The Disagreement

'Damn, I'm doomed.'

"Y-you heard?" It seemed as if Jody's neck had a thorn stuck in it. She couldn't believe what she'd heard. Is his hearing good enough to hear such a thing?

"We heard it too," Kody said, chuckling. "Clear as a bell."

Jody took a quick look at the man. "You probably know that everyone will hear that since the hill faces the school," Tim said.

She tried to speak but was utterly at a loss for words.

"What did Zev do to you, Jody?" asked Kody. "Was he abusive? Did he bother you?"

"Damn it! Why would I do that?" Zev said, annoyed.

"Shhh! Quiet, Zev, we're in the middle of an investigation." Tim said.

"Go on, Jody, tell us. We're on your side..." Kody said.

"Haist..." Zev reacted with anger.

"Well, ahm... he just... he just messed up my hair..." Jody said.
