Alex didn't reply immediately. The shock he was going through was enough to make him silent. The fact that he didn't have a clue how the elf knew what he was saying contributed to Alex's silence. But most of all, the young elf didn't know if it was wise to answer anything.
After what seemed to be one minute of utter silence, Kael'Talar broke it with a laugh.
"You don't need to say anything; I'm just congratulating you." Alex felt one part of the weight lift from his back as he breathed deeply. He had to play this game.
"Thanks. But I was hiding nothing. It was just pure strength. Ask one of your goons. I gave him a punch, much similar to the one I gave to the orc today."
"Indeed, indeed," Kael replied. Alex couldn't see his enemy, but he knew the mob boss was smirking in his direction. "My poor friend is still not talking, you know."
"I didn't know, but I'm glad," Alex said, and the other elf smiled once more.
