A Light In The Darkness

While the body of the boy called Rei Kurama lay unconscious, inside his mental plane a peculiar scene was going on.

Inside Rei's mental Plane.

In a world filled with pitch black darkness there was only one spot which was still giving off a blue light.

This blue light was the boy's conscious gradually getting corroded by the darkness.

The spiritual pressure of the huge amount of yin mana was beyond what his young soul could handle hence manifesting itself in the form of darkness that gradually corroded his psyche.

Although he didn't know what was happening to him he had a feeling that if he was covered by the darkness he would cease to exist.

This created a fear and dread in him making his already weak conscious unstable.

"M-Mom help me."

His cries fot help were herd by nobody, drowning in the darkness.

Alas he was young boy with weak psyche, slowly but surely the blue light was covered by the darkness destroying his spirit and soul out of existence.

In the real world.

The boys unconscious body suddenly stopped struggling laying lifeless.

Chief and the clansmen knew the inevitable had happened and closed their eyes to pray for the boys soul but Miso was different, she could not accept this reality.

This child was her lifeline she could not accept that he had died.

In denial and crying profusely she shook the boys body hoping it would wake him up.

Rei's mental plane

In the pitch black world filled with nothing but darkness suddenly space seemed to distort and a white light emerged at the place where the blue light had previously been.

Slowly the white light spread and a new existence took birth.

In the darkness the Archmage of Sun's world Raymond Sins, The Eternal Flame who also distroyed that world was reborn.

Raymond opened his eyes in the familiar darkness but it was suffocating him.

He didn't know where he was, he remembered being eaten by his own flames and it wasn't pleasent. He looked at himself and it was white, a white dot and then at the unpleasant darkness which seemingly wanted to eat him.

"Hmph! I am not an easy snack you bastard."

He instinctively understood what he had to do and pushed away at the darkness making his existence more prominent and doing so that white light spread.

In the middle of the white light the form of Rei suddenly appeared.

He looked at himself in confusion for a while.

"What is this? Its not me. A kid around 3-4, Is this perhaps reincarnation."

Although still somewhat confused he could guess and accept what had happened to him.

He had died and reincarnated somewhere.

Having been an experienced archmage he understood he must be inside a mental plane of some sort.

He looked at the white sphere levitating inside the white light, planning to check on it later and after making sure that he could keep the darkness at bay he got out of the plane.

Real world.

Miso who was shaking the boys body in denial was surprised as she heard the boy breath again.

The dark chakra slowly receded into the boys body and the boy opened his eyes.

Raymond looked slowly at the people not speaking a word knowing these must be people close to the previous owner of the body.

Miso suddenly hugged the boy and started crying but with joy this time.

"Rei, my boy I knew you were okay, i knew it. I am so glad nothing happened to you."

*sob* as she continued crying while hugging Rei the faces of the chief and other clansmen were plastered with shock and surprise.

"T-this."

This was impossible, no it was miracle that deep down they were hoping for but knew wasn't possible. It was something that had never happened in the long standing history of their clan and it meant a lot to these people.

"This can't be happening."

Few clan members finally muttered in surprise as they looked at the boy.

The chief didn't know what had just happened, but he was glad for this miracle. Although surprised he still smiled with happiness.
