My Visit To Meet A Lawyer That I Kept Secret

"Akira Martinez," the ginger haired male called out. "Right here." Akira answered. She then got up and followed the man who looked to be probably in his mid-20's to an office that was close in resemblance to the one her father worked in when he was still alive. "Ms. Martinez, Mrs.Darkson is ready for you to go in." the young man said taking her out of her reverie. "Of course." she walked in to seeing a woman who was probably in her 40 or 50's.

"Don't be scared take a seat." the woman said typing away at her computer. "Okay." Akira sat down waiting for the woman in front of her to say something. "So what are we here for today?" the lady says as she looks at Akira for a brief moment. "I am here because I wanted to make a will so when or if I die my child gets all my money,". Akira started, " and also so that even if my child does marry none of the money will be under the spouse of choice but can go to the kids if and when they are wanting to." Akira looked at the lady after saying her piece seeing as she was still typing away at her computer.

"So you want the money you made to go to your children? How considerate." She said as she typed some final sentences. "But Ms..." She paused for a second waiting for Akira to say something. "You can call me Akira." She said calmly. "Akira... As I'm drawing this will of yours up do you want to put any other assets in your will?" She asked immediately getting a response.

"Yes I do." Akira started, "I want to put the house I have in my name to child." As Akira spoke while Mrs. Darkson wrote out the will. "Alright Akira here is your legal will I just need you to sign here and then you are free to take it home with you." Akira read her will over and sighed hating how she will never be able to meet her kid or see them grow up. "Thank you again Ms. Darkson" Akira got up and left her office and headed outside to be greeted by none other than her husband.

"What are you doing here Darian?" Akira asked. "I was going to ask you the same thing Akira." They stared at each other for a second before Akira broke it due to how awkward she felt. "I was meeting up with a girlfriend." She said squirming slightly. Darian looked at her quizzically. "At a law firm?" He said looking at her and the building. "Yeah she's a lawyer. Do you have a problem with that?" She poked at his chest with sass, which made him laugh loudly.

She looked at him confused. "You're adorable you know that right?" He said making her pale cheeks turn bright red. "I'm not adorable." Akira pouted. "Okay whatever you believe." He said making her realize she didn't know why he was here. "Darian you never answered my question earlier." She said as he cleared his throat. "Right I uh came here to pick you up since I was notified that you came here. " Darian said cheeks turning slightly pink.

"Oh okay then let's go." She said walking to the passenger side door. "Akira wait." She paused for a second only for Darian to open the door for her. "Oh uh thank you." She said getting in the car. He nodded as they went to the house after he got in it.
