The sky thundered; it was pouring cats and dogs. They were already as if drenched mice, slouching, putting their hands inside their coat pockets, walking to the training hall that was especial for Commander Chen's Aligner team.
Someone with a black umbrella passed by, looking at them. It couldn't make difference! He was also as drench as them.
The court zone was in the highlands and in the north of Las Vita, which was the coldest part. The baronial buildings were there from the ancient era, were made all the same by the order of Karmalin's father and then he bequeathed his legacy to grow the Aligners in the heart of IC.
The Immortality Lands of Karmalin began from Del Vita's north, which was the southern city of Las Vita province. The lands were all forests and fertile meadows, high mountains, Lakes, large gorges, and the end of the Vita River that was joining the Middle Sea on the west of the province.
The lands had been expanding, containing half of Lake Vita in the middle until reaching Rose Vita that was the northern city and the coldest. From overheads, it was as if a fay Lady laying on the ground, naked, making her fine curvy body enjoy the sun.
"Would he accept me?" Enammer stated.
"Seems we must let the rain wash out our points of pride here under this roaring sky and plead him to do so!" Delun said.
"The noises that are coming out of here isn't a proper thing!" Bo learned.
They stopped behind the door that a board hung. The note on it had a big visible font saying, "Forget which race you are and step inside this place; we are all Vita settlers."
"Should we go inside? It is already too early." Delun asked.
"Do we have any other choice? I am like a tamed cat only for my mom! Let them roar at us so we would do louder!" Enammer said.
"Both of you are the same."
Pushing the door, they went inside. A lash of heat and heavy stink of sweat slapped them, made them quake.
"Hey, roaring cats! How long can you mewl?" The Commander mocked. He was near the door, folding his hand to his chest.
His burned wheaten upper body was bare and hairless in that human shape. If it wasn't for his yellow eyes and long thick fangs, they wouldn't believe that he was a werewolf but a Ring fighter masculine human.
Enammer gaped, thought that now his chance was zero out of a million! Moreover, this man wasn't the sort that even millions of Derk or gold coins could buy.
"Sir! We are at your service." Bo said.
"Are you?" He walked forward where the crowd gathered around a huge circular mat. And the uproar was saying that some people were fighting inside that arena.
On the left side, there were many bodybuilding machines. This place was unlike the arena in the backyard of the Academy. Here all Aligners were big-sized and opposite other teams that were slender and used to spend their time under Fay's pieces of training, only relaying their natural skills and shapeshifting!
On the right side, there was a pool that was separated from this place with glassy walls.
"I thought humans' sports are forbidden here!" Bo blurted.
"Not forbidden, but had been being ignored." Elan said, appearing behind them.
"So, you are a Vampire! But your eyes aren't blue or red!" Delun said.
"Yes, I am the rare one with black eyes." His whole eyes went as black as coal and scarier than the rest were.
The crowd opened a pathway for their commander and those new arrivals. There was a vampire and a werewolf on the mat that seemed to be white once upon a time; their blood changed the color of it. It was as slippery as dolphin's skin and their nails and paws already left traces, wimbled the mat, releasing the sponge inside it.
It was obvious that neither of them intended to give up. Both bounced in the air, baring nails, and paws to hit each other.
"Enough!" Commander's strong voice thundered.
They passed by each other in the air and sat on the mat. The crowd's cheer shut down.
"Bring a chair!" He added and someone at the last line of the circle crept back to bring one. He turned to Elan and added, "Did your coin drop?"
He sneered and went to the information desk and brought a small bag with him.
"Make him sit, Zach!"
He was another aligner who they saw the previous night. Enammer was shocked and yet he didn't get a chance to ask for joining them, already was about to change his mind! He brushed his fingers to his white hair and his light blue eyes rolled on Bo. Many questions were screaming behind those glorious faces.
The Aligner who brought the chair, Zach and another one took hold of Delun's arm and dragged him to the chair.
"What's wrong sir?" Bo said, seizing forward to stop them, they pushed him back, hitting his knees making him kneel.
Enammer went to help Bo but two other ones did the same move with him. Pushing their head down.
"Chillax, little roaring cats! We just want to test you." Commander said.
Elan now was beside him, delivering him the bag. He took out a shaver machine. Bo glanced at it blankly; wouldn't they shave Delun's head, would they?
"Are you about to shave my head? Why making it so odd! I would do it gladly." Delun was as cool as cucumber.
"Nope! Not your head."
Commander bent in front of Enammer saying, "You beg to be one of us, don't you?"
"Yes, sir!" he doubted now.
"Well, take this! Shave that five o'clock damn shadow, it has been turning my stomach since last night." He pointed to Delun's thin beard.
Everyone cheered as he grabbed the shaver eagerly. The aligners let go of him, got to his feet. In this case, he couldn't have been more agreed.
That was disgusting; Bo and Enammer warned him that they might shave it when he fell asleep. But every time he refused, said that, this was the poster of him becoming a man. However, indeed it was as if half grew grasses in poor meadows of Hekhamen near the deserts that stretched and kissed Soilita country.
