As I entered my home once again I rushed straight to my room, passing my mom who was busy cooking in the kitchen.

Going into my room I closed the door and turned on my TV to drown out any unwanted voices or noises this hersher might make.

'human, human, human, human... Eric'

There it is

"Yes my dear hersher of fire" I answered teasingly.

"GET ME OUT OF YOUR CLOTHES THIS INSTANT! ITS DISGUSTING IN HERE!" screamed the hersher in desperation.

Rolling my eyes at her I took the dual pistols out of my shirt and put them on my desk.

"Better?"

'yes...'

Well, this is awkward.

I don't really have anything else to say or any other questions since I know more about her than she would know about herself.

I am kind of curious about the will of honkai but that's not a bear I'm willing to poke right now.

I'm also pretty sure she wouldn't answer any of my questions.

Picking back up the guns, I lay on my bed with my eyes closed.

"Bring me in," I asked as she humed in compliance.

My whole world turned dark until I found myself back in the black void where we first met.

"So what do you want?" Asked an annoyed voice behind me.

Looking back at the redhead in a new outfit, it looks like a piece futuristic body suit.

Suits her well actually.

"I'm here for cooperation negotiations"

"TCH, I'm not cooperating with a human. If you haven't forgotten I'm supposed to be wiping out your kind at this very moment" She clicked her tongue at me venomously and immediately rejected my proposal.

"And may I ask why?"

"Isn't it obvious? it's because..."

There it is, the seed of self-doubt has been planted.

Hershers are seeds planted in people by the will of honkai and later on, becoming hershers.

But hershers don't just pop out of nowhere. The hersher of fire should have all the memories and experiences of the Himeko she took over as she is Himeko, but she is a different person completely at the same time.

Just like when Raiden mei turned into a hersher, the hersher Mei still wanted to destroy the world but because of Mei's memories she tried to convince Kiana to side with her,

And when a hersher is born all they know is that their mission is to wipe out humanity

But have they ever questioned why?

No, because they are too busy fulfilling their mission of destruction.

If I just give her a little time of self-reflection I could managed to convince her to team up with me. Like I said before, if she exists then that means that crazier shit than a hersher exists. And I am very keen right now on getting every chance I get on survival.

Something is telling me that things won't be so peaceful anymore.

"Why do I have to kill humanity?" She asked herself in a daze.

"Exactly!, why do you have to kill humanity?. Hell, you aren't even on your own universe anymore so what's the use of destroying humanity if it isn't the humanity that the will of Honkai told you to eliminate."

"Then what am I suppose to do!, it's not like I can go back anymore either. Why do I even exist to begin with?" She self-depreciated herself.

Shit, I think I went too far.

Looking at her, I could already see her eyes coming down and losing shine as she probably realized that her existence had no meaning anymore.

Bending down to her level, I met eye-to-eye with her.

"If that is the case then how about you try to be human?"

"Human? What a joke, I don't even have a body to begin with."

"Do you?"

"Hm?" As she heard my answer her eyes seemed to look at me in confusion until she realized what I meant.

"You would let me possess you?!" Asked the hersher of fire as she gave me a stare as if she was looking at a crazy person.

"Well not for free of course, in exchange for your help, I will share my body and experience what it is to be human. I'm sure that you have Himkos memories but the real stuff is very different from memory" I answered back.

She went into deep thought after hearing my offer, many times her expressions changed as if weighing her options.

"Fine I accept, it's not like I have anything else left for me" she shrugged her shoulders.

Good it seems like it worked.

reaching out my hand for a handshake I said "Hope you learn a thing or two from now on in being human" 

Reaching out her own hand she shook mine "Hope you keep your end of the bargain, il burn you if you don't" she threatened me but I didn't take it to heart as she cant do anything to me.

Well for the most part she can't, in the universe there is never an impossible.

My world then turned dark again and I woke up in my bed, looking towards my desk next to my bed I didn't see Judgement of Shamash. I panicked and started to look around to see if she escaped somehow or if my family picked it up by accident while the hersher was talking with me.

'Dumbass look at your hands' spoke the hersher in my mind.

Confused by her words, I looked down at my hands to find ten rings each on a finger in my hands. The rings on both thumbs seemed to hold a crystal of sorts which was her split hersher core.

"Didn't know you could transform into other things, Couldn't you have turned the Soulium into an animal or human to escape?" I asked in confusion.

"I can't do complex forms except for the ones that the crazy bitch programmed into the soulium. But by myself, I can do simple things like the rings that are on your fingers. Like you said, it would be weird for others to see you holding a giant cleaver or guns, Hence I transformed into a more portable form." She explained

This is very good and a complete surprise for me, Soulium is a Metal composed of Nanomachines which is why Judgement of Shamash can transform or mold itself into the forms it can transform itself into.

Since they're also incredibly durable and they were made to insulate Honkai energy, they are the material of choice if wishing to use relatively high honkai levels in use of weaponry, not to mention all Divine Keys use some variation of Soulium. Even some non-Divine Key weapons use Soulium and they're some of the more powerful weapons to be made.

"Good, now I can take you anywhere"

 a sudden screen popped up in front of me after talking with her[System Downloading in 32 Min]

Hearing my mom's voice a little grin appeared on my face "It seems like this time for your first human Experience"

Walking over to the kitchen I could already see all my family sitting at the table. I Sat down on my chair and my mom put the food in front of me.

It was one of my favorites, Korean chicken, rice, and a fruit salad just to balance out the meal.

