it was of decent quality, but I wasn't sure how good. Sometimes I wish I had Alastor-kun's ability to know what something is at a glance. In his right hand was a light blue axe.

Seeing the light blue I understood that it was a frost-type weapon, something I'm weak to due to my Insect race. From the rants by Alastor-kun I remember, frost-types are near bullshit as they cause the 'Freeze' status in 3 hits and power attacks launch an ice slash. Though they are nowhere near as buillshit as Alastor-kun's Hollow Lost. He was able to kick my ass even in the Cane form, which has the weakest physical damage of it's forms. In his left hand was a dark brown buckler-type shield. The material definitely wasn't wood.

'I think that's an earth-type shield. Those tend to grant high defense in exchange for being a lot heavier. I'd have to guess he's a Berserker class.' as if to confirm my thought he utilizes a Berserker class skill "War Cry" which stuns me for 3 seconds before instantly charging me. He swings down at my head but I'm able to dodge out of the way, making him miss my an inch before rolling back up and swinging my sword towards his weapon arm.

He dodges back, lifting his shield arm to block the blow, only to widen his eyes in surprise when my sword cuts through it like butter. It didn't cut all the way through, but it's more than enough to make him back up, putting as much distance between us as possible.

'I'll have to thank Alastor-kun later. His Rune Carving and Blacksmithing lead to a really dangerous combo. Not to mention the unique skill he got for maxing out both of them. What did he say it was again? Oh right, Principal Enchanting. If I remember correctly, he gave this sword the Principal 'Arondight'.' - I end my train of thought just in time to see the man charging at me again, his shield on his hip and his axe in both hands as he brings it down in another overhead strike. Instead of dodging like last time I angle my shield, causing his axe to glance off to the side as he stumbles forward due to his momentum. He tries to regain his footing too late though, as his head is already flying through the air as I put my sword on my hip. The horn blows again, signaling the end of this match, as above the arena it shows my name alongside the killing blow.

I look towards my friends from Ainz Ooal Gown as cheering erupts from them. Deafening out everything else as they chant my name.

Ainz Ooal Gown: "TOUCH ME, TOUCH ME, TOUCH ME, TOUCH ME!"

(AN: Arondight is a sword from the Arthurian legends, it was Lancelot's sword. It does have an anime counterpart the Type Moon animes, which one specifically, I'm not sure. If you want more information look it up, you'll probably see WHY I chose to have Alastor give this Principal to Touch Me's sword.)
