A Visit From The Past? Team Leonidus Vs. Team Togata!

I couldn't sleep at all, something was bothering me, but I wasn't sure what it was. I sat up in my bed and heard a tapping on my window. I looked over to find a woman staring in, I was startled just a bit, although something told me that she wasn't a threat. I blinked then found myself standing in an all black room, light shined down on the woman, I couldn't move or speak at all.

"Mabel Leonidus, it's a pleasure to finally meet you." She smiled.

The woman walked over to me and waved her hand over my face. I was finally able to move my mouth, now if I could speak, that was a different question.

"My name is Nana Shimura, the seventh user of One For All, Izuku Midoriya really picked a worthy successor in you. You've got quite the road ahead, Mabel." Nana continued.

"He told me, I'm honestly kind of worried about it, Deku mentioned that I might be the last person to wield this power. D-Does... Does that mean I'm going to die soon?" I fretted.

She chuckled and put her hand on my head, "Oh, no! That's just an assumption, Toshinori's lived this long, it's a bit of a lie that One For All users die at young ages. It's rather just mere coincidence, you won't be alone on this journey either."

Five other silhouettes illuminated behind her, their different colored glowing eyes stared at me. I couldn't make out any of their faces neither what they looked like.

"You'll hear from us again soon, good luck, Mabel Leonidus." Nana smiled once more.

Before I could say anything else, I shot awake as the area around me exploded! I looked down at my glowing arms and legs. My light turned on as Mom rushed into my room.

"Mabel, what's going on? Is everything alright?" Mom asked.

"Yeah... I'm okay, I just had a weird dream, that's all." I responded.

"Goodness me, it looks as if Bakugo was in here!" She noted.

Dad made his way into the room, he took one look at the mess, then he sighed.

"Good grief..." He muttered.

[The Next Day...]

"Pencils down everyone! We've got a special activity planned for you all!" Ms. Setsuko chirped.

We all stopped what we were doing, the classroom door entered and Lemillion slid into the room with glee.

"Alllright everyone! It's time for your Hero Basic Training class! You're hero costumes that you've designed before you came to U.A. have been designed already and are in these briefcases assigned to your seat number. Come on, get on up and get ready!" He greeted us.

As we walked out of the classroom, we were given our briefcases by Ms. Kaoru and Lemillion. We made our way to the changing rooms, I was extremely excited to see how my hero costume looked! I opened up my briefcase as I was changing, I couldn't believe my eyes, it practically started to glow as I opened it up! It. Was. Magnificent!

"Mabel, don't you think that costume is gonna be a bit revealing? Is that all there is?" Kokoro wondered.

"Huh? Oh, no! This is just the top of it, I have the bottoms in here as well. It's a sleeveless bodysuit with an exposed back and upper breast area just in case I need to create something large." I explained.

Saizaki marveled at my hero costume, "Ooo, like a cannon or something?"

"Precisely! Not to mention a plethora of things that I can create as well thanks to my studying, not to mention the personal library I have in my room, it's about the size of a small bathroom. I've created quite a bit!" I confirmed.

My hero costume drew inspiration from my Father's and my Mother's hero costumes. It was a light emerald bodysuit with a white lining, the back half of my costume was a rose color. The boots of my hero costume were an emerald color, alongside with the calf pads I wore that matched my hero costume as well. I had a pouch that I could store my Overdrive in on my right side, kudos to my Father for informing me about that one. We all got ready to go, all of us left the locker room shortly before the boys did. As I was walking, I looked to my right and saw Ishimoto, his hero costume looked really cool! I would've figured that he would've had a similar costume to his Mother, but it looked completely made from his imagination.

"Wow, that's a rather interesting design choice, Ishi. Did you draw this out as well?" I asked.

"Yeah, I did! I was kind of stuck on a design for a little bit but I managed to figure it out." He told me.

We met back up with Lemillion, he took all of us back out to where most of us first conducted the Entrance Exam. He stood in front of us and we waited for further instruction.

"Today's gonna be real fun for you guys! So, we'll be conducting an exercise that splits you up into 12 teams, half of you will be heroes, while the other half will be villains. We'll be drawing these lots here to see who you'll be partnered with. The hero team will be trying to stop a nuclear weapon that the villain team will be attempting to launch. Heroes, in order to win, you'll need to either capture the villain team OR if you can reach the weapon before time runs out. Villains, the same applies, except you can't reach the weapon to win. That'd be a little silly!" Lemillion beamed.

The lots were drawn, I was on a team with... I-Ishimoto! We both looked at each other and nervously smiled. The first two teams that were up were Naoki & Kokoro and Chou and Takumo! We went into a nearby building's basement to observe the activity. Ishimoto was scribbling away in his notebook as he stood next to me.

"You're drawing all of us in our hero costumes, aren't you?" I questioned.

"Maaaybe, what's it to you?" He replied.

"I was just wondering if you were getting my good side, that's all." I joked.

He started to blush, "O-Oh... I-Isn't that... All of you?"

My eyes widened and I punched him in the stomach yet again. Lemillion looked over at us with his eyebrow raised.

