Reunion 

Itami didn't notice it before but when he said those words Harold was standing outside the door and was hearing everything.

Hearing Itami's words he couldn't stay hidden so he stepped inside the room and asked "What are you doing Itami? Didn't you want to give salvation to everyone, wasn't it your dream to teach people the true meaning of being a human?"

Itami and Chris were startled by his sudden appearance but looking at him that feeling faded away.

Chris asked him "Why are you here? Were you eavesdropping?"

He didn't reply to anything and moreover, he completely avoided him and his question.

He slowly walked to Itami and bowed down and asked "Why are you doing this? What is your motive?"

Hearing his question and by looking at his face filled with a lot of questions Itami answered: "My motive is what I told you before, I will bring salvation to mankind but those who keep evil in their heart can't be saved and for them, there is only one salvation and that is death, only death can uproot that evilness from their heart".

Hearing his answer Harold wiped his tears and asked "So are you trying to say that, you will choose who gets salvation and who will not?"

"You don't understand his words," said Chris in response to his question.

But again Harold ignored his words and said "I am asking my master not you so will you shut your mouth for a second".

Looking at the seriousness in his words and eyes Itami said "Let me tell you clearly for the first and last time I will not choose myself instead I will make them go through a test and those who will pass the test will be allowed to taste the mesmerizing sweet taste of salvation".

Saying that he placed his hand on his shoulder and asked "Do you still have any questions?"

He had a lot of questions going through his mind but by judging Itami's aura he isn't in a good mood so it would be better for him to leave now so he said "No" and left from there.

Just when he was about to step outside Chris looked at him with a strong bloodlust and said "You should be grateful that you are my friend's one of the favorite person, if you were just a normal person without any usefulness to Itami your head would have been rolling on the floor".

Saying that Chris showed him the way to exit. Harold didn't say anything in return, he is now going through the most difficult and confusing time of his life where he doesn't know what is right and what is wrong and what should he do.

Just when the situation wasn't looking that good Quinella entered the room and said "Twin Horns are coming here".

Hearing the news Chris touched his lips and said in his mind "Why are they coming here all of a sudden, is it related to the dark aura".

Meanwhile Itami said Quinella to make some tea and said "Bye" to Shu and went ahead to receive them.

Seeing Itami getting busy he cut the call and went to the kitchen to grab his breakfast.

On the other side getting out of the carriage they are having a hard time finding the right route.

Just when they were thinking of abandoning hope Itami appeared in front of them as an angel.

Seeing him Trivut hugged him and started crying out of joy and said "We thought that we will never make it to your home".

Hearing her words Itami replied with a sweet smile "It just feels good to see you here".

Trivut was sticked to Itami like a lizard so Gilbert tries to remove Trivut from Itami's body and after a while he succeeded.

Removing her from Itami's body he apologized and asked him to lead the way.

He excitingly led the way. He didn't notice Lara at all cause she was hiding behind the guards like a coward for no reason.

They only bought 2 guards with them as the place should remain a secret to others.

Anyway by getting Itami's help they reached the house finally.

Chris was already waiting for them at the gate. Seeing him Lara ran toward him without thinking anything and seeing her running like that he couldn't do anything except for getting a tight hug.

Seeing Lara hugging Chris like that Quinella puts down the tea tray and touches Chris's back.

That wasn't just a normal touch; the touch was consisted of anger and jealousy.

Feeling her wrath Chris slightly pushed Lara and backed off.

Seeing Chris acting like that some tears was falling down from her eyes.

Even though Chris notices that he tries to ignore it and goes to meet Gilbert and Trivut.

Getting ignored like that the tears were just falling out of her eyes like water falls from the tap.

Seeing her crying like that Quinella holds her and shows her the way to the washroom.

Seeing Chris, Gilbert shook his hand and gives him a brother hug, and just when he was giving his brother-like friend a hug Trivut interrupted and jumped on them.

They all fall on the grass as Trivut jumps on but they weren't angry or annoyed instead they were all laughing and smiling.

Seeing them smiling like that Itami sighs and says "It would have been great if they could all just smile like that forever".

After getting a hug from everyone Chris and others entered the house.

A cup of hot tea was waiting for them on the table. They put their jacket on the hanger and grabbed the cup of tea and seats on the sofa comfortably.

Itami and Chris also seats with them. Gilbert asks them "How's the day going?" as he was enjoying a cup of hot tea.

"It was going great as long as you showed your face" replied Chris.

Hearing the answer Gilbert smiled and said "Your habit of joking around didn't change".

"Yeah this habit will not be changed as long as I live" replied Chris while smirking.

"Where is Lara?" asked Trivut out of nowhere.

Looking around for a sec Chris replied "She must be somewhere with Quinella".

In his mind, he was saying "I am sure she must be crying in a corner, what a crybaby".

Meanwhile, Lara was actually crying out to her heart's content. Getting ignored by the person who had a crush on her is kinda cruel.

Quinella was waiting for her outside the washroom but hearing his crying she said "You know you shouldn't waste your valuable tears on someone that you don't love".

Hearing her advice Lara snapped and said while screaming "What do you know about me? Nothing at all, this world knows nothing about me, it will never know my sufferings" saying that she was crying constantly.

The sound of her crying was annoying so Quinella opened her mouth and said "If you don't tell anything about yourself then let alone the world even we will not understand you and your sufferings" saying that she left a towel in front of the door and left from there.

Gilbert and others are gossiping right now and enjoying snacks, that's when Trivut asked Chris "Why the route of your home is so difficult? It's like a maze".

Hearing her question Chris was going to say something but Quinella answered the question "I have cast an illusion there and cause of that you were wandering like that".

Hearing the answer Gilbert asked "Oh! That's a great skill by the way what kind of magician are you?"

Hearing his question Trivut laughed and said "Didn't you figure that out yet?"

"What do you mean?" asked Chris and Gilbert at the same time.

"Well, it's kinda obvious that she is a witch" replied Trivut with a straight face.

Hearing her words Gilbert gives a bite in a biscuit and said "Oh! That's so, it's great then".

Seeing him not getting flustered at all Quinella and others were shocked.

To know the reason Quinella asked, "Aren't you gonna ask me how's that possible?"

"No, not at all 'cause it's not my concern what are you until you try to harm the kingdom" replied Gilbert with a serious look.

"You sure take things easy," says Itami hearing his words.

"No it's just that I only take things seriously when the matter is exactly serious" replied Gilbert while crossing his hands.

Looking at the confidence on his face Quinella asked "Aren't you afraid of us?"

"Why should I" replied Gilbert with an innocent look.

Seeing his innocent look she said, "Don't you know about our deeds and history?"

Gilbert replied, "I know but I don't believe in it, there wasn't any reason for you guys to harm her and her family".

"So you believe that they were framed by someone else," asked Chris.

"Yeah you can say that but there isn't any proof that speaks in their support, alas they are misunderstood by the world," said Gilbert while sighing.

Looking at his sighs some tears fall from Quinella's eyes and in her mind, she said "At last someone believed in us from this world". (To be continued)
