A ghost.

Never had Nate thought that Zuni, Max and Cab will be able to finish off the rest of the wolf pack. One should know that although the wolves were not on the same level as the alpha, they were not far off. At least they were a level below the king level and from how nate views the three, they shouldn't be able to take out a number of those beasts so fast.

'Did I really underestimate their fighting experience ?' nate wondered.

Just then, he could hear foot's steps approaching him and no doubt, it was Zuni, Max and Cab. They have finally mustered the courage to approach Nate.

"No way! Don't tell me you were fighting that thing!" Zuni shouted on seeing the dead wolf.

"I should be the one surprise here, how were you guys able to handle the others?" Nate asked. What was more shocking to him was that none of them seems to have any visible wounds on their body.

"Not only did you underestimate our fighting skill, but you also underestimated the weapons and power you gave to us," Cab said and the others agreed on it.

"Really, did I do that?" nate wondered but soon snap out of it.

"We need to finish what we started," nate exclaimed and they at was started to work on the reason they attack the wolf pack in the first place.

They first extract the beast crystal from the beasts. It turned out that Zuni was the one that has the highest kill among the beast. Nate was surprised to know this but still wave it off, he was the one that equipped him with strong weapons after all.

After the extraction of the beast's crystal, they were supposed to leave the area but nate still need some important things from the beast's body. It's "bone".

Nate has presumed that the beast's bones were quite important when making a weapon especially when it is being used on its crystal.

However, the problem here is that the beasts were just too big and couldn't fit into his inventory therefore, he had Cab cut the wolfs body into pieces and stored it in a black nylon bag. Even at that, they were still large and couldn't fit in one inventory slot.

They have to store about two bags in one lot till they are through with all they were doing.

After this they left the fighting area and head back to the tree house though in the happy mode because with what they have harvested, they will be making a new weapon for themselves.

It didn't take long for them to reach the tree house and soon set unpacked the bone and flesh of the wolfs.

The work was not done yet. Started separating the wolf's flesh from the bones and were getting ready to make the weapon.

Nate was rushing everything because at this point, after seeing through the whitebonez memory and knowing that someone out there was behind their appearance, Nate was eager to learn more about them and for him to do so, he has to complete the Leos quest and then ask him more about the whitebonez.

Can be the first to make a weapon, however, he declined the offer.

"I already have something like the chain saw, drill and forehead saw, I don't think having a sword or hammer, or any other weapons will make any improvement, rather it will create more burden for me," Cab explained to Nate.

"What do you intend to do with the crystals, you have three crystals, right?" Nate asked.

"I will rather absorb them to boost my strength and power," Cab answered.

Nate would not force Cab to make a weapon, he felt like Cab was right since he has the sharp saw blades that could even cut through a meteorite stone, it would be like infusing more burden on him by making a weapon for him.

How it would be a burden is that he would have to also train with the weapon to get used to it and he is even yet to get used to the chainsaws, so it will be better if he just focuses on the chainsaws and absorbs the crystal.

With that, Max was called, he has three kills on the wolf pack. "I want an upgrade on my katana sword and then will absorb the rest,"

With that, Nate activated the master craft and chucked all the bones from the wolf's into the burning mist and then added two crystals.

When everything was done, Nate brought out the sword. 'It's now heavier than before,' nate noticed that the katana weight was now higher than before.

"I will leave the inspection to you," Nate handed the weapon back to Max. And when the former inspected it, a wide grime could be seen on his face.

With Max out, Zuni came with his four crystals. Nate was still surprised how Zuni of all people came as the highest killer. Nate even suspected that it was done intentionally so that Zuni could get his hand on something good.

"Since you came as the highest killer, I will reward you with those two, you can keep them," Nate announced to Zuni.

"Really? I can keep them?" Zuni asked but get no other reply from Nate.

"I want two crystals to be used in upgrading each of the two," Zuni announced.

Nate did not waste time and started making the weapon. With all the beast bones being chucked into the master craft mist, the thin sword was the one that was upgraded first. After the upgrade, although it was still light in weight, was no longer so thin. Its body has gained some size that made it look more like a regular sword.

Nate quickly moved to the boot and upgraded it.

After all, was done, it was handed over back to Zuni and he quickly wear the boot. "I promise never to take you off," Zuni promised to the boot and ran off to test it out.

With that all settled, Zuni and Max had left outside to test their weapons even though it was already getting dark.

Cab was sitting cross-leg in a corner of the house with a crystal being held with his two hands, his eyes were crossed as he was trying to absorb the crystal.

Although Nate has a way to spend this up with the help of the system but didn't say anything about it. 'It's best if they were to learn how to do that themselves, I won't be around all the time,' Nate thought to himself.

'Now let's see what I can do out of you,' Nate thought as he brought out the gauntlet. He, first of all, duplicates the blueprint before starting the crafting.

He carried all the alpha wolf bone and pulled into the master craft mist, he then inserted the crystal and the gauntlet. Of course, he did not forget to add more meteorite stones since he has plenty in his inventory and when everything was done, he started crafting the gauntlet.

As he was waiting for the weapon crafting to be over, Nate's mind was thinking about the possibility of a jackpot of the weapon.

[You have done the necessary things needed, surely, this gauntlet will be a jackpot indeed] Jimmy's voice was heard claiming Nate down.

Soon, with a ding sound from the system like when a microwave is done warming a portion of food, the master craft skill was through crafting the weapon.

Nate took it and looked into the special power. At first, his face lit up with joy at the results, but it soon changed as he read the last special effect.

"How could this be...?"

Meanwhile, back was the fight between Nate and the alpha wolf. It was already night and as usual, the whitebonez were out again, but this time, they were not alone.

A dark-haired man was standing while inspecting the blood on the floor. "No doubt, this blood belongs to the leader of that wolf pack, but I thought it was strong, was capable enough to kill it without leaving a track behind," the man wondered.

'It seems like I will have to start preparing for the unknown, first was the whitebonez, now was the wolf and its pack, who is this ghost?'
