Into Your Word

Lisa Pov ;

I turned the pages of the book in my hand, reading it carefully. Actually I know the next story, also the ending of the story. It is a novel series "Harry Potter", by J.K Rowling.

I've watched eight of his film series, my favourites. Since I've watched it I think reading the novel will be less stressful. But it turns out that the story in the novel is more tense, the story is more detailed. This novel, which is almost as thick as a brick, is neatly lined up in all the series in Dave's office cupboard.

It's been almost thirty minutes since Dave forced me to marry him in front of Brenda, his secretary.

I might have gone crazy at that time, accepting it only because of the Moluccan taste because Dave-that crazy guy kissed me fiercely in front of other people. I could tell he was serious about his words that he would have gone a long way if I hadn't taken him a few minutes ago.

I don't know what he's thinking. This doesn't make sense to me. We only met three times, never dated, no heartfelt words, and suddenly...., at our fourth meeting he forced me to marry him.

I didn't expect to be married to a romantic man who would bring a bunch of flowers to our every meeting, or to someone who would rent out an entire playground just so I could see the beautiful fireworks just the two of us.

They don't have to be like the ideal guy in most romantic movies, at least they're someone I love and want to marry. But today? I was forced to marry a man who was filled only with a scary aura and a mischievous smile.

Oh, I miss my quiet life.

Twenty minutes ago after Brenda came out,

Dave again forced me to sit comfortably on his long sofa.

I refuse, I want to go home. But of course, he will force me again with his flagship trick. I surrender. He said he would take care of something in a bit, asked me to wait for him. And here I am, obediently reading the "Harry Potter" series.

Ten minutes passed.

I removed the novel in my hand. The sky outside was almost dark, the sun had almost completely set. The office door was pushed from outside, Dave walked in with his annoying smile. I was still in a sitting position leaning on the back of the sofa, with a book in my hand. Dave walked over to me, spreading his arms out.

I looked at him in surprise. What more could he want?

"I missed you a minute after I left Lily's office." Dave embraced me, his hand stroking my shoulder.

The brown scent of his hair wafted over clearly as his head bobbed against my shoulder, like a kitten. I tried to let go of my body, but he hugged me tighter.

"What are you doing?" I tried to push him hard.

"Hugging you." Dave answered me curtly, he stayed where he was, not intending to move. Oh, God! If this is a romantic drama, I don't expect the audience to like it. Each episode is always filled with scenes of the main character and the main female character kissing. Viewers will be bored with plot twists like this, right?

"You can hug your mother if you really want to hug someone!" This time I pushed him hard. Whether it was me getting stronger or Dave deliberately relenting, his arms slipped.

He paused, then looked at his watch. As if he had just obtained a divine, Dave smiled brilliantly at me. It really was a smile, but why did I feel it was something scary?

"Tonight we have dinner at a special place." Dave looked at me expectantly. The smile on his face didn't sag even an inch.

"Dinner? Us?" I looked at Dave. He nodded enthusiastically in response.

"Where?" I asked again.

But Dave didn't answer, instead, he got up from his seat, then put on his black coat which he had previously draped over his work chair. The movement looks excited.

He looked at me once in a while while smoothing his shirt. I looked at him in surprise, I had a bad feeling about this.

Dave has been tidy, he walked towards me with his annoying smile.

"Come on." Dave took my hand, put the novel that I had placed on the table in its original place with one hand.

"I haven't said whether I'll have dinner with you or not Dave." We walked down the corridor. I caught a glimpse of Brenda as she came out of Dave's office earlier, she looked like she was getting ready to go home.

Dave walked a little ahead of me, his steps were not fast, he followed the rhythm of my walk. The elevator door opened as soon as we arrived in front of it. We went inside, the elevator doors closed, the elevator moved down.

I wanted to let go of my hand that was still in Dave's grip. We're in the elevator, I'm not going anywhere, he doesn't have to keep holding me right?

Dave saw my hand, trying to get out of his hand, I was worried he would look at me angrily again, but he only glanced at it, then tightened his grip.

I started to get a little annoyed, again trying to pull my hands that started sweating. Dave looked at me, then chuckled, slightly annoyed.

"Why are you chuckling?" I asked, looking back at him annoyed. Dave turned his face away,

"Shows disappointment."

I almost laughed at the look on his face that looked like a sulking kitten. I don't know with that character he has that look on his face.

I suppressed my smile, "Why are you the one who's disappointed? I'm the one because you didn't answer my question. Then what's with your hand, you put glue on? Why can't it come off?"

Oh, I can feel the development of my speech is increasing now, I feel almost like a chatty Jessy.

TING !

The elevator door opened. We got off on the first floor.

Dave took my hand again. I looked down and looked around. Hours after work, the employees look crowded in the lobby, towards the main door. They bowed slightly as Dave passed, saluting. One or two greeted, greeted, the rest of course interested in seeing which woman was walking beside their boss with their hands intertwined.

Dave walked straight in front of me, not paying attention to his surroundings. If it wasn't in public, I really wanted to kick Dave for making me the center of attention again in front of his employees, and of course he didn't care.

"Get in to the car, Lili." The black car door had been open since earlier, Dave was just waiting for me, who had been hesitating for a while.

This scene may be the dream of many women out there. A young businessman, rich and handsome, Dave William brought a woman with him into his car parked in front of his company and witnessed by all his employees, that means, that woman is being introduced to the whole world as his own.

I know that around Dave there are always many reporters who follow him, I know this after looking for Dave's name on the internet and immediately hundreds of articles appear about him.

Dave smiled at me, helping me into his car. I groaned inwardly, still not used to seeing my face plastered on the headlines. The car drove slowly, leaving the company yard.

Fifteen minutes passed, and Dave still had no intention of opening his mouth to say our destination.

I looked out the car window. The sky was dark, the sun had completely disappeared in the far west, replaced by the moon and stars. I looked up at the sky, there was no starlight, more precisely not visible because of the bright light from the street lamps and high rise buildings along the street.

I turned my gaze to Dave who was leaning back in the car seat with his eyes closed. I don't know if he's asleep or not. I stared at him for a long time, until….

"We'll be there soon Miss Lisa." The man behind the wheel, who I guessed wrongly was his bodyguard named Gerry told me.

"Where's Gerry?" I answered politely. He looks friendly, his age must also be much older than me.

"My house." Dave answered. He had just woken up when Gerry started talking a while ago.

"Your house? Why did you take me to yours? You said we were only going for the night." I looked at Dave annoyed. I should have realized earlier that if our direction was towards this elite housing complex, I knew Dave's house was in this area.

"We're going to have dinner, at my house. Mom and Dad are waiting for us." He smiled, not looking guilty.

Mom and Dad? Damn Dave. This seems to be the culmination of all my crises today, meeting Dave's parents. I've never met my lover's parents before, I don't have the slightest experience. Oh Dave, this afternoon he forced me to marry, and have you met the family tonight?

The car stopped in front of Dave's entrance. I can feel my heart beating faster, oh why am I a little scared? And restless? I stood in front of the mansion that looked more like a castle, breathing hard. I just felt it, I'm starting to feel small here.

Dave smiled gently at me, holding my slightly sweaty hand.

"Don't worry, you're beautiful in whatever you wear Lili, trust me." I smiled, for the first time I felt Dave seemed to mean his words.

The door of the house was opened from the inside, a man and woman in their fifties smiled broadly to greet us, at the door.
