David's Own Plan
As it was the day that the rescue team would arrive, David began to walk towards the underground city so that he would be able to be of some assistance to the rescue team. David waited by the edge of the forest for some hours. And finally, he heard the familiar sound, the sound of the Voyager swooshing in the atmosphere of the planet.
He ran near the open space, hiding from the berserkers in the outer village, and yearningly looked up in the sky. He could not express his happiness when he saw the Voyagers closing the distance between him and the sky.
"Finally! I never thought I would be this ecstatic to see the Voyagers. I can return home to my beautiful daughter now." David was missing his daughter a little too much, he could not wait to get in the Voyager and head to Celine. And after that to Earth, his home planet.
