First Semester Exams! Going All Out?!

We finally returned back to Japan after a couple more days in Nevada. I was super excited to be back! As soon as we got back, it was right on time with the First Semester Exams! I just finished up the written exam, it was extremely easy, it didn't take me that long to complete it. We were getting our results today and then we were gonna move on to something else.

"Alright everyone, welcome back from lunch, we'll be passing out your exam results. Remember, the Final Exam can help waver your written exam results." Mr. Aizawa announced.

I got mine back from Ms. Kaoru, as I expected, I got 1st out of the entire class. I felt a tap on my shoulder, I looked to my left and saw Hotaru with her paper held up. She ranked 5th on her written exam.

"Awesome, Hotaru! You did amazing!" I smiled.

She smiled back and nodded at me, once we got the chance to look over our results, Ms. Kaoru gathered them up and brought them back to Mr. Aizawa. He made sure that all 20 were present in the stack.

"Okay... Now, all of you need to head down to the locker rooms and change into your hero costumes. From there, you'll meet us outside at the P.E. Grounds, got it?" Mr. Aizawa instructed.

"Yes sir, Mr. Aizawa!" We all agreed.

We all were dismissed and Ms. Kaoru walked with us out to our locker rooms.

"Hey, Mabel, how was Nevada?" Saizaki asked.

"It was... Quite eventful I would say." I responded.

Zakaza leaned over as she out her costume on, "Uh huh, what do you mean by 'eventful'? Are you saying that like sarcastically or...?"

"My Dad and I fought two demons in the middle of Las Vegas and now I have my teacher's haori & katana from said battle." I elaborated.

All of the girls stared at me almost as if I was speaking gibberish. I honestly could understand why though. As I finished putting my hero costume on, I followed the others and Ms. Kaoru outside. Behind Mr. Aizawa stood Chargebolt, Nejire-Chan, Dad, Uravity, Inkman, Battle Fist, Rule, Red Riot, Pinky, and Phantom Thief.

"Now, time for the final part of your Exam, you'll be going up against one of the teachers in battle." Mr. Aizawa told us.

"W-WHAT?!" We all shouted.

"Yeah! That's right! You'll be going up against one of us." Chargebolt grinned.

"We've already established who you're partnered up with. The entire goal is to get to the exit within 30 minutes OR handcuff one of us to pass. So, with that being said... Mabel and Naoki, you're going up against me." Dad chimed in.

Naoki and I quickly glanced at one another, this was gonna be tough... Really, really, REEEEAALLLYY tough!

"Mitsuri and Chou, you'll be going up against Nejire-Chan. Inazuma and Saizaki, you'll be going up against Phantom Thief. Hotaru and Kotake, you'll be facing Chargebolt. Ishimoto and Arai, you're going to face Pinky. Yamashiro and Zakaza, you'll be fighting Inkman. Uchima and Takayoshi, you'll be facing Battle Fist. Shirogane and Yomaura, you're going to face Uravity. Kokoro and Hiroto, you'll be up against Rule. Takumo and Wazu, you'll be facing Red Riot." Mr. Aizawa informed us.

We all followed the teachers we were assigned, I wasn't feeling the best about this situation honestly. Could we even win against someone like Dad? Albeit he was wearing weights on his arms and legs, I doubt that would make a difference. Dad led us into Ground Beta to start our exam.

"Remember! You've only got 30 minutes to finish this exam!" Nurse Eri reminded us over the intercom.

"Okay, so, what's our plan here?" Naoki asked.

"I'm not entirely sure, but knowing my Dad, he's not going to hold back on us. We need to be careful, the only goal here is to make it to the exit. There's no foreseeable way that we'll be able to handcuff him." I replied.

*THIRD PERSON*

As the exam started, Mabel and Naoki made there way towards Alyx. As they made their way towards the street, they saw him standing there, his arms crossed as he stared straight ahead.

"I'm going to tell you both this right now, you most likely won't get past me." Alyx told them.

"Pfft! As if! I'm gonna handcuff you my damn self!" Naoki shouted.

Alyx ignited into Gear Six, "Is that so? If you're going up against a villain, just know that it won't be that easy, I'd turn that arrogance into strength if I were you. You're gonna need it."

