Bestowing Power Once More?

The news spread like wildfire that Shigaraki attacked our home. My Mother and my Father alongside the other members of The Symbols of Peace had attended quite a few press conferences due to his assault.

"Mabel! Are you okay? We heard about what happened to you, that must've been scary!" Uchima fretted.

"Yeah, I'm okay, I'm still kind of shaken up from all of it though." I told her.

"No doubt, I don't blame you one bit, girl." Saizaki added.

This entire school day was going to be difficult, especially with everything that I had on my mind. As hard as I tried, I just couldn't focus, all of that malice he had in him... It wasn't like anything I've ever felt before. Thankfully, we weren't going to do anything extravagant today, so I could relax somewhat.

[2 Hours Later...]

The door slid open, Ms. Kaoru looked to see who it was, they beckoned her over from what it looked like. She got up and walked outside of the classroom. After a short while, she entered the room and walked over to me. She tapped me on the shoulder instead of saying something to me, I got up from my seat to head out of the room, I could already tell who was waiting for me outside. I walked out and slid the door shut behind me.

"Naoki knows about One For All." I told him.

"That I know, Kacchan already told me everything, his son asked him about it. I don't blame him one bit for telling his son the truth. I'm just glad you're alright, surviving an attack from someone like him, that's definitely remarkable!" Deku replied.

"Right... By the way, you weren't picking favorites, were you?" I asked.

"If I was, I would've given Ishimoto my power, did Naoki ask you that?" He answered.

I nodded at him, "Yeah, he did. After everything he told me, I thought about giving him One For All. But I didn't want him to get caught in the crossfire with that Shigaraki guy. Now that I'm thinking about it, after what happened to me a couple days ago, I don't know if Naoki would've survived that attack."

We walked to the teacher's lounge to chat some more.

*ALYX'S P.O.V.*

"You want us to what? Help out the very place you said put you through mental hell? Seriously?" Toya wondered.

"Not necessarily, I just need you to check in from time to time, make sure things aren't going shitty like they were for me. I understand that your daughter also attends U.A., Himiko?" I replied.

She sat forward with her hands clasped, "Yeah, Kotake's in the same class as your daughter. I've got no problem with checkin' in on my little bundle of joy! And you need to be an Uncle, Toya."

"Yeah, yeah, I heard you. I guess I could use them as an excuse to snoop around a bit. This whole thing's about them doing those tests on your own daughter, right?" Toya sighed.

"That'd be correct. I told Mabel to tell me if anything strange starts happening. Trust me, I could take on those four geezers with both my hands tied behind my back, blindfolded, and deaf at the same time." I chuckled.

Toga pointed towards my fries, "Are you gonna finish those?"

"No, feel free to have them." I told her.

Toya rested his cheek on his hand and smirked, "We won't let shit happen to her. We'll keep an eye out on things, if you feel like starting the League of Villains up again, let us know."

"Yeah, and I'll let you guys know when I plan on taking over the world, too." I joked.

*MABEL'S P.O.V.*

I sat down on the chair in front of the couch Deku normally sits at. He looked over towards the door and nodded.

"I'd like you to meet someone, Mabel. I'm sure they'll be able to give you some answers as well." He informed me.

The door slid open, a older man entered the room, he was rather tall and slightly muscular.

"Young Midoriya, glad to see you're doing well." He smiled.

"Mabel, this is All Might, the one who gave me the power you have now." He introduced him.

He waved at me, "Please, just call me Toshinori. It's a pleasure to meet you, Young Leonidus."

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Mr. Toshinori!" I stood up and bowed.

"So, you're wondering about those people you saw? Those were the previous holders of One For All. Young Midoriya here was able to harness their Quirks through it, which to be quite honest, it was rather surprising! Although there's one thing I'm unsure of, I'm not sure if you'll keep those Quirks or not." He continued.

I sat back down, those six silhouettes I saw, would I get their Quirks like Deku? Nana Shimura did mention that they would be helping me along the way. Toshinori walked over and sat down next to Deku.

"I guess the one thing I'm worried about is Shigaraki. How would we even defeat him?" I wondered.

"I'm not quite sure, ever since he attacked you at your home, he's not made a single peep. Your Dad told us that he sent out a clone, which confirms our suspicion that he's gotten a hold of more Quirks. How many, it's hard telling, maybe dozens? It's going to take quite a bit of research to figure out." Deku responded.

"That's what I was afraid of, him surviving that attack your Father launched against him in Jaku City, that gave him the opportunity to harness more abilities and grow stronger with All For One." Toshinori added.

I sat forward a bit, "That just means I'll have to get stronger before he acts on whatever desire he has. If it has to come down to it, I won't hesitate to kill him either."

Toshinori smiled at me, I asked them a couple more things before returning back to class. Deku wasn't entirely sure when I was going to expect the other users of One For All to help me out.

[Several Hours Later...]

Once I got home from school, Mom let me change out of my school uniform, she was going to take Ashi and I with her to finish her grocery shopping. As we followed behind Mom, Ashi tugged on my shirt.

