5- I am Excalibur

When I saw Grace breakdown in tears I wanted to murder those grandparents but after I heard her choice of leaving them. I could understand her pain and agony.

She is just like me, we only trusted in our brother.

I hugged her tightly and she sobbed and told me her story.

I patiently waited for her to stop crying.

"Damon, I'm so sorry. I have nothing in this world anymore, I don't even know where my brother went, nor do I know where my parents went.... I'm just all alone in this world."said Grace as she looked sad and in pain

Then I remembered that I have that stupid collar, I took out my beef jerky and gave it to Grace.

Grace looked surprised and she refused it, but I insisted. She looked conflicted but in the end she took my beef jerky and split it in half and said"You should also eat with me. Now you are my only family right?"

I took the beef jerky from her hand and nodded at her words.

Being a family with the little girl is absolutely fine, I will raise this girl up into a beautiful young lady one day.

Grace smiled warmly at me and hugged me tightly.

Now that I look at the little girl carefully, she has a very beautiful appearance. Her silky black hair and her pale white skin makes her look so pretty. I wish she was a bit more fatter, she is too skinny and malnourished.

Grace began to fall asleep while holding me.

I decided to use magic to protect us from the rain.

The day passed by...

Grace opened her eyes and saw that it was bright outside. She noticed Damon sleeping in her lap.

She found it to be so cute, she didn't want to wake him up.

Suddenly, Grace felt an immense pain in her heart, she grumbled in pain and agony.

A passerby adventurer noticed a little girl being in pain, the adventurer has fiery red hair and emerald green eyes. The adventurer quickly went towards Grace and carried her to the guild.

Damon noticed this and followed behind the adventurer's back.

"Guild master, the legendary S rank adventurer is here."said the clerk

Everyone in the guild noticed a handsome man with fiery red hair and emerald eyes carrying a little girl in his arms. They also noticed an unusual animal following the adventurer.

"Excuse Madame, can you please call a doctor. The little girl needs one asap. Please call a doctor."asked the adventurer to the clerk

The clerk nodded her head and immediately called out the nearest doctor to check at the little girl's condition.

The doctor came and checked the little girl's pulse.

The doctor gasp in shock and said"Let's go into a more private room, there are too many eyes outside."

They all went inside a private room and locked the door.

"Sir, I'm shocked that this little girl has mana in her, and that mana is humongous! The reason why she gets sick is because her mana is too much, it's overflowing and her body cannot help to stabilise the overflowing mana. I have never seen this condition before, she is just too powerful. Her mana is too strong. She is just like a never ending mana supplier. If she doesn't want to be sick, the best way for her is to use magic to release her mana."said the doctor

Damon looked at Grace with heartache, he approached Grace and began to take in her mana.

Grace heavy breathing stabilized and she looked less in pain. She seemed blissfully asleep.

The doctor, clerk and the adventurer were shocked by what Damon just did.

Taking someone's mana is super dangerous, especially a powerful mana like the little girl. They stared at Damon and began to think just what is this being.

Damon stared at them lazily and sigh.

"Thank you doctor for helping to check the little girl's condition. Please do not disclose her secret to anyone and also Madame, please do not disclose this information."said the adventurer

The clerk and the doctor both nodded their heads and vowed"In the name of Goddess Gaia, we shall not disclose this information that the little girl has overflowing mana to anybody."

A huge magic circle was under them.

They left the room.

The adventurer looked at Grace with eyes full of complex emotions.

He thought to himself: How can she look so much like my dear sister? She looks exactly like her. My dear sister has been missing since she was a child. Even her hair and eye colour reminds me of my mother.

Inside Grace dream,

Grace saw everyone leaving her.

"Goodbye my beautiful daughter."said a warm voice, she couldn't see the person's face but the person had long red hair

"Bye bye, my beautiful Grace."said a person with blonde hair and blue eyes in a sad but loving tone

"Little sister, your brother will be back. Wait for me alright."said a boy with blonde hair and emerald eyes

"goodbye...

Everyone was leaving her.

She begged everyone to stay with her, but no one stayed behind. She cried aloud.

"Someone, someone please stay with me!"she begged

Then she saw a pair of silver eyes looking right into her. A person embraced her tightly in his arms.

She felt like that person was so gentle and kind.

She felt so peaceful.

Then she saw a blinding light, a sword was floating in mid air.

"Master, my name is Excalibur. You can use me however you want. My purpose is to fulfill my master's wish."

Grace looked at the beautiful sword.

"Excalibur, thank you for choosing me as your master but I think I'm unworthy of your choice. I'm not strong or powerful. I believe you can find a better master."said Grace

Excalibur turned into a human, he had black hair and eyes. He looked too handsome and otherworldly.

Excalibur bowed down before Grace and told her"You are not weak nor are you unworthy. I have chosen you as my master because I believe in your capabilities. Master please accept my contract with you. I will not regret it."

Grace looked conflicted but she saw the determination in Excalibur's eyes.

Thus, she reluctantly agreed to be his master.

Excalibur went inside the infinite mark, the mark in her right leg disappeared.

Grace slowly opened her eyes.
