"Found You”

Two men in well-dressed suits exit from a small cell towards the open area at the distance of which Hannah was standing near her car. Hannah lit a cigarette while looking away. She took support of her car to lean back while she placed the cigarette in between her lips. The two men came near her and Hannah turned to them. She smiled and asked.

"Is it done?" Hannah asked.

"Almost ma'am. But what we are doing is illegal?" one of the man named James said in worry. The other man likes to keep to himself and rarely spoke.

"So?" Hannah asked raising one of her eyebrow in question.

"We can't keep him here any longer" James shared his concern with Hannah.

"Just few more days are needed James and then you can take him to the legal cell and if anything goes wrong then you were not involved. I will take all the blame" Hannah said reminding James and his partner what to do if something goes really wrong. It was the habit of Hannah to keep on reminding herself and to others that anything can go wrong as they were playing on dangerous grounds. Hannah works for a DST (defense secret team). She was a DST agent and she was damn good at her job only because she goes out of the way to complete her missions and solve her cases. Many of her approaches were illegal not only because she love to get involve in dangerous methods but also she hate politics. She did not want to waste her time in unnecessary pleasing of her seniors and others so that she can do her job properly. Hannah knew perfectly well that the kind of real culprit are very influential and they need to be tackled in a special way so that it attract very less attention from the public and the trouble makers of her work.

"That will never happen, ma'am" James looked at his partner while speaking and the partner nodded in James support. Hannah smiled knowing how James admires her. She was glad to know that her juniors and sub-ordinates think so highly of her that they are ready to take up any challenge even trouble for her. That is the kind of trust and support known and earned by very few and Hannah was honored to be one of them.

"I admire your loyalty but save your ass first. I don't want to cause trouble for anyone just because I like to do things in my own way" Hannah said while chuckling.

"We support you not because your ways are different but because they are effective. Legal or not, the ultimate goal is to catch the criminals and stop the crime. That is what we have sworn and we are doing it" James said proudly.

"But not by illegal means!" Hannah said.

"Your means are surely illegal but they never hurt any good man" James said making a very valuable argument.

"But they hurt some men" Hannah said.

"Well, they deserve to get hurt" James said and gave a sly smile.

"Here we have a slight difference of opinion here. They do not deserve to get hurt" Hannah said and James stopped smiling.

"Really?" James asked wondering if he had been saying a very wrong thing altogether.

"They deserve to die" Hannah said. James eyes widened when he saw how serious Hannah was as she was not smiling at all and it did not seem like any other joke even if it was.

"And you are okay with that?" James asked.

"More than okay" Hannah said while putting off her cigarette.

"So what about that one? James asked.

"Which one?" Hannah asked although she knew in her guts what James was referring to but still she intently decided to play dumb as long as she can.

"The only one who remained unpunished? The one whom you let go, the only criminal you let go" James said and he saw how Hannah's eyes shifted when he mentioned this very special case. It was not the first time James was recording the changed behavior of Hannah on the mention of this case or that man.

"Well, he is the black spot on my clean, white sheet. Like a stain… the stain I can't wipe, I can't clean. But I am sure of one thing, it will never happen again. I will never let that happen again. No more criminals are getting away with their crimes unpunished" Hannah said with determination.

"What about the man who did get away?" James asked.

"Never be so sure James. You think he gets away but maybe he did pay for his crimes" Hannah said with a scornful smile.

"Did you made him pay?" James asked and wondered.

"I will rather not answer that. Do you have the file?" Hannah asked for the reason she came there at the first place.

"It is the most we have right now. All the things we could extract from that scumbag but I believe there is more" James said.

"I can give you two days at most and after that he will be sent in official custody" Hannah said.

"Will do that" James said.

"Nice. So I will be taking your leave agents" Hannah said.

"Oh yes, you are leaving to be with your family" James said,

"Yeah, it is holiday time. My brother and my sister-in law are celebrating their five year marriage anniversary and Jonah says it is an achievement so we are having this huge celebration" Hannah said excitedly. The excitement of her going home was reflecting from her face as her eyes sparkled in exhilaration.

"It will be nice for you. You need break" James said happily for Hannah.

