35 - Future planning 1

[MC POV]

After academy, we went to Nara compound to Chikako's house. As we were playing Shogi, my mind was thinking about issue which coming. As Indra said, its gonna be tough as monsters which start to appear gonna be more dangerous even than Madara.

I started to process my mind around my power level, which I can achieve in future. And after thinking about it, i am seeing bleak future.

What i got now is,

 -> Good Chakra control

 -> Kawarimi no Jutsu

 -> Henge no Jutsu

 -> Observation Haki (In middle of training)

 -> Kenjutsu (Basic level)

 -> Rekkou (In middle of training)

With this techniques, I can say, I will be kenjutsu Specialist in close range and can reach up to Genin level. After learning all of Ikki's and Allen's technique i can go up to special jonin level. After learning Itto shura and Edelweiss's swordsmanship i can reach up to High jonin level. But its still distance future. And achieving that might take up to 10 years.

Now what I lack is, middle and long range techniques.

In future, Ninja war is coming, and i don't think i will be able to stop it. Uchiha unrest has somewhat subsided because Shishui and other 2 Uchiha joining with Jirayia sama in investigation mission. And i am sure they are investigating how much time it will come for bigger and powerful monster to come from other side. Its becoming headache for me. And i don't even know if in this monsters humanoids are gonna be there or not.

As i was thinking all this,

Chikako: "Hey, its your turn."

I awakened from my stupor, checked out board after thinking made my next move.

Chikako: "What happened?"

Should i include Chikako in this? After sometime i decided to include him in this.

"I am thinking what Shishui san said about his mission."

Chikako: "About monsters that started appearing."

"Yes. I think its more serious than it looks."

Chinatsu San: "Why do you think that?"

As we looked sideways, Chinatsu san is coming from hall, and sat in side of board.

"This event is different. Normally when you think, different kinds of animals, never seen before has appeared in area than you think, they must be part of some experiment."

Chikako thought somethings.

Chikako: "I got it. They are appearing all around world, that's why duration of mission is that long. Its not just one region, its all region."

"Exactly, and i can think of only way they start appearing like this. Some type of door or something." I don't want to sound like I know about space jutsus.

Chinatsu san thought something and said:

Chinatsu: "What you are describing is space channels?"

"Oh, they are called 'Space Channels'. OK, what i can think of, there is 2 possibilities. One, this space channels will heal themselves. Second, they will expand. If they are Space channels, means they are connecting with different place. This monsters have never appeared in world, so i can conclude that this animals are from different world."

Chinatsu san got shocked by this.

Chinatsu: "What you are saying make sense? What do you think might happen?"

"From 2 scenarios best case is this space channels close themselves and Bad scenario is they will expand. If space channel expands, it might be possible larger monster started appearing in this world. Unknown world, unknown possibilities, unknown danger. Currently on base of what Shishui san described, only small or weak monsters has started to appear. And their number is low. If number increased or strong monster started to appear it might cause danger to Ecosystem or humanity. This might be global extinction event."

Chinatsu: "What you said is correct? You predicted all this correctly. Sandaime sama already gave us this information in Jonin meeting and sent this information to 5 major and other small hidden villages."

"This is good. Hokage sama has took correct decision in this, predicting worst case scenario. But we will still have problem facing this monsters."

Chinatsu: "What do you mean?"

"Currently, Shinobi history is all about fighting with each other, basically hit and run type of fighting. Only attack specialist, and some fighting type jutsu can be said to be for fighting animals."

Chinatsu: "Why do you think that?"

"If monsters skins are tough as still and its size is large than elephants, can you stop it via your shadow possession jutsu or fire ball jutsu."

After thinking for sometime he denied it via shaking his head.

"Exactly, We need to prepare for that scenario. Shinobi fighting is well and good but we need some special force which can deal with different kinds of scenarios."

Chinatsu: "What you are describing is worst case scenario?"

"Yes, But we can't start drilling the well when there's already a fire. We need to prepare before hand."

Chinatsu: "Okay, how do you prepare for it?"

"Actually, I already started, even Chikako and Shishui san started in it."
