Missing Someone

Jingyi Wang was attending an important business meeting in A city. Many directors, famous CEOs and investors were in attendance. Jingyi Wang sat behind the main table expressionlessly and An Jun passed a few sets of documents to him.

Jingyi Wang was expressionless. The coldness he emitted was so strong that the people in the room were about to freeze.

"These are some of the less well-known company I have set my eyes on. I have seen their company develop. I think this is our best chance to have them sign a contract with us"

As he said so, he lowered his voice into a whisper, so that only Jingyi Wang can hear him. "Also, if we have them sign a contract with us, we would also benefit from them"

After he said so, Jingyi Wang shot him a cold glance which made him swallow his remaining words.

Jingyi Wang flipped through the documents in his hand as he mentally thought of what An Jun just said.

Although, he had heard good things about these companies. However, he realised that he never paid attention to all these stuffs.

He never cared about other companies.

His objective is to make his father proud.

He flipped until the end of the documents and threw the documents on the table, then he looked at An Jun. "You can decide what to do with these" he said, his expression was unreadable.

An jun was stunned for a moment and later reacted, he nodded and replied, "Okay"

After the meeting, An Jun brought a cup of coffee for Jingyi Wang and suddenly spoke, "President Wang, Why didn't you tell miss Xiao that you were leaving the city and you won't be back for days?"

Jingyi Wang heard this and looked up.

That morning when he left the villa, Xiao li was sleeping peacefully and he decided not to wake her up. He left her with a kiss and gave the maids some instructions before asking An Jun to drive him to the airport.

Jingyi Wang did not say anything and lowered his gaze.

An Jun didn't realise a slight change in Jingyi Wang and decided to tease him. "I think president Wang is missing miss Xiao and can't stop thinking about her. Why don't you just give her a call"

However, Jingyi Wang shot him a cold glare which made An Jun swallow his saliva. He turned his head and proceeded to look outside.

This Jingyi Wang's eyes can make you freeze instantly.

Since Jingyi Wang did not make any comments, it shows that he was really missing Xiao li and he wants to speak with her.

An Jun gave it a thought and murmured, "Why can't you just say it? it won't just cause you a penny"

"What are you saying?"

At that moment, Jingyi Wang heard An Jun say something and thought he was talking to himself.

An Jun was stunned.

He quickly looked around and smiled awkwardly. "I only said, this place is actually beautiful"

Then he laughed awkwardly like an idiot. Jingyi Wang made a disdain expression and stared at An Jun like he is a fool before averting his gaze to look around.

"President Wang, won't you drink your coffee?" An Jun asked and pointed at the coffee in front of Jingyi Wang, only for him to get an "Oh" sound.

Meanwhile at G city.

In the Villa.

At exactly dinner time, Xiao li walked to the dining area and watched as the chefs set the dinning table. Xiao li has not come out of her room since morning, so the chefs prepared dinner a little bit late today.

After the chefs had set the table, a maid said, "Young miss, you should eat your food, so you will have enough strength"

As she spoke, the maid smiled.

Hearing what the maid said, Xiao li nodded her head and started eating.

After eating, She went upstairs, laid on the bed and hit herself on the head.

She sworn not to fall in love with Jingyi Wang. She can't forget the fact that he was the one that ruined her life. He kidnapped her, and forced her to stay in his house.

Why was she feeling this way?

Furthermore, the shame and humiliation she felt that day was enough to make her commit suicide. The injustice she felt caused her to bite her lips savagely as she tried not to cry.

However, subconsciously, large teardrops started rolling down her face. She hurriedly wiped her tears off her face with her hands, but tears still kept rolling down her face uncontrollably.

Suddenly, a high cold cackle, piercing the silence in the room. Xiao li laughed. It was a cruel mocking laughter. She was laughing at herself.

Shouldn't she just accept the fact that this is her fate- her destiny?

She can never get out of this even if she wanted to. She was destined to live with this man.

She can't escape from his palm.

While she was thinking about this, she fell asleep in a daze.

For the next few days, Jingyi Wang did not return home and Xiao li would look at the time every minute, waiting for him to come.

Sometimes, she would laugh at her anxiousness.

Why was she waiting for him to come back home?

At night, she would wait for him pretending to read books.

Then, one morning, Xiao li woke up with dark circles. Yang lingsi stared at her for a very long time. When she felt the need to talk, she said, "Young miss, it's like you have not been getting enough rest"

Xiao li sighed quietly as she sat on the couch. "I read books at night. It's nothing"

Yang lingsi stared at Xiao li pitifully.

Even if Xiao li would not say why she stayed up at night to read, she knew the reason. Xiao li had grown very fond of Jingyi Wang and was used to him being around, but now that he is not around, the villa became so lonely.

The sun began to set and the sky grew darker. The rising moon shone fitfully through the clouds. Xiao li's features were partially illuminated by the moonlight, she stood on the balcony with her arms resting on the railings.

She was wearing a white, feathery night dress; the breeze blew it's soft, fuzzy socks surface this way and that way. Her hair blowing above was a starting halo

A figure stood in front of the master bedroom, opened the door and peeped into the room. Seeing Xiao li was sound asleep, she smiled and walked to the side. She reached for her phone in her pocket and dialed a number.