"I think it will be fun. Jonah and Gina make such a lovely couple. I mean they emit this nice, pleasant, positive energy which makes me believe in the fairy tales. When I am working I hardly believe in anything good. Our profession can do that but the family affection and love, it drive you towards the positivity and with right people in life, all the bad things just go away real quick" Hannah talked passionately and lovingly about his family. It had been few months since she last saw and met her brother and her best friend as well as her sister-in-law.

"It seems like you have this wonderful family and I hope no bad things come in the way of your family" James said.

"Do not worry about that. As long as I am living, no one can touch or harm my perfect family. Make sure to find some time to come to the party, you both is invited" Hannah said.

"Sure ma'am" James said.

"Okay. Good luck with the guest inside and make sure he leaves on time" Hannah said glancing at the cabin for a second.

"Will do that ma'am" James replied.

Hannah placed the file on the seat besides the driver seat and then drove away.

A man in fancy black luxury suit enters club. He looked around the room filled with drunk, dancing people. The man, Lucian took few steps forward when a heavily drunk girl bumped into him from behind. Lucian turned to look at the girl. The girl was quite young, maybe not at legal age to be allowed to drink in public place but she with her luxury dress, expensive heels and jewelry with perfectly manicured nails, could do anything she want or wish. She was the kind of spoiled papa's princess who does not think of consequences and always making troubles. The girl looked at the man she bumped. Lucian looked at in his later twenties or early thirties which he was but looked only because his matured and experienced look but he was extremely good-looking and attractive. He had a stature of that of a model, and personality of that of playboy but Lucian had these deep dark eyes which attracted girl the most. As girl was very drunk, she kept on blinking repeatedly only to look at Lucian carefully.

Lucian smiled on girl's actions. She looked funny to him. Lucian smile made the girl smile broadly and giggle stupidly due to alcohol.

"You have beautiful eyes" the girl said while leaning on Lucian. Lucian holds the girl with one arm and made her stand steadily. The girl was amused by Lucian's touch. She giggled again and then bent to whisper to Lucian closely, "You are beautiful"

Lucian smirked, "Alcohol"

"I already had a lot" the girl said while tilting her head in right direction.

"Oh sure! You are reeking of it" Lucian said looking at the girl in her eyes and then sharply taking few steps backwards like he smelled something awful.

The girl's smile dropped. She tried to smell herself and confusingly asked, "I don't smell it"

Lucian gave an intense look to the girl which both excite and terrified the girl. He took a step forward and took the girl's hand in his and placed a kiss. The girl could feel the heat and her face was all red. Lucian came closer to the girl and whispered in her ear, "GET LOST"

Lucian went to the counter whereas the girl stared at him with an utter shock. Lucian ordered his drink and sat on the counter besides a man who wore shabby clothes. The man clearly could not afford the kind of place he was in but he had the blessing of Lucian to consume any amount of alcohol from the dance club as Lucian owned it. Lucian owns many such clubs and bar in many cities. The man was one of his basal informants who work for him for free booze and descent money based on the information and message valued for Lucian. From past a year, Lucian wanted only single information and the man promised him that for a huge price as he knew how desperate Lucian was to find a woman, Gina was her name.

"You said you have confirmed information?" Lucian asked from the man besides him.

"I have. It was not easy" the man complained only to get more money. Lucian knew those tactics very well but the money was not the problem, not with Lucian.

"I will pay you well. Just tell me" Lucian said.

The man handed a note to Lucian. "What is it?" Lucian asked.

"It's her address. You will find her there" man said. Lucian looked at the paper in his hand curiously.

"Are you sure?" Lucian asked once again.

"I am more than sure" man replied assuring Lucian that the information he has in his hands is correct.

Lucian stared at the paper and smirked. "Found you" Lucian said to himself.

Gina was getting ready for the party when Jonah came from behind to hug her.

"Looking gorgeous" Jonah said sniffing Gina's hair while he buried his head in Gina's neck.

Gina smiled broadly and shies away. "Don't flatter me" Gina said.

"You? Who said anything about you?" Jonah asked in surprise.

Gina slapped Jonah on his shoulder and Jonah winced back.

"You know your bones are sharp" Jonah complained and rubbed his shoulder where Gina hit him.

"So now I am too thin?" Gina asked by making an angry face.

"Of course, you are" Jonah said and took a step backward and stands in a defensive manner if Gina decides to hit him again.

"Jonah, atleast don't tease me today" Gina said making an annoyed face.

"Why? Is there something special today?" Jonah asked.