"Mabel, can you ask Mama if we can get ice cream?" He whispered.

"Why can't you ask her?" I wondered.

He looked at Mom, "Papa told me that Mama was a scary woman! Is that true?"

"Your Father told you what, Ashi?" Mom chimed in.

"Yeah! That's what he told me! Also, can we get ice cream?" Ashi bubbled.

"Of course! I've got to make a phone call anyway, we can stop for ice cream once we're done, okay?" Mom smiled.

Ashi grinned with glee, he stared bouncing up and down, my phone began to ring while he was still in his excitement.

"Hey, Ishi, what's up?" I picked up.

"H-Hey, Mabel, are you busy?" He asked.

"I'm currently out with my Mother at the moment. Was there something you needed?" I answered.

"No, I was just... I was wanting to talk about something. Do you think you could stop by my house after you're done?" Ishimoto told me.

I looked over at Mom, she nodded at me without me having to ask her, "I can stop over right now if you'd like."

"O-Okay! Sounds like a plan! See you soon!" He replied.

We hung up, I told Mom where I was going and took off towards Ishimoto's house.

[5 Minutes Later...]

I rang his doorbell, Ishimoto quickly came to the door, he had a rather surprised look on his face.

"That was quick." He remarked.

"Well, my Overdrive Quirk doesn't exactly make me slow!" I giggled.

He let me inside and we sat down in his living room. Whatever Ishimoto wanted to talk about, I had a hunch that I knew what it was already.

"So... My Dad told me that he gave you his Quirk. He was looking for a successor, don't worry, I'm not upset by it. Honestly, I don't know if I would be able to handle it like you or someone like Naoki would. It honestly sounds kind of scary." Ishimoto spoke up.

"To be honest with you, it kind of is scary, especially with a super criminal looking to take it away from you. I've never felt so much hatred and evil come off of someone until I saw him. Also, about Naoki... I almost gave him One For All. He knows about it as well, his Father told him everything he needed to know about it. We talked about it right before Shigaraki attacked me." I confessed.

"Oh... So he knows too? Does anyone know besides our parents?" He responded.

I nodded at him, "Yes, Deku told me that Mr. Aizawa and Nurse Eri know about it, that's about it though."

We sat there in silence for a bit, I couldn't imagine the amount of stress our parents were going through right now. Especially Deku, what happens when he's unable to use One For All?

"Mabel... Are... Are you scared?" Ishimoto broke the silence.

"Yeah, I am." I confirmed.

He placed his hand on top of mine, it kind of took me by surprise, I looked over to see him still looking forward.

"I won't be scared of fighting anymore, if that's the case. I want to get as strong as you are." He told me.

Instead of punching him in the gut, I gave him a hug. I saw him flinch out of the corner of my eye. I guess he didn't expect me to give him a hug.

"Thank you, Ishi." I spoke softly.

"M-Mabel... Y-You're squeezing me..." He croaked.

I didn't realize that I subconsciously activated One For All after what he told me! I stopped hugging him and he took a deep breath in.

"Sorry, I didn't realize that my Quirk was active!" I laughed.

He picked up his notebook off of the coffee table, "Speaking of Quirks, I've been drawing up ideas for your hero costume. You know, like, adjusting your costume to help support One For All. I've gotten a couple ideas drawn up, but nothing too crazy."

Ishimoto opened up his notebook and showed me his drawings. It consisted of improved leg guards and some sort of arm bands that, in theory, will allow me to use 100% of my power in my arms. He's quite the artist I'd have to say!

"Hmm... Perhaps we could take this to Uchima's Mother to see if she can't help us out with it." I suggested.

"Yeah, we can do that! Are you free tomorrow? I can ask Dad and see if he can't talk to Ingenium about it." Ishimoto nodded.

I left Ishimoto's house after we talked a bit more about his ideas. I returned to my Mother and Ashi, it looked like they hadn't left the spot they were in once I left.

"Oh, you guys didn't get ice cream yet?" I asked.

"No, Ashi insisted on waiting for you to return before we went inside." Mom told me.

Ashi nodded and smiled eagerly as he held my hand. We went inside the shop and got our ice cream, at a rather nice discount might I add! Mom took a napkin and wiped off Ashi's face as he finally looked up from his ice cream.

"Goodness, you remind me of your Father when he was younger! He was quite the messy eater." Mom giggled.

"Really? Hey, Mama, how did you and Papa meet?" Ashi wondered.

"Oh, he just got off of a plane from America. I was attacked by a villain with a Gigantification Quirk and he swooped in to save me! Although I'd imagine he would've gotten a hefty fine for it. We went through quite a few adventures together, if I told you, we'd be here for weeks!" She explained.

Once our ice cream trip was over, we headed back home with the groceries we collected. We got back home after a while, once I entered the house, the first thing I heard was Dad's awful snoring! He was passed out on the couch with the TV on. I went upstairs to my room now that I could finally relax. Everything's been so surreal now, and this year just started! I have so much to learn before Shigaraki decides to start some sort of uprising!
