The White Orb

While the others were in surprise Raymond no was he Rei now, was calm and collected he closed his eyes in Miso's embrace and started looking at this body's memories.

* flashback start *

"Haha mother catch me if you can." A 2 year old Rei ran in the compound with Miso following behind him pretending to be slow and tired.

*thud**Ack*

"Uwwwa"

He fell down face first and started crying in pain. Miso ran fast and checked up on him hugging him to calm him down.

"Rei my child, shush shush, you are okay see you aren't hurt at all, its just a scratch."

Snot flew everywhere from his nose as he continued crying hysterically.

"Uwwwa b-but it hurts mom."

* flashback end *

'Ew Snot nosed brat.'

The new Rei held his head in embarrassment at the memory imagining snot flowing from his nose.

Slowly he looked through the memory of this body merging them with his own and became the new Rei Kurama.

He gained a little understanding of where he was.

'Shinobi world, Village hidden in the leaf hmm.'

As he understood more of the world through the memories he started to gain interest in this new world.

'Shinobi world Lets see what you have in store for me.'

"Mother I am fine now." Rei looked at Miso reassuring her.

"Yeah yeah you are fine and i am so glad that you are okay my child."

Still not out of it she continued to hug Rei, her child that she had almost lost for good.

Words could not describe the relief and happiness she was going through right now.

Unable to convince her to seperate from him he continued to stay with Rei for few more hours before the village chief and others managed to convince her to take a rest.

When everyone had left him Rei tried to stand up but he couldn't stand properly his body was too weak due to what he had gone through he had no choice but take a rest for now. So he layed on the bed and went back inside his mental plane to check things out.

Inside Mental Plane

Inside a bitch black world there was a small space filled with white light, Rei stood there as he looked around.

First he checked the glowing white orb it just hovered there he tried touching but his hand just phased through it.

Rei was a curious individual if there was something he didn't understand he would become hell bent on unraveling it.

But this thing, he knew instinctively that he had to wait for it to open up to him he could not rush it.

Although frustrated he still accepted it, afterall he was also a man who didn't like to waste his time.

Then he looked at the darkness surrounding him he tried to push on it but it was too strong .

'No have i become weaker?'

It was his spirit that had become weaker.

'Ugh! what a pain.'

He sighed in resignation as he knew he could do nothing to this darkness right now.

"Hmph be happy while you still have teeth bastard cause one day i am gonna break them for you."

Umm Lets just say every accomplished person is an eccentric of some sorts, and our Rei was quite an accomplished person himself.
