A light-hearted romantic comedy between a young female boss and her older female assistant in a realistically reconstructed world of the defense industry based on the authentic experiences of the author. Plot Synopsis: 19yo Hina inherits a mega-corporation, but she is a billionaire underdog facing dauntingly massive pressure to succeed. Her sidekick, Sin, is an older and experienced woman who is a jack of all trades in the business world with a natural talent for improvising and working behind the scenes to make the clockwork tick. To repay her debt of gratitude to Hina’s late father who brought her under his wings and gave her a career in the defense industry, she dedicates herself to helping Hina and protecting her at all costs. The irresistible charm of Hina slowly starts to move Sin’s heart but she is a woman incapable of loving and being loved. However, Hina is an unpredictable force of nature and her nonchalant shower of affection makes it hard for Sin to juggle her ever-so-confusing feelings and professional commitment. The family feud within Hina’s family, power struggles in the company to oust the young heiress, and political landmines Sin needs to navigate with her young new boss make her life and career increasingly more precarious as time goes by.

Hi, Toobo here.

As I said in the synopsis, this is a yuri rom-com but within a context I'm pretty sure most people have not really seen or experienced before - realistic world of defense industry.

I felt that while there are many CEO type stories, it is not always the case that the business world is portrayed in a believably realistic manner.

Also, a lot of military geeks and otakus are very well versed in various weapon systems and how they work, the industry itself that produce these systems, and the interactions of these companies with government agencies that result in development and deployment of these products are something quite unfamiliar to them, let alone general public.

Furthermore, defense industry (at least in many countries) is not a field where you see many women in management positions.

I thought if I could address these factors in a single story driven with a rom-com narrative, it would be something quite unique and interesting so decided to give it a go.

So here it is. This is very different from others stories I've been writing which are mostly based on school settings, so I'm hoping it will offer something that is enjoyable in its own distinct ways.

You will see a character named "Jenn" and also another called "Hana" appear later on in this story (starting from Ch. 76), and they have their own novel called "Revenge: I Shall Wear Jenn's Smile" now. XD