Naoki growled at Alyx's statement and he rushed forward. Mabel tried to stop him but it was no good.

"I'M GONNA BURN YOU TO ASHES!" Naoki cackled.

He sent down a huge phoenix as he jumped into the air that exploded once it connected with Alyx. Mabel landed down next to Naoki as smoke billowed from where Alyx stood.

"W-What...?" Naoki muttered.

The smoke quickly cleared as Leonidus' Aqua Blue and White Overdrive illuminated the street, not a scratch of damage seemed to be on him!

"If that's all you've got, then this'll be easy!" Leonidus smirked.

In the blink of an eye, he charged forward and slammed his fist into Naoki's stomach, it sent him flying backwards and bouncing off the street. Mabel struck her Father's face with an Overdrive Fist, pushing backwards from the force of the attack.

"Not bad, you've definitely have improved, Mabel!" Alyx smiled.

The two Leonidus' darted towards each other and clashed fists, striking and countering each of their punches.

"Come on! I know this isn't everything you've got, Mabel!" Alyx shouted.

"You know me too well, Dad!" She grinned.

Mabel hopped backwards and stood in a charge up position. The area began to shake as Mabel output all of her power! Naoki got up to his feet and watched as this intense display of sheer power went on. He grinned and snuck off into one of the alleyways as Mabel's Violet Overdrive aura grew higher.

"BOOST FIRE... TIMES 99!" She roared.

The Rose-Gold aura shot up around her, both auras burst out as she let out a mighty roar! Alyx covered his face but looked up with glee as he finally witnessed his daughter's full power! Sparks of One For All shot around Mabel as she stood still, not blinking, neither did she move a single muscle. She smirked at her Dad and got into her fighting stance.

"Trust me, we're getting to that exit, Dad. I'll show you just how much stronger I've gotten!" Mabel smirked.

Alyx stood in his fighting stance and smiled back at her. There was a sudden, distant rumbling coming from behind Mabel. She turned around and her eyes narrowed.

"A-Are you... Kidding me?" She sighed.

A gigantic phoenix ripped it's way through the urban streets!

"YOU FUCKER! YOU THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH YOU!?" Naoki screamed.

Mabel moved out of the way, Alyx guarded as the phoenix slammed into him and burrowed him into the ground. Naoki had a firm grip on Alyx, no matter how hard Leonidus tried, he couldn't shake him off!

"Give me a damn break..." Mabel mumbled.

She took off towards Naoki and Alyx, Alyx shifted Naoki's momentum and went upwards into the sky. Naoki's cherry red eyes sparked up as he grinned.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!" He yelled.

He began to spin around and around, "PHOENIX IMPACT!!"

Naoki countered Leonidus' counter then started to descend down towards the ground. With an earth-shattering "KABOOM!", the phoenix erupted and set the street ablaze!

"G-Geez! Talk about taking things seriously!" Mabel thought.

Massive amounts of smoke billowed from the center of Ground Beta. Naoki panted heavily as Mabel landed down next to him.

"You better not've killed my Dad, Naoki!" Mabel scolded.

"N-No... Fuckin' damage's... All good..." He panted.

Suddenly, a huge pillar of Overdrive shot up, completely clearing the smoke from the area. Mabel's eyes widened with fear as she saw Alyx's transformation. His ice white eyes shot open, his cold stare pierced both Naoki and Mabel's souls.

"Like I said, you 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 getting past me." Alyx restated.

"U-Uh... A-Alyx, isn't this a little... Too extreme?" Eri wondered.

Naoki's eyes twitched at the sight, "W-What in the fuck?"

"T-That's... Infinite Mode!" Mabel exclaimed.

"The fuckin' huh?" Naoki scowled.

Alyx stood motionless as Mabel tried to think of a plan. Before she could react, Alyx blasted the two of them back with just the pressure he was outputting! In the blink of an eye, he managed to entrap them in two Overdrive Whips! As hard as they tried, they couldn't break free.

"Alright, this exam is over, you've been detained." Alyx announced.

"B-But we were just getting started!" Mabel protested.

