My hopes on you are more than others..

Inside the office;

Quan Li was sitting in his seat while, Feng Mian and Ling Shenmi were standing opposite to him. After a while, Quan Li said with a cold tone " So explain."

Feng Mian wanted to make a false excuse but Ling Shenmi acted faster than her "Sir, I had a horrible dream this morning which scared me a lot so Xiao Mian was comforting me. We weren't aware of the time. So, we became late. Hope you will forgive us. "

Feng Mian pulled her sleeves and said in a low voice, "Why did you tell him the truth?! He's not gonna fall for such a stupid reason! He will surely punish us!"

Quan Li looked at Ling Shenmi for long time pondering something. The situation got a little awkward. Feng Mian pulled her sleeves again "Look he's thinking so hard what punishment should be given to us!" Ling Shenmi said in a low voice, "Calm down."

"*Ahem" Ling Shenmi cleared her throat to make him come back to his senses. Noticing the awkwardness, Quan Li left his gaze on Ling Shenmi and said, "You, both, this is my first and last warning. If this happens again, despite of any reason, you'll get punished. And Your name is Ling Shenmi,right?"

He asked looking at Ling Shenmi again. Ling Shenmi nodded her head " Yes, My name is Ling Shenmi." He said in indifferent voice " I heard about you. You are the most capable trainee out of all. So, Obviously My hopes on you are more than others. I hope you don't disappoint me on this evaluation."

Ling Shenmi said in firm and domineering voice " Thankyou, sir. I will not disappoint you." Quan Li nodded his head " Now, You two may leave."

Feng Mian's jaw almost dropped. 'The hell?! He said we can go just like that, without any punishment!?' Ling Shenmi bowed, "Thank you sir, we'll depart now." She then saw Feng Mian who was standing like a statue. She sighed and dragged her out.

Quan Li stared at their disappearing backs for a long time. Some old memories flooded in his mind. In his memories, he saw a middle aged woman. He asked her, "What important thing should I remember about this girl?"

She answered him, "She doesn't like to talk very much. She's quiet all the time. At night, she always has some horrible nightmares which frightens her a lot." He frowned and asked, "What kind of nightmares?"

The woman shook her head, "I don't know. She doesn't open up to anyone. But I guess her nightmares are related to her parents. She keeps sweating and panting. Sometimes, I hear her screaming and crying. I really pity her."

Quan Li came back to his senses. He sighed and murmured, "She still has those horrible nightmares.."

At training ground

Feng Mian was cheerfully jumping around while Ling Shenmi was silently walking by her side. Feng Mian stopped jumping and looked at her bestfriend looking confused. Ling Shenmi asked while walking " What is it?"

Feng Mian said as she slowly followed Ling Shenmi " I am very curious. We have spent so many months under Sir's training and we know his personality. He is so cold and don't forgive easily. I heard that the previous batch trainees were also late one day and he punished them with 25 rounds of this whole ground. Can you beileve it for some minute late, the trainees had to make 25 rounds rounds..I mean I can't even make 5 or 6 rounds, That must be really tiring ..I pity them so much.."

" So, I was wondering , why would he spare us. I thought we will be punished by the same way. Did he change?..Wait..I guess I know it's answer..He told you that you were very capable and he had high hopes on you. So, maybe he let this issue go because of you.And because I am your friend he also spared me."

Feng Mian eyes brightly twinkled as she said that. She was so talkative like she was asking question and answering herself. She suddenly backhugged Ling Shenmi " Shenshen, you are my lucky charm. If I were a boy, I would've surely married you."

Ling Shenmi shuddered at those thought. She pushed her away " No, I am not lesbian and I am not intrested in love as well." Feng Mian pouted " I know you like me. Otherwise you are superduper cold infront of everyone but with me you are like warm blooming flower. Isn't it because you take me as very special person?"

Ling Shenmi facepalmed herself and decide to change the subject " Xaio Mian, Do you know nearby a new cafe has opened. Will you mind going there with me this afternoon?" Feng Mian smiled brightly and replied immedietly " No, Never i will never mind..Aww, Shenshen and I am having a date today. I should look very pleasant on this date."

Ling shenmi's expression became like -__-.
