The calmness before the storm
Draies is now fully prepared to go on a mission; he has completed all the necessary training given by his master Alulae.
He has learned some new skills and polished his old skills as well. As insurance, he has also adapted beginner-level sword skills.
Just when he finished his last lesson Yang Azu entered their mansion with some of his apprentices.
Seeing him Draies stopped him and asked "Where are you going?"
He replied, "To meet your father, we have to discuss about something real quick".
Listening to his words Draies looked at his apprentices once again and said "My father isn't feeling well today so he is taking a nap now, if you really want to talk to him today you guys have to wait".
Hearing his words Yang said, "Ok, then show us the way to the waiting room we will be waiting there for him".
Draies understood that the matter is very serious so he showed him the way to the room and informed his father about it.
Hearing the news his father called Yang to his room; Yang went there without his apprentices.
Draies, his mom, and some other officials were present there in the room.
Entering the room he bowed his head and paid his respect to the Head priest Francis.
Francis told him to sit so he sat on a chair kept near the door and looked at the room carefully and said "Oh! You have put a good number of barriers in this room".
"Yeah, offensive and defensive barriers are all around this room," said Draies, smirking.
"The offensive and defensive barriers are quite high level but the one cast around the Head priest is the most difficult and dangerous one, if I am not mistaken it's the 'Forbidia' barrier, saying that he asked, "Am I right Draies?"
Draies now understand why he is the Archpriest, he sure knows his stuff.
Draies replied, "As I expected of the renowned Archpriest Yang Azu".
"Thanks for the compliment Draies, I will not ask you why you cast such a strong barrier like that around him anyway Francis I have come to discuss about the dark aura so please lend me your ears for some time," said Azu with a serious look in his eyes.
Judging him by the weight of his words and seriousness he allowed him to talk.
Getting the permission he opened his mouth and said "Our King Hugo Rose has decided to send some adventurers in the Azaria dungeon to search for the origin of the aura and to stop it from spreading and by judging the aura I am quite sure that this is the work of the Demonic Church so I think it would be better for us to send our elite group 'Executous' into the dungeon with other parties".
Saying that he asked, "What is your thought on it, Francis?"
He replied, "Ok I will think about it and will tell you before dawn".
Hearing his words Yang lowered his head and left from there.
Draies looked at his father as soon as Yang stepped outside. His father looked at him with a smile and said to tell Aboulas to get ready.
Hearing his father's words he was just too happy, he will now be able to go on his first mission as a member of the Church.
Even though he once hated the Church, now he sees it as a chance to change the disbelief of the Church.
He wants to lead the people to get closer to god. If he becomes the Head Priest he will get the Chance to tell about his belief to the people and will try to change their mindsets in order to feel the real presence of the god.
So hearing his father's word he runs from there to tell Aboulas the news.
On the other side, The Twin Horns are now having a feast to celebrate their reunion.
Everyone was present there except Lara. She still hasn't recovered from the shock.
Everyone is drinking beer and eating delicious dishes made by super special Chief Quinella.
She has prepared a lot of new dishes for the party. She has prepared her special mixed meat bowl; it has the meat of different animals like Chicken, beef, deer, etc.
In order to make it you have to gather all the spices and the meats in a bowl and then have to mix it real nice after mixing you need to add salt in it and then have to pour some BBQ sauce in it and have to shake it till it sucks the sauce.
After that, you can let it cook at a low temperature and when it becomes brown just spread some cheese on it and enjoy.
I am sure you guys are dying to try it but control cause we will now go back into the story.
When everyone was enjoying her mixed meat bowl Lara comes from nowhere and grabbed Quinella's apron and said "I am hungry".
Hearing her words Quinella gave her a bowl of Ramen and mixed meat and told her to eat slowly.
Looking at all that nice food she picked up her fork and started eating.
Just after her first bite of the mixed meat bowl, she screamed "What is this? It's just unexplainably delicious".
Saying that she didn't hold back and started eating like a gorilla.
Seeing her eating like that everyone grabbed their stomach which was aching cause of their over laugh.
Seeing them laughing like that Lara started talking with a lot of meat in her mouth but nobody understood her words cause it was sounding like "Who..t oru souingg".
Her non-understandable words just gave fuel to their laugh cause after that Gilbert and Trivut left from there saying that "They can't laugh more, their stomach is gonna rip if they laugh more than a minute" saying that they both went somewhere.
While Chris and Itami were dancing and getting drunk. Seeing them Harold who sat on a mat in a corner sighs and says "Look at them, they have no tension even though they are gonna kill all those peoples they are calm as fuck and moreover they are enjoying their drinks".
He didn't notice that but Quinella was standing behind him and listening to his words she placed her hand on his shoulder and said "Maybe this is the calmness before a storm".
Hearing her words Harold was startled and was going to say something but she touched his lips and smiled.
Seeing her smile he understood that doubting them again will cost his life so he just chuckled and put the spoon in his ramen.
That day everyone was drunk except Quinella. It's not like that she didn't drink at all but she can hold her liquor.
In the morning everyone wakes up at random places Gilbert wakes up in the washroom and Trivut wakes up in the garden.
Itami and Chris were sleeping on the roof and Lara was in the garden while Harold was in the Kitchen.
Quinella woke up before everyone and prepared lemonade for everyone. It will make them feel better.
Harold woke up and saw Quinella making morning breakfast so he said "Good morning" and went to the washroom but Gilbert was there but he didn't see him cause he was sleeping in the bathtub.
Harold pulled his pant and sat on the toilet to dump but suddenly he heard some noise, at first, he thought that it is some evil spirit so he was kinda afraid he was hurrying to finish his job but suddenly Gilbert pulled the cloth covering the bathtub and sees Harold.
Seeing him dumping he pulled the cloth back and freaked out cause it was a really awkward moment.
Seeing Gilbert, Harold pulled out the toilet paper, cleaned his butt, and got out of there like nothing happened.
Itami and Chris were going through there and by seeing Harold they greeted him but that's when Gilbert comes out of the bathroom.
Seeing him they made a weird face and seeing that he asked "Why are you making such a weird face?"
"Cause you are gay" they replied while showing their disappointment.
Hearing their words Harold looked back and said "No you guys are getting the wrong Idea".
"Are we?" they replied while smiling.
"You guys are getting the wrong idea, Actually I fell asleep in the bathtub and when I opened my eyes I saw Harold dumping, I am sure that he didn't notice me since the cloth was covering the bathtub," said Gilbert to clear the confusion.
Just when Gilbert finished his words Quinella called them to eat and everyone left the matter there and went to eat.
Everyone has gathered at the table to eat their breakfast. The breakfast isn't fancy today; it's just cereal and some fruits.
Just when everyone was eating Gilbert touched his head and looked at Itami and said "I need you to come with me."
Hearing the words Chris looked at him and asked "Why?"
He replied, "There is a reason for it and I need you as well, the dungeon is waiting for us". (To be continued)
