However, amidst this extraordinary reality, there exists a young boy named Jacob who has faced a fate different from his peers. Chapter 32 The Heavens Blessed Me With A New Ability (Chrono-Dreaming)

Frantically, Master Hong raced toward Jacob, attempting to impede his progress. However, his efforts proved futile as Jacob unleashed an ear-piercing scream, transforming the radiant light into a scintillating beam that engulfed the entire room.

Within a fraction of a second, the scintillating beam of light surged forth, consuming the room with its awe-inspiring brilliance. The air crackled with energy as the luminous cascade defied the laws of nature, emanating an otherworldly power that seemed to transcend comprehension.

Master Hong, his face etched with a mix of astonishment and concern, abruptly halted his desperate charge.

Fear flickered in his eyes as he realized the magnitude of the force Jacob had harnessed. With a somber realization, he recognized the futility of his attempts to impede Jacob's burgeoning capabilities.

As the radiant beam expanded, its ethereal luminescence painted intricate patterns on the walls, illuminating every corner of the chamber. The intense light pulsed in harmony with Jacob's racing heartbeat, echoing the raw determination that propelled him forward.

In the midst of the luminous spectacle,

Visions, fragments of forgotten memories, and profound revelations intertwined, forming a tapestry of enlightenment. His consciousness bridged the realms of the past and present, unlocking a wellspring of hidden potential within his very being.

Jacob's body trembled with the strain of wielding such extraordinary power, yet an unwavering resolve permeated his every fiber.

He felt an inexplicable connection to the ancient energies contained within the beast crystals as if he had become an instrument through which their dormant might could finally be unleashed.

Outside the chamber, the commotion had drawn the attention of the onlookers. The students, their faces awash with wonderment, watched in awe as the blinding radiance spilled out from beneath the door, casting long, ethereal shadows along the corridor. Rumors of Jacob's unprecedented feat spread like wildfire, filling the monastery with anticipation and trepidation.

Within the room, the scintillating beam gradually subsided, its luminosity waning until only a soft glow remained. Jacob stood at its epicenter, his chest heaving with exertion, yet an indomitable light gleamed in his eyes.

Master Hong approached Jacob, his expression a blend of awe and reverence. The words escaped his lips in a hushed tone, laden with profound respect.

"You have surpassed all expectations, young one. Your journey has taken an unforeseen turn, intertwining with forces beyond our reality itself, despite not being able to forge your weapon, the Heavens have blessed you with a new ability, embrace this gift, for it carries immense responsibility."

"What gift is this?" Jacob inquired.

"Chrono-Dreaming. You connected with your mind so much that you gave it the ability to traverse through time within the realm of dreams," Master Hond explained.

Jacob nodded, He had yet to grasp the full extent of his transformation, but he understood the weight of the path he now treads upon. The past traumas that once plagued him seemed but distant echoes in the wake of the overwhelming power that had surged through him.

Master Hong turned and addressed the rest of the class who were still surprised at what transpired.

"You all can leave now the class is over for today, see you all first thing tomorrow morning."

The students exited the classroom leaving just Jacob and Master Hong in the room.

Master Hong turned back his gaze at Jacob and inquired. "Tell me the last thing you saw."

"I don't know, I just saw flashes of different memories from different times of my life both good and bad," Jacob replied.

"I see! Do you have any past trauma you would like to talk about or any that is still hunting you?"

"Not one that I can remember."

"Ok! If so, I would have to ask you to go take some rest because this power is not something a young fellow like you is supposed to wield, it is beyond your comprehension. You must not speak of this power to anyone, at least not for now."

"Ok, sir!" Jacob replied as he left the weapon room.

As he stepped outside, he saw his two friends Adam and Amp waiting for him just outside the weapon room.

"Hey, bro! Hope you are well," Adam inquired.

"I'm goo.." Jacob was interrupted by Amp before he could complete his statement.

"What was that in there? What kind of power was that you displayed back there?" Amp threw questions at Jacob in an interrogative tune.

"Hey, bro calm down! I don't know what happened back there, I just did as I was told," Jacob added. "That reminds me, the game. Since we finished up early with class, we can go win round three," Jacob suggested.

"Uhmm! It's clear you guys don't know anything about the game." Amp explained. "You see, the game only has two levels a week and it is available only on weekends."

"That's really sad news, I was looking forward to winning level 3 but that's fine," Jacob turned his gaze at Adam and continued. "Hey! I want to speak to you about something important in private.

"Sure!" Adam replied as he followed Jacob.

"See you guys later," Amp said before heading to the other part of the hallway.

Jacob and Adam headed to their room. As they arrived at the room, Jacob quickly locked the door behind them.

"Wassup bro! What did you want to talk about so urgently that you couldn't wait till later?" Adam inquired.

"It's about Dagon. We have to do something about him, he is killing me," Jacob replied in a frustrated tone.

"Wait you mean the demon, Dagon?" Adam asked.

"Yes he is in my head, he makes me do things I do not want to sometimes he just takes control over my body and does whatever he likes," Jacob added.

"In the combat class the other day it was him in control, fighting that vampire the other night it was him in control, and even what happened a few minutes ago in the weapon class was half his fault."

"Well Jacob, I made some research and I have some bad news about Dagon. He is actually using you."
