Its parents were high-ranking entities, and the power that coursed through its veins was unparalleled. But something went wrong. The souls of the nephala's parents were destroyed, leaving the hybrid adrift in a world that could not comprehend its power. For thousands of years, it trained and honed its skills, seeking a way to avenge its parents and prove its worth. Finally, after two millennia of preparation, the nephala struck. It easily defeated the Demon Lord, but the Divine Deity proved to be a formidable foe. So, instead, the nephala created a subspace in which to seal the entire angel race and the Divine Deity, forever cutting them off from the rest of the world. After that, it cast a spell on its body using time magic, one of its ultimate attributes, to sleep for exactly two million years. But when it awakened, the world had changed: a strange phenomenon called evolution occur, capable of altering a being's genetic structure, and new magic appeared... Prologue

During the age of God and angels, a forbidden love bloomed between the Primaeval demon Noir and Seraph Oriphiel. They knew they had to keep their love a secret as it was considered taboo among their races. But love cannot be contained, and their love for each other grew stronger with each passing day. However, their secret was soon discovered by the Divine Deity and Demon Lord Xalreth. The news of their relationship spread like wildfire, and chaos erupted among the different races.

The Divine Deity and Demon Lord Xalreth were furious, and they gave the order to execute the two lovebirds on the spot. The entire world held its breath, waiting for the execution. But something unexpected happened. The two lovebirds were able to evade the chase and went into hiding. The Divine Deity and Demon Lord Xalreth were enraged and ordered their armies to find them. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, yet the lovebirds remained in hiding. Their love for each other had given them the strength to keep going, to keep fighting for their right to love each other freely. Their love was unbreakable, and they knew that they would never give up on each other.

They settled in a secluded and idyllic place, where they lived in peace and quiet. During their time there, they welcomed a child into their world, but this was no ordinary child. This child had ten attributes of magic, a feat that was unheard of among mortals as there were only eight attributes: flame, water, ice, lightning, earth, wind, light, and dark.

When the child was born, he emitted a chaotic and destructive aura that disrupted the natural order, yet he also had a harmonious and pleasant aura that seemed to balance out the chaos. This child was a paradox, and thanks to his new existence, the Divine Deity and Demon Lord Xalreth were able to locate the eloping couple. They knew that they had to act fast before the child's power spiralled out of control, so they captured the couple, killed them, and crushed their souls.

But the whereabouts of the nephala were unknown.

Two thousand years had passed since then, and the child had mastered all his attributes, including the two ultimate attributes.

The nephala decided to exact its revenge. It easily killed the Demon Lord and set its sights on an even greater target: the Divine Deity. But the Divine Deity was not so easily defeated. The nephala found it hard to even get close to this being of pure light and goodness. So, the nephala came up with a plan. It decided to seal the entire angel race and the Divine Deity in another subspace, which was later to be known as "Heaven." This would serve as a temporary solution.

But even as the nephala revelled in its victory, something strange began to happen. Unbeknownst to it, the very fabric of the universe (nature) had long since begun to warp and twist, and it was clear that all was not as it seemed...

The nephala looked upon the world and saw the scattered continents and islands. He pondered why they were separated and what would happen if they were all brought together. With a flick of his wrist, the nephala summoned his magic power (mana), and a powerful torrent of water and earth magic surged from his fingertips.

The very continents began to move together, grinding against each other like tectonic plates. The sea churned and boiled as islands shifted and collided. It was an awe-inspiring sight, and all of creation trembled under the might of the nephala's magic.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the continents had come together, and the world was one. However, the nephala's work was far from done. He was not content with simply creating a single continent. He wanted to create a world that was both beautiful and diverse. And so, he created a few islands where creatures such as dragons and merfolk could live in seclusion and peace.

Once he had connected all the continents and created the perfect world, the nephala used one of his ultimate magic: time magic. He cast a spell on his own body that would cause him to sleep for exactly two million years.

During the nephala's slumber, civilisations began to form. These civilisations naturally meant division of land as they constructed borders around their territories.

The humans had more land than the other races, followed by the demons, then the elves, and lastly, the dwarves. But all these races coexisted peacefully with each other, despite the differences in their sizes and shapes. They knew that the world was a big place, and there was enough room for everyone.

As their coexistence grew, they built academies to nurture proceeding generations. They shared knowledge and wisdom, and each race thrived in their own way. The humans built great cities, filled with art and music, while the elves remained close to nature and its secrets. The dwarves delved deeper into the earth, searching for precious stones and metals, and the demons created great fortresses and strongholds.

But as time passed, trade and commerce became necessary for their survival. The humans traded their arts and music, while the elves traded their secrets of the forest. The dwarves traded their precious metals and stones, and the demons traded their knowledge of the arcane. Business transactions took place between them as they knew it was a necessity for survival.

Nevertheless, hostilities never vanished. Each race had some kind of guardian to keep others at bay. The Great Elven Tree stood as a symbol of power and creation for the elves, while the humans and dwarves had their own heroes and apostles to worship. The mother of dragons was said to be capable of destroying the planet with a single sigh, while the merfolk's queen was equally legendary.

Magical beasts had unspoken protection from the noble dragons, despite it being rare. Spiritual beasts, on the other hand, were practically untouchable by any physical means as they dwelt in the spiritual world.

However, ever since their Demon Lord was slain, the demons' situation had become quite peculiar. They were heinous beings that relished in the destruction of all things wholesome and pure. For millennia, they had terrorized not only humanity but other races as well, not leaving any bones and souls in their wake. But something had changed. No longer did they spread death and destruction wherever they tread. Instead, they resorted to more business-related methods. They were now more cunning and tempting than ever before. The connected world had opened up new opportunities for them, and they were seizing every chance to make deals and amass wealth.

Although they had changed, they weren't to be taken lightly. They retaliated if they were harmed first. Besides, they had Primaeval demons, totalling six, as their guardians, who were said to possess unknown levels of magic power. So, each race couldn't just assault the other races, as it would be counterproductive and cause needless deaths, causing massive losses to each other.

However, over time, the races cast aside their differences, and despite clashing cultures, relationships between different races became normality. Trifles and hostilities almost became non-existent, but social status was a bitter thorn in this seemingly peaceful state. And human desires brought upon greater sins than that of demons...

And then, at the dawn of two million years, the nephala awakened. Things were drastically different now. New creatures had emerged, new civilizations had risen and fallen, and the world had become a place of wonder and mystery. Evolutions capable of altering a being's genetic structure and magic power occurred. New magic not known to him had appeared: The world had changed, but the nephala's power remained. It was as if he had never left, and the people of the world whispered tales of the "Great Demon God" who had shaped the world with his magic.
