As I open my eyes, I see Carol sleeping beside me.

Oh yeah, last night Carol came to my room and asked me to bed her. Man, I didn't know that Carol likes kinky stuff. For a Cloud flame user, she enjoys being a restraint on the bed.

Carol, who slowly opens her eyes, smiles at me and says.

"Good Morning, Lexian"

"Morning, Carol. How are you?"

"Great."

"Good. Come on. We have a long day ahead of us. I want to stay here and cuddle with you, but we have something important to do right now."

I smile at her and give her a quick kiss before getting up from the bed and going to the shower. However, before I could take a shower, Carol walked inside the shower with me.

"I want to wash you up."

"We need to prepare, you know?"

"We have a few hours to kill. WE wake up at 6 AM. Don't you want to be washed by two?"

I look at Carol's breast before sighing a little.

"Yes, I do."

This will be a long morning, isn't it?

After eating breakfast, we walk toward the barracks, where I see many people ready to go. The total number of people that come with us is 200 people. This number was picked because it was the maximum number Medea can teleport us. There is 75 Storm, 20 Rain, 50 Lightning, 30 Sun, 15 Cloud, and 10 Mist. They are also a combination of many races. There is a werewolf, Dhampir, and even humans. They are equipped with a variety of weapons. Some of them prefer a close combat weapon like an ax, a sword, or a spear. In comparison, others prefer long-range weapons like Bow and Gun.

At first, I was confused about the reason why they choose a bow rather than a gun. Because in my mind, I prefer more dakka than a bow. However, after they showed me what a bow could do if it is in the right hand, they can shoot an arrow to at least 1KM target. Not only that, but they also coat their arrows with poison and other chemicals. Basically, they are a walking poisonous sniper person.

Not only that, but each of them is also equipped with a few bottles of potion Medea creates in case of emergency. This potion is made in the hope of rivaling the Phoenix tear. While the effect is not the same, it should be enough for emergencies.

Meh, I prefer more dakka, though.

"In five minutes, we will depart. Prepare yourself"

"Yes, Lord Lexian!"

I nod at them and stand next to my guardian. I look at Medea, who is busy preparing the Magic Circle. After waiting for five minutes, the people begin to inside the massive magic circle Medea created.

"Are you guys ready? Let us take care of some pests."

"Valerie? Are you okay?"

"Huh?"

I snap from my thoughts as I hear Sister Amelia call me.

"Are you okay?"

"No, I'm okay."

"You know that you are not a good liar, right?"

"I…"

I sigh a little and look at the place where my brother was previously located.

"I'm worried about brother Lexian. It feels weird when he is gone. The familiar warm feeling I feel when he is around is gone. Even when he walks around the city, I can feel his warm aura but now? I can't feel it. Well, I still can feel his warmth, but it is only a tiny bit of it that indicates that he is still alive out there."

He is the one that rescues me from the torture chamber. He is the one that rebuilt me. He is the one that makes me feel warm once again, and the most important thing he is my Sky.

"Yeah. I feel the same way when he goes away. When he told me to stay in Faysummit, I felt my heartbreak. I begin to think if I am doing something wrong. Suppose I do something that makes him mad at me. However, when he says that he wants me to protect you, to protect this city, and to protect our home, I know that he cares for all of us. That is why you don't need to worry about him. He will go back to his home, and he will come back to us because he is our Sky after all."

I couldn't have but smiled at sister Amelia's speech.

"You are right, and as a member of his family, we need to protect our home."

I look at my guardian and say.

"Cris, will you be my training partner for today? I want to become stronger to protect our home."

I smile at her before walking to the castle and ready to train me.

I need to get stronger as I will be the one protecting this city, this land, these people, and, more importantly, our home. I need to protect it while my brother is far away from home. So when he comes back from whatever he is doing, he feels welcomed like he welcomes all of us.

Medea walked toward the Chaldea cafeteria. It has been quite some time since she was summoned in Chaldea organization. While she has not been deployed to accompany Ritsuka, she is content with her life right now.

Speaking of Ritsuka, she is currently attempting to summon another servant in the summoning room. Dr. Romani said that the rate a servant gets summoned is relatively rare even for someone that is classified as a three-star servant. That is why summoning a five-star servant is worth celebrating.

In Chaldea, Medea even met her alternate self. She still remembers how her alternate self was shocked, seeing her bearing a family name, especially another family name.

"You are married?!?"

Medea smiled at her counterpart, who looked at her in shock.

"Of course. There is a reason why I have Vongola as my family name."

Medea puffed up her chest a little in pride. That single name is the reason why she is different from her counterpart. That single name is the reason she became a free woman, free from the curse of gods.

"Interesting. I never heard of anyone having a family name of Vongola. Can you tell us about your family?"

Medea smiles at her fellow caster, Paracelsus, and says.

"While I didn't want to ruin the surprise, I can give you a hint. Where I come from, the Age of Gods has not yet ended."

Hearing Medea hint, the other servant begins to think about the possibilities of the Vongola family. However, there is one person that is confused about this situation, her counterpart.

"If the Age of Gods did not end like in here, then how can you marry this man instead of madly in love with Jason?"

Medea smiles at her counterpart and says.

"My husband broke the curse. He is the one that gives me my freedom."

To this day, not a single one of them knows the identity of Medea's husband, and she is okay with that. As Medea walks inside the cafeteria, she sees many people inside the cafeteria. Some of them are eating EMIYA cooked, and some of them drink some wine and beer.

After ordering some food from EMIYA, Medea sits down on the chair and waits for her food to arrive.

However, before the food could arrive, the door slammed open, and Fujimaru Ritsuka walked inside the cafeteria, her current Master. However, she is not alone. Coming with her is another woman wearing silver armor with a red line around it. She has blonde hair and green eyes.

However, what caught Medea's attention is a familiar looking ring on her right and left hand.

"Let me introduce you guys to our newest servant. Mordred"

"Yo."

"Mordred, let me introduce you to your fellow servant."

Ritsuka then introduced Mordred to the other servant and stopped a little longer when Ritsuka introduced Mordred to her father, Artoria.

"Hello, Father"

"Mordred… You look… Different…"

"Really? I don't think I change much thought."

"No… Your aura is more... Mature?"

"Well, I guess I need to be mature when I'm married."

"Eh?"

Medea smiled at the shocked face of Artoria and Ritsuka at that information.

"Eh? To whom?"

"Well…."

However, before Mordred could tell them, Medea walked toward her and said,

"Hello, Mordred. It's nice to see you get summoned as well."

Medea walked toward her while disillusioning her ring so Mordred could see it.

"Oh! Medea! Nice to see you here! How long have you been in here?"

"Not too long ago."

"Mah! It good to see you here."

Fujimaru Ritsuka, who is currently confused by the current event, walks toward them and asks for some answers.

"Ah! I never say to you my full name, didn't I, Master?"

"Eh? Your name is Mordred Pendragon right?"

"Nope. My full name is Mordred Vongola!"
