My Life Sucks, No Kidding [An Anime-verse Story]

"What colour... do you want to be?" When I was asked such a question from an apathetic looking girl out of nowhere, I was more than a little surprised. I thought it to be some kind of rhetorical question, but somehow deep down, I knew it was more than that. The past few days have been really eventful for me. Starting from being called out by my Homeroom teacher on the third day of the beginning of my second year in High school, to being given a tempting offer of escaping a punishment by moving out of the regular dorms to the infamous Sakura dormitory. I thought I was done with all the events for the week. Guess I was wrong. "What colour... do you want to be?" The girl who looked like she came straight out of a painting, repeated her question and stared into my eyes. My answer to her question was simple enough. "... I don't know." *** Hello to everyone who is going to read this book. I want you guys to read this synopsis as it's going to be important. This story is going to be different. It is not going to be your usual story where a harem-seeking protagonist gets reincarnated into an anime verse and gets a system yada yada. The protagonist in this story is not a reincarnated person. He is just a regular guy born into a world where various slice of life animes co-exist together. The protagonist of this story will have an original story of his own where he experienced various things in his past; which made him the way he is. It's nothing tragic, just the usual protagonist backstory and shit. You guys will understand what I mean once you read the story. This story will revolve around the anime- Sakurasou no pet na Kanojo. Different characters from different slice-of-life anime will appear throughout the story. Every major character in this story, will be given importance. I don't know how to put it in words, so I will suggest you to just read this. I hope you guys like it! Peace. *** Anime that I plan to include in this story 1. Sakurasou No Pet Na Kanojo 2. Oregairu 3. Horimiya (Definitely) 4. Toradora (After re-watching the anime) 5. Golden Time (Maybe) 6. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Definitely) 7. Why the hell are you here, Teacher?! (Definitely) 8. We Never Learn (I don't know about this one) 9. From me to you (If you guys want me to) 10. Haganai (Maybe) 11. Your Lie in April (Definitely) 12. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions (Definitely) 13. Oreshura (Maybe) 14. Your Name/Kimi no nawa (Definitely) 15. Weathering with you/Tenki No Ko (Definitely) And many more to come. The girl who looks like a painting (Part-2)

"She is late."

I muttered under my breath with my eyes on my watch. It's already 6:15, and there is still no sign of the little girl I am supposed to pick up. Did she get kidnapped? Oh god, please don't let it be the case. That amazon of a woman is not going to let me live if something happens to that girl.

After Bunny Senpai's departure (yup, I'm going to call her that), I took a half an hour nap and thankfully nobody came to disturb me during that time. I was able to recharge my battery, and by the time I was awake, it was already Six in the evening. Upon checking the time, I frantically looked around the station for any sign of blonde hair which, unfortunately, I was unable to find. People were giving me weird looks, but I didn't care.

I am used to it anyways, nothing new here.

I looked around the station hastily and bumped into a few people. A quick apology was enough to diffuse the situation, and even if someone started throwing cusses at me I didn't stop. I'm sure there is going to be a guardian with the little girl as per Chihiro-sensei's words, but I can't help this feeling of worry creeping into my heart.

I just hope I find her soon.

After another five minutes of searching and not finding her anywhere inside the station, I finally realised my mistake and sighed in annoyance.

Of course. When Chihiro-sensei said she was planning on meeting her cousin at the station, she didn't mean INSIDE the station. Sensei, please give clear instructions the next time you send someone to do this kind of work for you. I almost had a heart attack!

I ran outside the station, took small, laboured breaths and wiped the sweat from my forehead. God, I hate not lazing around...

I looked around my surroundings to notice many people going on with their work, I sighed in relief upon not finding any shady looking individual around the place.

"Ho? Is that you Kouhai-kun? Or should I say, Yoshimon?"

I take back my words. There is a shady person here officer, Arrest him. Arrest him please!

I squinted my eyes at the brown haired, tall and slim individual in front of me as an irresistible grumble escaped my lips.

