The Leader of the Krueger Family

The man wearing the orange military uniform asked them for their Team Name and Team Leader which came as a shock to them as they had not been informed of this.

The man waited patiently as the five of them minus Sila began to think of possible names for their Team.

"Come on."

"Why are they taking so long?"

The other First Years behind them complained as they had been standing in line for some time now.

"I got one." Vanessa spoke. She took the pen in the man's hand and wrote down on the notebook. When the others looked at it, they saw what she had written.

"Sun Five." Was written on the slot for their Team Name and now it just remained one more slot.

"How 'bout our leader?" Arina asked and she quickly recieved stares from her team mates as if they knew the answer was obvious, "What? Wait you don't mean.."

"You are the strongest..", Yuri stepped in, "Except me of course and plus, I don't do responsibility." Yuri added.

He then proceeded to write down Arina's name on the slot for Team Leader.

Arina blushed a bit in embarrassment after looking at it.

After that, they left the queue with their bags. They walked for a bit and finally found the living area for the First Years which was their rooms. They entered the room selected for them which was numbered 17.

The room had two bunk beds located on the left and right walls of the room and there was a large seperate bed at the very end of the room. There was also two other rooms which led to the bathrooms. The walls were painted a dark orange, not much for decoration though.

There were two closets on opposite sides of the room next to the bunkbeds and a large ceiling fan. It was a fairly large space.

"I call the top bunk." Zake said as he rushed towards it but before he knew it, Yuri had passed him and was on top of it.

"Stop behaving like a child. Plus, I'm already on it." Yuri told him with a serious face.

"Hey, you don't get to say that and then take the bed. You know what, forget about it." Zake couldn't really keep frustration and had already let it go. Zake sat on the lower bed of the same bunkbed as Yuri. He'd felt a little dirty if he was to stay on the same bunk bed as one of the other girls.

"I'll stay here." Sila said in a low voice and placed her bag on the large bed at the very end and collapsed on it.

"I guess I'll stay here." Arina sat at the lower bed of the other bunkbed while Vanessa rushed to the top.

They began to unpack all their things which weren't much since they all wore the same set of clothes most of the time.

After they had settled in, an hour later, all the First Years were called out to the main hall for a reason they didn't know. After hearing this, they all rushed out of their rooms in a fast but uniform manner.

The Hall had three large picture frames, each of different men at the front where a small stage was seen. They were hung above it. They all looked similiar except with some distinct features. They were all seen wearing armor that looked to be at least from a Stage 10 Drach.

All First Years, about twenty gathered in a crowd and looked up at the stage.

A man who had a small scruffy beard with brown hair walked to the stage with a commanding aura. He had a single black chest piece with a wolf head skin on the left shoulder. After that was mostly a full dark red body suit. He was tall, about six feet but was not very bulky. He also didn't look very old, probably in his mid thirties. He was also one of the people on the large picture frames.

"My name is Alex Krueger. I am the head of the Krueger Family and your commander in this War. I will make sure we suffer minimal casualties and none of you shall be harmed during this fight."

"Our main reason for bringing you here was so the other nation wouldn't attempt to kidnap you and hold you as hostages. You could have taken refuge in the Silver Fortress but this is an opportunity for you to learn and grow as a person.

" If the fighting gets too rough, you will stand down. I will make sure this squad is led courageously and we will come out victorious."

Alex had a way with words as he managed to lift everyone's moral which was initially low.

The next day, Arina and the others woke up after a long night of rest. Zake got up from his bed and walked up the ladder to the top bunk.

"Wake up, dude." Zake saw no one there, only Yuri's trademark black leather jacket.

"Guys, where's Yuri?" Zake asked in shock.