'You can take over' I spoke to her in my mind. 

with a hum of acknowledgment, she took over, my arms, limbs, voice, my whole body was now uncontrollable. I could take it back by sheer will but I'm not doing that.

This boy really is weird, at first I attempted to steal his body and now he is willing to give it to me out of his own free will. He truly is foolish, at any moment I could have betrayed him and taken over his body completely... but I didn't.

Because if I did then I would be no better than a filthy human... wait aren't I trying to be human?

After our little conversation, he made me realize that I truly have nothing to live for anymore. But he convinced me to live the life of a human, for someone like me whose whole mission was to destroy them this was nothing but pure hypocrisy.

I want to understand them in a deeper sense, why I was even given this mission in the first place.

Why are humans like this? do all of them deserve death? what does it mean to be human? All these questions I asked myself were left unanswered.

That's why I have decided to live as a human to better understand them. Although I don't see how eating chicken would be part of being human?

As Eric sat on the table and let me take ovet, all my five senses were assaulted, The tantalizing aroma of sizzling chicken wafts through the air, a symphony of savory notes that beckoned the senses.

The skin, perfectly crisped to a golden brown, releases a mouthwatering fragrance of roasted spices, mingling with the succulent, tender meat beneath. As you draw closer, your olfactory senses are enveloped in the rich, smoky essence of grilled chicken, its natural juices creating an irresistible harmony with the herbs and seasonings.

I visibly gulped and took one of them into my hands.

As I took my first bite, my taste buds were greeted with a burst of flavors – tender and juicy meat. A smile slowly crept across my face as I savored the unique combination of textures and tastes, discovering the joy of indulging in this new culinary experience. With each subsequent bite.

How come I never had chicken before, this thing is great!!!

After I had my first bite I just kept on ravaging every single piece of food on my plate until nothing was left.

'Oi!, you're not supposed to eat the bone!!' exclaimed Eric inside.

Dam I was so immersed in the food that I ate the chicken bone... Wait how did I even eat it with this weak body?

'Sigh~ anyways it seems like you enjoyed it~' teased Eric inside my mind.

'...'

'anyways it's time I came back' said Eric as my world went black and my vision returned to being a spectator.

But I'm not sad since this won't be the last time I, no, WE do this.

After Dinner-

After we both ate, I immediately moved to my room. Before we went to dinner I had received a flying notification stating that a system was in downloading progress.

Of course, I was excited as I am a man who has read many types of mangas and fanfictions that have situations like this. But it did feel that it was kind of weird that it kicked in so late.

"Damed Bastard stop camping!!!" screamed the Himeko.

Right now she is playing Call of Duty and screaming at the players. There was still some time left before the system fully downloaded so I thought it would be funny to see her reaction to video games.

And what better game to test her fiery temper than a shipment map call of duty match?

Oh boy is it funny, she was killed in the first few seconds and it kept repeating until she started screaming into the mic like a Himalayan goat.

As the hersher was still playing a game, I quickly took over my body once again from her. She complained that she wasn't over and that she still needed to kick their asses but I ignored her rage.

"What the hell?!" I said out loud, for a starter pack I get to chose a hersher power, every single hersher no matter the power is considered a walking calamity. So for me it wouldn't have mattered if I got any of them, but I can choose whichever I want hehehe.

'You okay Eric, your heart rate just went up by a lot' asked Himeko in my mind.

Oh yeah before I forget, she decided on her name staying as Himeko just like the other her was named as, she kept it since she thought that it fit her well.

"Nothing is wrong, I'm just thinking of some stuff" I replied back as I kept reading over my options.

She just hummed in acknowledgment and returned to the back of my mind.

Jeez, this is hard, I would very much like to choose the hersher of reason because of grandpa welt but I don't think I could remember how to build a robot or even a spoon with my measly 67 intelligence. Besides [Reason], the only ones that really call out to me are [Void] and [Death/Rebirth], [Sentience] and [Stars] are also options I considered but they are not as good as the other two.

I also checked off [Fire] because I already have Himeko/Judgement of Shamash here with me.

After thinking about it long and hard I decided.

"I chose the core of Void"

'Shit' As she said those words my whole mind went black and I passed out on my chair.

"Ugh, my mind feels like shit," Eric said as he groggily woke up. from the very moment he opened his eyes, a dreadful headache. And it wasn't just his head, his whole body felt stiff and rigid like rusted gear.

'Eric are you okay!' asked Himeko, to Himeko all that happened was too sudden. He was fine all of a sudden and the next thing she knew Eric was on the chair knocked out cold.

But obviously, after he passed out she started to notice the changes in Eric's body, like his muscles getting denser and stronger as his body destroyed itself and reconstructed, especially the appearance of foreign energy in his body. 

"Yeah I'm okay just some stiff joints," said Eric as he reassured Himeko, standing up from his seat he started doing multiple stretches and exercises to get his body up and running.

Eric can already feel the changes in his body, especially in his strength. If before he could destroy an apple with both hands, Eric is now confident in punching a hole through a steel door. He can also feel this foreign energy inside my body, it flows and moves through Eric's very being like blood.

Eric complied and told her how he turned into a hersher and about the system. Himko on the other side was completely baffled that he turned into one, especially as a hersher that could control space.

'Can you do it, controlling fire was like second nature from the moment I was born. I might not have been in perfect and absolute control of it but you should have an idea of how to do it

"Nope I don't know a single thing" confessed Eric

'... like not a single thing?'

"Nope"

'*Sigh*' Himeko already knew that today was going to be a log day.
