Grabbing Ava and Discussion

As Vance and the three girls were having this horrifying conversation, they headed back to the base. Once they got back, they each headed their own way. Hope and Jess went to the living room, presumably to go play a fighting game together. On the other hand, Vance and Celine headed towards Ava, who Celine had place in her special area that Vance had created.

As they got there, Vance called out to Ava.

"C'mere Ava."

Hearing Vance's call, the little rat quickly scampered out of it's small home towards Vance.

Vance picked Ava up and began to pet it.

"Awwwww, you're so cute. Adorable little thing."

Receiving Vance's affection, Ava began to nuzzle his hand.

"Master, it seems that Ava has gotten stronger."

Hearing Celine, Vance asked while still petting Ava.

"What makes you say that?"

"Well master, it isn't necessarily strength, but speed. Did you notice how fast she was moving?"

While putting Ava on his shoulder, Vance thought back on the scene where Ava ran to him and nodded.

"You might be right. Little Ava, did you get stronger again?"

Ava looked at Vance and nodded in response, while sending a feeling of happiness and pride through their mental link.

"It would seem that she has and that she's proud of it."

"Master, Ava seems to be quite similar to you."

"What does that mean?"

"So happy to get stronger."

Vance chuckled at this.

"Isn't it a good thing to get stronger? Means that it's easier to protect you girls."

Hearing Vance's response, Celine leaned into him and hugged his arm. In response Vance kissed the top of her head.

After this romantic scene, they headed towards the living room to see if Ryoko wanted to come with them on their undercover mission.

On their way to the living room, they began talking about new ways that Vance could get stronger.

"Master, I know that many of the ways you strengthen yourself come from Novels and Manga, but why not think outside of the box? You're limiting your direction of strengthening. It might also be better to think of ways that don't exist in this world. After all, you fully have the ability to travel through dimensions and the multiverse."

Vance agreed.

"Well yes I'm sure I can. And I plan on doing so eventually. Honestly, it might be fun to attempt to conquer certain worlds with only certain abilities. But for now, I want to focus on this world. Although it could be said that this isn't my original world, it is still somewhat my home. Although I plan on visiting the universe I lived in before, eventually. But those are ideas for later. Right now, we have to see if Ryoko wants to have some fun in enemy territory."

As Vance said this, they had reached the living room.
