"DANGER-DANGER." x2
*Squawked
Kai kept running while being followed by a herd of hogs that was twice the size of the first hog that he killed.
After running just for a few seconds he hears an absurd halt in the sound of stomping and followed by the sound of something falling to the ground.
Feeling something was wrong, Kai stopped his steps and took cover in the big tree to take a look at what was happening behind him.
He sees all the hogs that were chasing him were all falling to the ground and they seem to be dead really quickly with how their bodies are still twitching not proceeding that they are already dead.
Looking around the perimeter he doesn't see any human presence anywhere that might have killed the herd of hogs.
When he saw his parrot that had landed on his shoulder he saw his face was also confused as he was.
"Do you see what is happening Ōmu?"
*Shake-shake
"Weird."
Kai feels he needs to get out of the forest quickly and doesn't need to be too curious about what happened with how dangerous this world was.
But remembering that his bag that was still on top of the tree and his kunai that was just given by his father was still in the body of the hog that he killed in previous places he was in dilemma.
'Well I just ask my father to retrieve it.'
Who knows there's a herd of big hogs in the forest of the village who are supposed to be a safe region.
There's a reason why his mother allowed it to explore this forest, but unknown are dangerous things and his curiosity might kill him.
"No need to check, let's go home Ōmu." Kai said to his parrot while he turned back to the direction where the exit of the forest was.
"Waaaaaa…!!!"
Kai was startled and his parrot was shocked screaming until fainting when they turned back they saw a white face with red eyes staring at them while sticking his hand with a kunai to them.
"You forgot your kunai and your bag, you know."
Trying to calm his heart, Kai looked at the boy that was standing in front of him.
Konoha head guard, short hair, Uchiha style clothing, but the eyes were already back to normal. Moreover, he was familiar with that haircut.
'Uchiha Shisui!'
"Hello." Kai greeted him while picking his fainted parrot from the ground.
"Is your bird okay?"
"I think he was just fainting."
Kai checked his parrot closely and it seems everything is fine.
"Ahh…, sorry if I have scared you two, I heard someone shouting for help when I was near so I came closer."
"You don't have to apologize to me Uchiha-san, I must be the one who thank you for your help."
Kai took the kunai and his bag that was in the hand of Shisui that was still holding on to his stuff.
"Shisui, my name is Uchiha Shisui."
"Hello Shisui-san, my name is Might Kai."
"What are you doing in the forest alone kai?"
"I was planning to explore it and setting up a trap to catch a hog to test what I learned while in the academy but I don't know that there's gonna be a herd of big hogs following behind the first one."
While he was talking to Shisui he sensed some movement from the hand that was holding his parrot.
"Red Eye Demon." x2
*Squawked
"Calm down Ōmurichi, it was not a demon." Kai tries to calm his parrot who keeps shouting after waking up from his faint.
After his parrot was calming down Kai placed it back on his shoulder but it seems his parrot was still quite scared how it still hid behind his head.
"Sorry Shisui-san for the Ōmurichi word."
"It's okay, because you two are already safe, now I need to leave."
"Wait Shisui-san, here take this as a thanks for helping me."
Kai gave Shisui a coupon for his shop that would give discounts upon purchase.
"Thank you."
After hearing the thanks from Shisui and taking his coupon he sees Shisui was disappearing from his sight.
"Let's go home Ōmu."
Kai talks to his parrot who is still hiding behind his head while looking around.
He started heading towards the exit of the forest. It was enough adventure for today.
When he finally reached the outside of the forest, Kai stared back at the forest.
Thinking about how different he was from the guy who never leaves his home to become someone who loves to explore outside.
