As tension simmered and growls rippled through the air, a transformative shift overtook me, my eyes gleaming in a blood-red hue, commanding authority from the startled Lycans with a mere gaze.
Observing their subdued reactions, I pondered the nature of my newfound influence over them, reminiscent of the dominance an alpha held over betas in the Tv-series's Teen Wolf lore.
Capitalizing on this unexpected power, I issued a directive to unify the scattered Werewolves nearby as they left in all directions.
Determined to test the boundaries of my hybrid existence, I ventured towards the nearby village, eager to sample human food to test if i would puke from eating it.
Similar to the hybrid in the Underworld Movie and engage with the local populace about the latest Gossip around this region.
Under the moon's gentle glow, I encountered a tipsy villager on his lone journey homeward, slipping into a familiar guise as I greeted him with a disarming smile gazing into his eyes.
"Hey, old friend, long time no see. Why don't you lend me some money that you owe me?"
Casually coaxing him for a loan as other villagers pass bye us, the villager swiftly complied, handing over a handful of silver coins without question.
Counting the coins with a nod, I continued on my path, leaving the bewildered man with a small debt to ponder once sober, unfazed by the transaction as I ventured deeper into the night's mysteries.
Drawn by a sudden cry echoing through the dim alleyways, my curiosity piqued, leading me to investigate the source of the distress with a cautious step forward.
My attention was drawn to a harrowing scene in the dark alley, where a man with a slave collar cradling a lifeless child exuded an aura of despair and grief.
A child no older than six with blood flowing out from the area of the heart.
My own heart ached at the sight of how cruel this world could be in the era of survival.
My gaze shifted to a bulkier man with an unnerving appearance further down the alleyway, his head twisted in an unnatural 360 angle.
While holding a chain leading to the mans collar along with a sword in the other hand still covered in blood.
Driven by a sense of empathy and a desire to unravel the mysteries who this slave is, I slowly start to approach the grieving man, his visage obscured by his head downcast in sorrow.
The clatter of approaching footsteps reverberated through the alley, prompting me to make a swift action — leaping onto a nearby rooftop to observe the unfolding events from the concealment of the shadow of the night.
A group of men in armor with chains came to a stop at the entrance of the dark alleyway as one spoke out.
"Hey boys, it looks like we just got a raise in pay."
The leader who just spoke out issued a signal to the other two in Armor with chains to launch an attack on the slave holding the dead child.
As the leader of the guards made way to the dead guard deeper into the alleyway to grab onto the chain he still held connected to the slave collar.
The chains that were launched like whips quickly made contact on the man's shoulder.
The grim spectacle of a dislocated shoulder followed, eliciting a wince of sympathy from me.
Fixated on the figure of the supposed slave, a flicker of recognition illuminated my features as I discerned his youthful countenance as Raze.
The young Raze quickly stood up and ran at the two guards holding chains in rage, but the one holding his collar chain pulled it.
"Arugghhhhh"
As he fell on his back with redden eyes from crying out of sadness and anger, I decided on what my actions were to be taken.
Jumping down soundlessly behind the two guards who were laughing at the downed man, I hooked the left one leg with my own and pulled back, causing the guard to fall face first onto the ground.
My hand instantly takes the blade of the still-standing guard on the right side, who attempts to elbow me in the skull for tripping his companion.
I duck beneath the elbow, leaving afterimages due to vampire speed, and stab the blade into the fallen guard's heart with EZ.
Both hands now freed from holding anything, with a simple push of one hand, the shocked guard goes flying towards the one holding the chain of the slave collar of the angry young Raze.
I have an assumption as i murmured in a low voice in realization.
"It seem's, this is the village that gets overwhelmed with Lycans later on during this era!"
I smiled at the sight of the future loyal Lycan of Lucian.
As the pained Raze rose in a surge of grief and fury, his eyes ablaze with the remnants of untold suffering,
In his rage, Raze gets up an runs towards the two collapsed men.
Reaching for their necks while he starts to choke them.
As they both seem very malnourished to give any resistance to the grieving young man.
Soon the light left their eyes as the now freed man turned to give thanks to his savior only to be left puzzled looking into the dark alleyway.
The now technically freed man could only see two glowing red orbs in the dark, he couldn't help but ask out loud without any fear after having nothing left to live for.
"Are you here to take my soul, Demon?"
Narrowing my eyes in contemplation at the words to say to such a response.
As this era has many superstitions of supernatural creatures, with only two existing.
"I am not a Demon, But you could think of me as similar to one, I suppose!"
Thinking of how he is not really wrong about me being related to a Demon.
As in the Movie Van Helsing, Dracula became a Vampire drinking Demon Blood following later on when he was in prison, the devil gave him wings to free himself from his prison.
My thoughts of being related to a Demon gave me an uncomfortable feeling as to who would like to be a damned race.
Thinking how Vampires are somewhat also damned, I couldn't help but feel the irony of the situation, although I'm built differently.
"So if you're not a Demon, but related to one, what does that make you!"
I started to walk towards Raze as he stood his ground, I paused momentarily to answered him.
"King of the Damned, I suppose!"
Currently, we were both in the moonlight for a moment in silent understanding this encounter is to not be mentioned.
Walking past Raze as my wings slowly outstretched lunching myself into the night sky continuing on my journey.
Feeling annoyed due to not having been able to test my stomach and my previous happy mood ruined.
I could have tried to ask him if he wanted to be a hybrid.
But already knowing his answer from the movies.
I decided otherwise.
Although now that he is freed for a moment, it's up to him to try his luck in the forest where Lycans have a nest nearby.
Presently, I felt like something important was forgotten., but continued on my way to Viktor Castle.
The small pack of werewolves would later grow into an unimaginable amount.
Until Lucian stumbles upon their den when he escapes his slavery from Viktor and gain's their recognition.