"Yeah… my boyfriend is coming and we are going to run away. So yeah… today's date is very special for me. I am going to be free" Gina said with a broad smile.

"Free from what?" Jonah asked with a smile.

"Free from you… obviously" Gina said.

"It is not funny anymore" Jonah said with a dropped face.

"Who said anything about being funny? I am serious… very serious" Gina looked at Jonah and talked while looking at him in his eyes.

Jonah looked at Gina seriously. He looked like he has seen a ghost.

Gina chuckled looking at Jonah's face. "Oh my god baby… I am just joking"

Jonah pulled Gina closer, "Of course you are"

"What if I was not?" Gina asked.

"Because I will kill hat man and then I will kill you and myself" Jonah answered.

"So much blood. You are crazy" Gina said while trying to push Jonah but Jonah kept her close tightly.

"You haven't seen crazy and in this house there is only one person who is crazy enough to kill and get killed" Jonah said and then released his wife. Jonah moved to another corner of his room and opened the lower shelf of his cupboard which was filled with men shoes. He chose the one he wants to wear and sat on the chair while putting on his shoes.

"Hannah?" Gina asked.

"Yeah, my beloved crazy sister, Hannah" Jonah answered.

"Is she coming?" Gina asked.

"She is running late" Jonah said.

"Why? Is everything okay with her?" Gina asked.

"Don't worry. She likes to make an appearance" Jonah said shrugging the topic of their discussion.

"So did you tell her?" Gina asked keenly.

"Absolutely not. She will never come here if I tell her that" Jonah said.

"I can't believe it. Are you planning to get killed in front of everyone? She will kill you if you will drop the marriage bomb on her like a surprise. I think you should give her a head start" Gina suggested.

"Trust me. If I will say anything now then we will never have this discussion. I want what is best for her. I wish for her to settle down but she will not listen to any of it over the phone. But she is coming to this party. It will be easy for us to surround her and make her… try to make her understand and put some sense in her mind" Jonah said.

"That seems like a risky plan to me" Gina scratched her neck in nervousness.

"Are you with me on this?" Jonah asked and looked at Gina with high expectations.

"Do I have a choice?" Gina asked with an unsettling face. Gina knew how difficult and adamant Hannah could be especially when uncomfortable topics are being considered, like her marriage. She despised the very idea of having a lover. Gina was finding it difficult how Hannah might react over the proposal of marriage.

"Not really. Not on this. I need you to handle her" Jonah requested.

"Why do you think I can handle her when you don't?" Gina asked.

"You two are friends" Jonah said.

"Best friends. We make girl power" Gina said proudly.

"I love you" Jonah said coming closer to Gina to kiss her.

"Awwww… I love you too baby but I am quite busy right now so I am going" Gina said while running outside, away from Jonah.

"What? Gina wait…" Jonah screamed to stop Gina but she had already left.

Jonah and Gina were attending the guest when Lucian came inside the party hall celebrating Jonah and Gina's fifth year anniversary. Lucian looked around and easily noticed the happily blessed couple to whom everyone was showering their blessings and best wishes. Lucian looked at Gina intensely as Gina moved her hair lock behind her ears while smiling and shying away over the conversation with another couple. It seemed like the couple complimented Gina on her beauty and appearance and Gina gladly accepted the nice of many compliments she has been getting since that evening. Gina wore a peach lace gown with a boat-cut neck. She wore delicate but beautiful fine diamond jewelry to compliment her clothing. She decided to let her long hair fall down behind her back with few hair locks from front to be tied behind in simple yet elegant fashion and few hairs were left to fall on the side of her face to complete her look. She did look beautiful and Lucian could not take his eyes off from her. Lucian had been waiting for that moment from a year long and here she was. Lucian believed that this was what destiny decided for him and Gina was all dressed only for him as fate has written and even if not, Lucian will make sure that his wait is finally over. Lucian took long and fast steps toward Gina. Jonah holds Gina's hand to take her to meet other guest but Lucian came from behind and hold Gina's other hand much to Gina's and everyone else's shock. Lucian pulled Gina towards him and his eyes meet with that of Gina. Gina has confusion and astonishment written all over her face. She did not know what was actually happening. She stared at the man (Lucian) who pulled her away from her husband in shock. Lucian exhaled deeply looking at Gina and smiled and said,

"FOUND YOU"