"Hey, Midoriya, is everything alright?" He chuckled.

"Oh, he's fine! He's got a bit of a stomach cramp, nothing I can't fix!" I lied.

My cheeks were still feeling hot as I healed him again. I helped him up to his feet afterwards. I crossed my arms and puffed my cheeks out a bit as I stared at the screen in front of me.

"Sorry, I... I don't know why I did that." I telepathically told him.

"It's alright... I guess I kind of stepped over a line again, I apologize." He responded.

I looked at him, "No... I-It's fine."

I quickly looked back at the screen before he could say anything to me, although I didn't think he was going to originally. We watched as a couple more teams went through with the activity. Next up was our turn, we were going up against...

"Mitsuri and Takayoshi! You'll be the villain team going up against Mabel and Ishimoto." Lemillion proclaimed.

Ishimoto and I looked at each other, this was gonna be one tough match, I could already tell! We walked out of the building a short bit after Mitsuri and Takayoshi did.

"I still want to apologize for what I said, I shouldn't have said anything, Mabel." Ishimoto apologized.

"Y-You... You don't need to apologize. I got you good yesterday, I guess this was an expected response." I reassured him.

"Oh, okay..." He spoke softly.

I gently punched his shoulder, "Don't be so apologetic all the time, it just caught me off guard, that's all."

His demeanor lightened up, we stood in front of the building and waited for Lemillion's command. We waited for about 5 minutes until we heard his voice over an intercom.

"Alright heroes, head on in! You have 20 minutes to either subdue the villain team or reach the super weapon. Good luck to all of you!" He announced.

We entered the building and were met with a dark corridor, we quietly made our way to the corridor. Ishimoto stopped in his tracks as we made our way up to the second floor.

"Do you hear that?" Ishimoto whispered.

*THIRD PERSON*

"zzzzzOOOOOOOOMMM!!" Mitsuri yelled.

She appeared in front of them, permeating through the wall, Mabel quickly stood in front of Ishimoto and took a headbutt head on from the fast traveling Mitsuri. She rolled off the ground, Ishimoto stood at the ready.

"Get to the weapon, Ishi! Don't worry about me!" Mabel shouted.

Ishimoto stood there for a second before running off. Mabel got up to her feet, Mitsuri was smiling at her.

"Heya! I've got so many things to ask! But first, I wanna see how strong you are! Can ya show me?" She beamed.

"Mitsuri's definitely like her parents, that's for sure..." Mabel thought.

Mabel activated Gear Two and charged towards Mitsuri, Mitsuri narrowly dodged an uppercut from her, retaliating with a single shockwave that sent her flying backwards once more. Mitsuri took off after her, a gust of wind shot of from Mabel's hand, causing her to go off course from her target. Using One For All in one finger, she launched a huge gust of wind! Her right index finger had become broken, she quickly healed it up with her Overdrive.

"D-Damn it... I panicked and used it at 10% in just one finger!" She thought once more.

Mabel took a deep breath in before charging towards Mitsuri, meanwhile, Ishimoto had finally reached the weapon room where Takayoshi was guarding the weapon. He closed his eyes and let out a shaky breath as he hid behind a pillar.

"O-Okay... You... You've got this! Just like Mabel!" He encouraged himself.

He quickly stepped out in front of the pillar and charged towards the weapon. Takayoshi halted him with a huge steel fist, blocking his way towards the weapon, Takayoshi attempted to grab Ishimoto. He sidestepped and floated backwards away from him. Takayoshi charged forward, completely made of steel, the two stopped in their tracks as they heard a rumbling from underneath them.

"That's not you, is it?" Ishimoto fretted.

"I was just wondering the same thing!" Takayoshi replied.

The fight between Mitsuri and Mabel seemingly was coming to a close, Mitsuri had the advantage against Mabel, someone who had never dealt with a Quirk like her's before. Shockwave after permeating shockwave, Mabel refused to go down!

"Wowee-Zowee! You're super tough, Mabel!" Mitsuri bubbled.

"If you... Think... That' I'm gonna... Give up... You're fucking wrong!" Mabel panted.

The nearby walls were dented or demolished completely, both combatant's were beaten up, but Mabel had been the one looking worse for wear! Mitsuri's eyes widened as steam came out of Mabel's mouth, the blood on her face began to turn into brightly lit flames! Her head shot up, revealing her glowing purple eyes. Without hesitating, Mabel entered One For All at 100%! She darted forward towards Mitsuri, breaking her right leg in the process, her right arm reeled back as far as possible.

"No matter what happens, no matter what she launches at me, I have to hit it! If I'm gonna help Ishi out... If we're going to win this... I'll do whatever it takes, even if that means... Putting my body on the line at the same time!" Mabel thought to herself.

A fierce look appeared in Mabel's eyes that Mitsuri didn't expect to see! She quickly enveloped herself with her Permeating Shockwaves right as Mabel launched a devastating uppercut at her! The gust of wind that followed completely launched the upper floors into the sky, Ishimoto yelped as he was sent flying forward from the gust of wind. He opened his eyes and saw that he was heading right for the weapon!

"Alright! Thanks, Mabel!" He smiled.

