Something was definitely off. Samantha still watched the mysterious man in a trench coat, gazing by the window of a shop for a few more moments before she dusted herself off and brought her phone from her pocket.
She tapped in her password and went into the messenger app, immediately she went into Holly’s contact list.
She bit her lip as she hovered over the keyboard. She could be wrong. She considered for a moment the possibilities of her being wrong and that the man following her was someone sent by Richard to look after her.
What was the worst that could happen?
Holly would call the police and Richard would have to come here to sort things out. He would have to explain to the police that he had people watching over her for her own protection. Given his good reputation within the community, the police would let him go without further questions.
