The Krueger Base

Kento had just called out Serena, Luz, Ayato, Kuro and Zane's names as he listed out the Family they would be joining.

"You will be assigned to the Queen Family."

"Now, the last team. Yuri Gakuyami, Arina Uzukure, Zake Huruden, Vanessa Herpiere and Sila Zumono. You will be assigned to the Krueger Family." Kento finished.

After that and packing most of their stuff, they boarded on top of different buses which they would use to get to the Portal Stations and head to the different Families' Bases.

They all got on the different Buses. As the buses parted to different directions after passing through the forcefield, they all thought one thing.

"Goodbye." They all said on the insides as they saw their friends through the vehicles' windows.

* * * * *

"Hey Sila! You seem a bit worried." Arina asked the girl with the green short hair who was sitting directly opposite to her in the other row. Sila currently had her head down, trying to hide herself in a white hoodie.

They were still on the bus which they would take to a Portal Station which was not far away. The Bus was designed mostly like all the others, just a silver bus that ran on Valuable Items from specific Drachs. After all, they weren't all just for crafting weapons and armor.

"I just don't like being in the centre of attention or getting any attention, especially with my weak powers. Back at the Academy, I could just stay at the back of the class or hide between you guys when we went to Combat Class." Sila replied with a voice of someone who had low self-esteem.

"You're not weak." Arina wanted to say but she knew that people like her wouldn't listen so she kept quiet.

They finally arrived at the front of the Portal Station. Portal Stations looked like some kind of City hall with multiple people coming in and out, there were multiple portal machines with guards protecting them.

The Bus parked in one of the open spaces and they all got off it. Since they had Compartment Bags, they didn't really need to carry luggage and the wheel bags they used were also Compartment Bags.

The Second Years had also boarded the bus with them and were giving the students from Class D intense glares as they approached the entrance to one of the Portal Stations. One even tried to trip Zake but the latter dodged and left the Second Year alone, he had a chill attitude.

"What's their problem? We desetve to be here just as much as they do. Such fools!" Yuri remarked and made it louder on purpose, he wasn't gonna take any nonsense from them. This got their attention but they just continued to walk through.

After entering the Portal Station, they all took the same portal and were teleported. As Arina and Yuri got to the other side, they both felt dizzy.

"You feel like that too."

"Yeah." Yuri replied to her.

Arina due to the dizziness, uncontrollably walked backwards and was about to fall but a boy with lavender hair caught her, causing her head to land on his broad chest.

"Oh. Thanks, Cris." It was the first guy she had sparred with from Class A.

"No problem." He said with a red face which made Arina move away from him.

" I'm sorry." Arina walked back to her team. As she walked back, Cris couldn't help but admire her.

'What am I doing?' Cris quickly looked away from her and continued to walk.

They had finally arrived at the Base, it was a large and seven miles wide building like a tower which had about four floors. It was mostly a dark red color with it's windows tinted blue.

The building had a large K shaped construction at the very top of the large building colored a dark purple.

The First Years were escorted to the First floor while the Second Years were taken to the floor above it. Their floor went on for miles, it had so many things such as training equipment, a cafeteria, a living space and all sorts of things.

The First Years were lined up to meet a man wearing an orange camouflage as his military uniform and Arina and her team were at the front.

"Your team leader and name please."

"What?" They were surprised.