*MABEL'S P.O.V.*

Dads hair faded back to it's original color, "I know, but I did tell you that I wasn't gonna go easy on you! You can't expect everything to go your way, both of you."

"Well, this is fuckin' great, now we aren't gonna pass this goddamn exam because your Dad figured it'd be a great idea to go all out against FUCKIN' CHILDREN!!" Naoki boomed.

"Hey! It's not my fault, I'm not the one who asked for this!" I argued.

"You guys didn't fail, this part of the exam is really just another chance for those that failed the written portion." Dad chimed in.

We both looked at him visibly confused.

"Let this be a lesson that not every battle you'll partake in will be an easy one. Every opponent is experienced in some shape or form that may lead to a significant disadvantage against you. I could've ended this quicker if it wasn't for the two of you, you nearly had me there, Naoki!" Dad smiled.

Naoki rolled his eyes and looked away from Dad, "Thanks, I guess."

The Overdrive Whips around us faded away and I stood up to brush myself off. Dad walked with us towards the exit.

"Hey, aren't you some kind of 'Quirk God' or whatever? What fuckin' gives with you going all out on us? I don't wanna hear some 'lesson this lesson that' either." Naoki grumbled.

"I was honestly really excited to see how strong you were, Naoki! Especially with a Quirk that's essentially a fusion of Bakugo's and Laura's. You've got a bit to work on, that much is certain, but you're a natural just like your Father! You had me on the ropes there with that giant phoenix thing!" Dad explained.

Naoki smirked as he crossed his arms, "Good to know, that just means it won't be long until I can beat you."

"I'll be waiting, you know where to find me, Naoki." He smiled.

Naoki walked ahead of us back towards the P.E. Grounds, I stood at the exit, Dad looked back at me.

"Is everything alright, Mabel?" Dad wondered.

"Y-Yeah... I... Could you teach me Infinite Mode?!" I chirped.

"M-Mabel, it's not just something I can teach you! It kinda just... Happens? I guess?" He answered.

"Wait, you never learned it? So how exactly did you get to that level?" I asked.

He motioned me over, "It's a bit of a long story, I'll tell you when we get home, alright?"

[One Hour Later...]

"Alright, so, only 4 of you have managed to fail both parts of the exam. Luckily for you, you'll be able to make that up during our trip to the Beast's Forest. Those that have- Yes... Inazuma, what's your question?" Mr. Aizawa told us.

"The Beast's Forest isn't actually haunted by ghosts and monsters, is it?" He fretted.

Mr. Aizawa gave him a tired, blank stare.

"I'm going to pretend that you didn't have the audacity to ask me such an irrational question. Anyways, Saizaki, Inazuma, Yamashiro and Zakaza, you'll be taking extra training classes. Remember to stock up on necessary things for this trip, we won't be coming back for quite a while, this summer camp is designed to train your Quirks to the fullest, Class 1-B will also be attending." He continued.

Ms. Kaoru dismissed us from class, I couldn't wait to improve my Quirk! I quickly made my way out of school to head home, whatever Dad was gonna tell me, I'm sure it'd help me reach Infinite Mode!

[10 Minutes Later...]

I entered the house and saw Ashi standing in a near squat with his arms at his sides, they were slightly lowered as his elbowed arched. His eyes met my rather confused eyes as we stared at each other. He puffed his cheeks out before lowering his eyebrows.

"You didn't give me a goodbye huggy today!" Ashi pouted.

"Did you really want me to wake you up at almost 8:00 in the morning?" I questioned.

He stayed quiet for a few seconds, "No."

Luna came downstairs in one of Dad's t-shirts and in nothing but her underwear. She rubbed her eyes before yawning.

"Hey, kiddo, nice to see that you're home from school." She groggily smiled.

"Have you really been asleep all day?" I giggled.

"Yeah, that kid's a sleeping machine, I love 'em!" She responded.

Ashi looked up at me and nodded, "Yeah huh! She has to-go pillows just like you and Mama do!"

"Wonderful observation, Ashi..." I sighed.

"Yeah!" He cheered.

I went upstairs to my room to change into something more comfortable. Hopefully this training camp helps improve One For All as well!
