The Scream of Annoyance
It puzzled Jody the next day when she did not see Zev and Glendir having breakfast in the garden as always. She turned to Liza, who was busy preparing her food. Liza carefully put the cutlery on the table, and the rest was neatly there.
"Why just me, Liza? Where are Uncle and Grumpy?" asked Jody.
"Ah, Sir Glendir is still in the room. Sir Zev is eating breakfast with him." Liza said.
Jody asked, "Did something happen to Uncle?"
Liza did not speak. She knew that Glendir didn't want to be locked in a room. Jody immediately got up and went to Glendir's room. She took a deep breath and was about to knock when the door opened suddenly. Zev raised his eyebrows when he saw her put her hand on his chest. Jody immediately put her hand down, and Zev closed the door.
"Why did you come here?" Zev looked very serious.
"Uncle didn't eat breakfast in the garden, but I just wanted to..."
"He's asleep."