"It is not very nice of you to ignore your Senpai like this, Kouhai-kun. You're hurting my feelings."

The damn Riajuu smirked and a mischievous glint shone in his eyes behind his glasses, making me shiver in disgust.

Great. This Riajuu is also here. Exactly what I needed. Hey, Kami-sama! Why don't you throw that alien here too? Why go easy on me when you dislike me so much?

"Tch. What are you doing here?"

"Do you really want to know?"

I noticed a kiss mark on his neck. Upon seeing that sight, I realised what he was up to. Yup, he is a lost cause.

"Now that I think about it, I'm fine with not knowing."

Mitaka-senpai smiled at me. I didn't get what was so funny about my response though.

"I guess that's that then. Anyways, why are you here? Are you here to pick up older women-"

"Chihiro-sensei gave me something to do. I couldn't reject her due to some unavoidable circumstances, so kindly keep whatever dirty thoughts you have in your head about me to yourself!"

He ignored what I said and solely focused on the mention of Sensei's name from my mouth, "Oh my. Chihiro-sensei? You sure don't hold back Kouhai-kun. First Kana-sensei and now our supervisor? You're even one level above me."

"It was a misunderstanding!"

My cheeks burned in embarrassment as I recalled that event from last year. The event which became the reason for this senpai of mine to take such unhealthy interest in me.

Last year, during my first year as a student of Sobu High, Mitaka-senpai caught me inside the washroom with my language teacher, Kana Kojima, often referred to as Kojima The Demon.

Believe me, that name does not exaggerate, she really is a demon!

And before you get the wrong idea, nothing happened between Sensei and I. Nothing at all!

"Hm? The instance I saw you inside the boy's washroom with Kana-sensei, with her pants down and you standing over her, the sight of that begs to differ your statement of it just being a misunderstanding."

Nothing happened!!

He chuckled to himself as my face turned pale, "I never thought there would be someone capable enough to conquer that demon. I'll even need to learn a thing or two from you."

Stop it, Don't remind me of it! That dreadful memory! That incident has forever tainted my poor and innocent soul! I can't even look at sensei straight in her eyes after that!!!

The damn Riajuu chuckled some more before giving me a smile, "So, back to the topic. Why are you here Matsumura-kun?"

He changed the topic as easily as he breathes. Man, he is even better than Hayama.

I didn't respond for a few seconds, before I finally relented and sighed. "...Have you seen this girl around here somewhere?"

I showed him the picture of....Mashiro Shiina, was it? He took the photo from my hand and examined it for a good few seconds.

"She is adorable."

"I guess."

I shrugged my shoulders in a nonchalant manner as he gave me a candid smile.

"She looks like she is five, doesn't she?"

"Mhm"

"Is she your sister, Matsumura-kun?"

Senpai asked curiously as he put the photo near my face, probably looking for any similarity. There is no need to do that, she is too pretty to be my sister. I have an above average face with dark-brown hair and green eyes, whereas the girl in the photo looks like an angel. I can't even believe she is Chihiro-sensei's cousin. That woman might be attractive, but this girl is like a doll. A doll that doesn't look creepy.

"No, she is not."

"Hm? Then why do you have this picture of her?"

He looked at me with suspicion in his eyes. Oi, whatever you're thinking is wrong. Stop with that thought this instant.

"Don't look at me as if I'm a creep. I'm supposed to look for her and take her to our dorm."

Wait, I worded it wrong didn't I?

"Oh, that's, I understand." As expected, senpai looked at me with repulsion in his eyes. This is the first time I have seen him with such an expression, it kind of creeped me out, "Matsumura-kun, kindly listen to what I have to say. As your Senpai, I have to make sure you don't walk this path."

"Oi oi, you're totally taking it the wrong-"

"Go to the police Matsumura-kun. Admit that you're a pedophile. Tell them whatever you were planning to do to this little girl. Come, I will accompany you."

