6-Long lost niece
When Grace opened her eyes she saw Damon looking at her with concern in his eyes.
Grace hugged Damon tightly in her arms and said"Damon I'm fine, you don't have to worry too much about it."
Damon snuggled tightly in her embrace.
Grace also noticed the adventurer who helped her.
She tried to leave her bed but the adventurer came towards her and said"Little girl do not move too much, you have just recovered."
Grace looked at the adventurer and nodded her head.
"Thank you so much for saving me, my name is Grace, sir what is your name?"asked Grace with a sweet smile in her face
The adventurer looked at Grace with complicated emotions.
Flashback of the adventurer,
"Brother! Brother! Let's play house together."said an adorable girl with red hair and emerald eyes.
"Okay if that is what my little sister wants, then let's play house."said the handsome boy with red hair and emerald eyes
The little girl hugged her brother tightly and asked"What should we name my child?"
The handsome boy replied and suggested"If your child is a boy then name him Edward, if it's a girl then name her Grace."
The little girl eyes shone brightly and smiled.
"From now on my children's name will be Edward and Grace."said the little girl
Flashback end
Grace saw the adventurer's eyes were overflowing with tears, his eyes reminded her of her dear brother. They had the same colour of emerald eyes.
"Grace, do you know the name of your mother?"he asked
Grace shook her head.
The adventurer asked"Grace, can I meet your family?"
Grace looked sad and said"I don't have a family, my mother and father disappeared, while my older brother left me to look for my medicine."
The adventurer hugged Grace tightly and said"I'm so sorry dear, I'm very sorry for asking this question. By chance, is your older brother's name Edward?"
Grace looked at the adventurer with a surprise face and exclaimed"How did you know? Do you know my brother Edward? Do you know where he went?"
The adventurer shook his head.
Grace looked very sad and disappointed.
"Grace, how old are you? If you don't have anyone with you. I will take care of you."said the adventurer
Grace looked conflicted and replied"this year I'm turning 17, so currently I'm 16 years old. Sir, you don't have to take me with you. You don't have to pity me."
The adventurer and Damon were both shocked.
They looked at Grace appearance carefully and still did not believe she was 16 years old. She looked at most 12-13 years old.
"Grace, I want to take you with me not because I pity you, but it is because you could be my long lost niece. 30 years ago, my little sister and I went in a trip. In that trip, the ship got wreaked and my younger sister disappeared with that ship. Our family tried our best to look for my little sister, but she was nowhere to be found. This is my little sister's picture."
The adventurer took out a locket from his neck and showed a picture of a cheerful little girl. The little girl looked exactly like Grace. Everything about her was so similar.
"But I don't have red hair or green eyes. My hair is also not curly like your little sister. I think you have mistaken."said Grace
The adventurer shook his head and said"I have not mistaken, our mother has straight black hair and eyes. You look like a carbon copy of your mother with your grandmother's gene."
"I am deeply thankful and grateful for your help but I don't want to raise your or my hopes high, I believe that this is just a pure coincidence. If there is no way to prove that you and I are related, then I won't follow you."said Grace with a firm tone
The adventurer smiled brightly and said"This might hurt a bit but I have the proof that you are my little sister's child."
The adventurer started to summon.
"Listen to my call, the being in another world, the protector of the Hayes. Bestow upon this child your protection."chanted the adventurer
A huge magical circle appeared under Grace and the adventurer.
A majestic being appeared
