chapter 15 : Sunagakure
After a week with them, Merlin decided it was time to leave. His next location had already been determined. After saying goodbye to the Chinoike Clan children's, Merlin went for Sunagakure.
Merlin was soaring in the sweltering desert. 'The living circumstances of hidden sand is terrible.' Merlin approached the village without informing the suna shinobi. The town was not as developed as the other place Merlin saw. Walking down the street, Merlin noticed a large number of folks laboring in the hot sun to construct a new building. Merlin then went to an inn to spend a few days. The major reason Merlin came here, despite the fact that there is nothing useful here, is because of sand worms in his memory. Sand worms are massive creatures that feed on minerals and are the finest species to do blood sacrifice art with. Merlin felt confident he could reach senior apprentice wizard level within a year if the trip to suna is successful.
On the way to training area for shinobi, Merlin noticed shinobi's practicing puppetry. "The art of puppetry has value because if I can reproduce the puppet and give it soul, I can get it to perform various tasks." Before leaving the village, he determined he needed to catch some puppetry shinobi and learn more about the skill. Soon, Merlin noticed a shinobi guarding the training ground's entrance. Casting 'domination Grasp' Merlin questioned the guard. "Where are the earthworms located?"
"It is located to the east of training ground."
"Is there any one on the training ground where earth worms are located."
" No, the guards are scared of the monster worm and no one is willing to go there. "
Giving him a bug Merlin said " crush it if someone come near monster worm area."
Leaveing the guard Merlin went to where the worms are located. After searching for a long time Merlin found his target. Casting root bind Merlin first immoblized the creature then he drugged it to keep it unconciess . After drawing the magic circle Merlin began to perform blood sacrifice art. As the magic circle started to glow the unconscious beast wake up and began struggle to escape. Strengthening his spell Merlin completed the practice. " System how much chakra level increased.?"

pleased with the outcome. Merlin persisted in inquiring of the AI what proportion of chakra remains before he meet the requirements to become a senior apprentice wizard.

Felling satisfied, Merlin resumed his search. After making six more sacrifices, Merlin discovered that it was difficult to find more worms. He soon departed from the training area. Before turning in for the night, Merlin began his daily meditation by reaching back at the inn. Merlin resumed his quest early the following morning.
After a few weeks, "I need to find ninja who are skilled in puppetry and I should stop the hunt for earth worms, if this continues the village shinobi will find something is wrong." Merlin called the guard he subdued as he returned to the entrance. "Tell me the name of the person who is most proficient in puppetry"
"Chiyo sama" the guard replied. Taking back his control spell on the shinobi, merlin wiped out the shinobi's memory related to him before leaving. ' now I need to capture elder chiyo ' " system show me the map of hidden sand village." During the past few days Merlin recorded the the map of entire village. Soon he found out where chiyo's house was. Reaching there Merlin looked at the old building. ' let's start the plan when it's dark .'
As sun goes down and moonless night came Merlin slowly went inside the building after casting 'shadow veil'. Finding out this place is heavily guard by shinobi's, Merlin take's out a ball from his pocket and threw it to various direction. This was Merlin upgraded version sedative gas he developed. The effect of the gas was losing of focus, making it easier to sneak in. Walking upto the room of chiyo. Merlin slowly opened the the door but what greeted him was a kunai. Blocking it with defence spell Merlin casted 'rootbind' and restraint the elder. " Where are the information related to puppetry. " Merlin questioned. Not giveing any reply chiyo summend five puppet's and the caught chiyo turned into a smoke. Seeing there is no use of talk Merlin causally stretched out this hand.

Subsequently several roots appeared out out of know where binding both the puppet and chiyo. To stop alerting others Merlin casted domination grasp. Controlling her Merlin flew out in the sky with her. After reaching enough distance Merlin released his control spell. Regaining concious chiyo started to question him ". Are you a shinobi from leaf village. Why did you attack me."
Hearing the question Merlin found it funny ' why does this women always suspect the leaf village. Thinking she might have some issue with her brain Merlin spoke " my name is Merlin and I am not a shinobi I am a wizard. I came to trade information regarding puppetry with you."
After listening chiyo calm down " if you want to trade you should have gone to the kazikaga not me ". Chiyo replied.
" I am not here to trade with your village. I am here to trade with you." Hearing this chiyo frowned.
" What made you think I am willing to trade with you." Chiyo asked facing Merlin.
When Merlin saw this, he grinned to himself. Now that everything is going according to plan, he employed the same tactic he did for members of the Chinoike Clan. Since their living conditions are harsher than those of other villages, there's no reason not to take advantage of this.