"...Why are you saying that with such a serious face?!" I massage my forehead as an irritated sigh escape my lips. I don't have time for this! "I don't have time to chit-chat with you. I need to look for this girl. Chihiro-sensei wanted me to pick her up from the station in her stead. It has already been 25 minutes since the given time."

I look at my watch once again before deciding to take my leave.

"If you haven't seen her, then fine. I will look around for her now."

"Is that what it was? How boring."

I ignore him and start walking. Did he really think it'd be more interesting if I was a pervert?

"Wait up Kouhai-kun! I will help you." He caught up with me and gave me a reassuring smile, "It'd be much better for the both of us to look for her, don't you think? Let's go." I didn't confirm nor deny his words and simply walked through the crowd of people.

I didn't say it, but I was glad he was helping. It'd definitely be easier if we both searched for her together.

After half an hour of unsuccessful searching, we both took a seat near a fountain outside the station. It was already seven in the evening, and we weren't able to find her at all. Mitaka-senpai actually helped by asking people if they had seen her, he was even reassuring me that we will find her soon. I should deny it no longer, this damn Riajuu is actually very reliable.

Still, where in the world is this girl? I need to find her. I can't go back to the dorm without her...

"...I guess she is not coming today. Or maybe she went to the dorm by herself? Why don't you ask Chihiro-sensei if she is there or not?"

Mitaka-senpai broke the silence as he tried to reassure me once again. I simply shook my head at his words and took a sip from the water bottle I bought while searching for the little girl.

"Maybe. But there's still a chance she is here. You can go back if you want to Senpai. This is not something you've to waste your entire time in. I'm the one who is supposed to bring her to the dorm. I would do what I'm expected to do."

Sensei is not picking up her call either. That woman is really pissing me off.

"What are you talking about? I told you I'd help you look for her, didn't I? I can't let my Kouhai think of me as a liar now. My pride is on the line here."

Senpai smiles at me and put his hand on my shoulder. I once again shake my head, but a smile, too small to be noticed, appears at the corner of my mouth.

I guess he is not so bad.

"Besides. I need to make sure you weren't lying about this little girl being Sensei's cousin. As an honest and upright citizen of Japan, I will make sure to hand you over to the police if you really are how you seem to be."

I take it all back. Go blow up, you damn Riajuu!

Our conversation was put to a halt as something in the back of my mind told me to look at the front, and what I saw made the world around me stop for a second, no kidding.

I couldn't hear my surroundings, my eyes were fixated at the front and everything seemed to become completely pointless.

About ten metres away from me, under a cherry blossom tree was seated a girl wearing the uniform of Sobu High. She held the most beautiful pair of eyes I have ever seen, they resembled the eyes of a phoenix with how red they were. Her pale blonde hair reached up to her waist, and her permeable white skin seemed to dye her surroundings white. Her expression was dazed, as if she was not interested in anything or anyone near her, but somehow I knew, that it was far from the truth.

Her eyes, they seemed to be looking at the world differently, as if she was seeing something we were not capable of. Something that made me feel envious and intrigued at the same time.

Truly, she looked as if she came straight out of a painting.

"You see that girl Matsumura-kun? She is really pretty isn't she?"

"...."

"Matsumura-kun?"

"....Yeah she is."

I stood up from my seat and as if a man possessed, moved towards the girl in front of me with slow and steady steps. I recognised her. I knew I had seen her somewhere. And after a second of contemplation, I finally realised she is the girl I was searching for.

Shiina Mashiro.

I'm the type of guy who doesn't let his hormones take control of him. I have never in my life stared at a girl for more than five seconds, no matter how beautiful she may be. The Bunny-senpai I met today was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen, but I still didn't feel the need to gawk at her like a desperate fiend.

That's why, the current situation is making me feel rather troubled.

This is the first time in my life, that a girl took my breath away.

Before I knew it, I was standing in front of her. She looked up at me with that same, dazed expression on her face. I took a deep breath and decided to ask her if she was Shiina Mashiro, but before I could, a voice that could only be defined as monotonous, entered my ears.

"What colour... do you want to be?"

"... Huh?"