He reached the weapon but nearly knocked it over! He held onto it tightly as the rest of the class was speechless at what they just watched. Mirio slowly leaned forward into his earpiece.

"W-Well... The hero team has won! Congrats you guys!" He exulted.

Mitsuri landed back down on the ground as her waves disappeared. Mabel's body trembled as she coughed up blood, Mitsuri caught her as she fell forward.

"That wasn't her Overdrive... What was that?" She wondered.

Her head perked up as she heard Ishimoto come towards her. Right before he said anything, she put her finger up to silence him.

"Where's Takayoshi?" Mitsuri asked.

They looked towards the gigantic holes in the floor, "AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!"

Takayoshi came flying down from the sky and crashed into the floor. Thankfully, he was still using his Quirk, he gave both of them a thumbs up as he quickly sat up.

"That was freakin' awesome! Can we do that again?" He grinned.

Soon, Eri and Rei came in to assess the damage. Mabel was loaded up on a stretcher to head toward Eri's office.

"W-Will she be okay?" Ishimoto fretted.

"She'll be alright, I'll administer treatment once she wakes up, she needs to rest for now. Did she do this?" Eri inquired.

Mitsuri nodded at her, "Yeah huh! It was super crazy! I never realized that she was that strong!"

Eri smiled at Mitsuri's child-like excitement, she followed the other staff members out of the building, Naoki stared at the screen with his eyebrows furrowed.

"What in the hell was that? That violet aura wasn't around her when she launched that attack. Just what was that... Mabel?" He thought.

[Several Hours Later...]

*LEONIDUS P.O.V.*

I began to wake up, a nice, cool wind surrounded me. I tried to sit up but my body was in excruciating pain, I guess using One For All at 100% wasn't a great idea. Nurse Eri turned around and smiled as she walked towards me.

"Hey, kiddo, you had quite the day from what I've seen." She slightly laughed.

"Y-Yeah, you can say that again." I giggled.

She used her Rewind Quirk to patch me up, in a few seconds, I was as good as new! The office door opened and Deku walked into the room.

"Well, how many bones has she broken, Eri?" He joked.

"None now, but let's hope that she's not a frequent guest like you were!" Eri laughed.

I got off of the bed, at least I didn't have to worry about wearing a cast on my arm or my leg. Deku followed me out of the room as I thanked Nurse Eri for healing me.

"So, does anyone know about this?" I asked.

"The only people that know besides us are your Mother and Father, Ochako, Kacchan, Todoroki, Eri, Aizawa, Lemillion, and Ishimoto. Ishimoto doesn't know that I've given One For All to you, however." He informed me.

I looked down at the ground, "Oh, alright. I haven't told anyone but I figured I'd ask you first."

We walked to Class 1-A, I entered the room by myself and was met with the faces of everyone else.

"Mabel, you're alright! That was awesome! How'd you do that?" Wazu chirped.

"Yeah, that was come crazy shit, pretty cool if you ask me." Arai added.

"W-Well, I've gotten some techniques with my Overdrive that I've been working on. They're still a work in progress, of course." I told them.

As we all packed up our things, I couldn't shake the feeling of someone staring at me. Or well, glaring at me, as I saw Naoki side-eyeing me as he packed his things to leave. Naoki walked by me the entire time we were leaving U.A., he grabbed my shoulder once we were outside, he didn't say anything until everyone was far enough away.

"I want you to tell me, what in the hell did you do today, Mabel?" He questioned.

"Are you referring to what happened during the exercise today? Like I said, I've been developing techniques for my Overdrive. It's as simple as that, Naoki." I answered.

He began to walk away from me, "If that's the case, then where was that violet aura of yours?"

Oh shit... I didn't realize that! I'm sure Naoki would know that there would be no possible way I could've done that with a sliver of my Overdrive, even I can recognize that! I didn't face him as he continued to walk away, he was starting to suspect something, but at least it wasn't that obvious. For all he knows, it could've actually been my Overdrive Quirk, or perhaps even my Creation.

[35 Minutes Later...]

As soon as I got home, and once I ate dinner, I had to come up with some way to make Naoki not suspect anything. I wasn't sure what I could tell him, I'm sure he was sitting in his room looking up things that he could compare what I did today to. One thing was for certain, I needed to keep practicing with One For All, 10% isn't going to cut it in the long run. That was the question however, what exactly would I need to do to raise that limiter? I channeled it at 10% as I stood in my room, I closed my eyes and took deep breaths in and out. I relaxed my body as I felt it surged throughout me. From what Deku told me, I needed to concentrate it on just more than my arms and legs.

My breathing became shakier as I felt my muscles twitch, that cold sensation worked it's way up my body, toward my head. I clenched my fists tightly as the cold sensation finally spread throughout my body, I opened my eyes and looked down at my arms, violet colored sparks surrounded my body. I'm not sure why, but it didn't feel like I did a whole lot of anything. I deactivated One For All and plopped down onto my bed, this stuff was rather difficult. I guess he was right, this wasn't something I was going to master in a single day, let alone a couple weeks. Maybe Ishimoto would have some insight on this whole thing?
