[3rd POV]
"KAI HAS RETURNED!!"
..
..
..
"Who?" the two farmers asked dumbly, making Kai slump his shoulder.
"Kai. You may know me as general Kai." Kai said with a smile and confidently strutted towards the two farmers who still had question marks on thier faces.
"The Jade Slayer, people also call me the Master of Pain." Kai said again, expecting recognition but he only got an awkward stare and a shake of the head.
"The Beast of Vengence, the Maker of Windows? Come on I am the Supreme General of China!!" Kai said and raised his voice.
"Wait, wait, wait." the rabbit said as recognition flashed in thier eyes.
"Are you Tai Lung?"
"What?! How do you even come to that conclusion?" Kai asked. He literally just told them that he was Kai and they think he was Tai Lung?
He sighed, "I used to work with Oogway back in the days."
The two farmers ooed in recognition. "Oogway, yes! We know Master Oogway. He is very famous around here. Hey, Nie Li, didn't Oogway defeat Tai Lung once, when Tai Lung was young?"
"Yes, Yes!!"
"Imagine that, he was able to defeat Tai Lung. Can you imagine how strong Oogway would be? Even though he was young, it is still Tai Lung." The duck nodded
Kai had a blank sheet for a face and he rubbed between his eyes. His annoyance reached its peak and he grabbed the duck by his throat.
"Listen here and listen well puny mortals. I don't care about the history of Oogway and Tai Lung, they could be old lovers for all I care. What I want to know is the current situation in China." Kai said. He had heard enough, especially about Tai Lung from all the elephant soldiers of the Gutpa Empire.
They were strong and a great addition to his collection but man they won't stop yapping about it. That made Kai at least a little bit weary even though he was many times stronger than he was in the cannon movies.
"And tell me, where can I find this Tai Lung." he asked as his eyes glowed corrupt green.
"He is not in China right now!! I heard he is still in Tiibet and currently travelling South to the Gupta Empire." The duck choked out.
Kai mulled over the answer before the rabbit spoke from beside him.
"Umm, Mr Kai. Can I ask why you want to know where Tai Lung is?" he asked, curious and he had a gut feeling the answer would be good.
And just like his rabbit gut was telling him, the reply he got was hilarious.
"Isn't it obvious? I am going to kill him and enslave him with the power of my jade." Kai said and then silence.
The rabbit and the duck whom Kai was strangling got quiet and they looked at each other before they burst out laughing. That was the final straw and Kai slammed the duck to the ground before his hand released green smoke and he absorbed both of thier chi.
It was not because he wanted thier chi but because he wanted to gain thier memories. He couldn't bear to go through with asking nicely anymore.
He closed his eyes as green washed over him. When he opened his eyes again, they held a newfound knowledge and comprehension of the world around him.
"Ah!" He exclaimed. "So that's how it is."
He hummed in thought after that. It seemed it wouldn't be easy to conquer the mortal realm as he initially expected
There was a genuine threat.
"I will need an army." Kai said to himself. He would need more than just his jade armies if he wanted to go up against an enemy with the whole of China.
And he couldn't be hasty with his plan. For now, he must lay low and gather more information. He recalled from the memories he absorbed about the rebels who refused to join the Unified China. They were still camping in the West.
He could start with that.
Kai took out three jade pendants from his necklace and he threw them to the ground. They transformed into Kung Fu masters who had died but thier essence was claimed by Kai.
"You know what to do, go." He said and then the Jade warriors immediately left to complete thier task.
Kai was still not the strongest even after 500 years. But no matter. He was not upset over the surprise.
Instead, he was filled with greed when he saw that he could get more power.
The world will belong to him.

[3rd POV]
The city of Tamralipta was in chaos as if a war had descended on the city. The people ran around like headless ducks while the earth quaked violently corresponding to footsteps
The birds living in the city fled and thier huge number cast a deep and scattering shadow upon the earth. It was overall a horrific scene.
"He really did it, what a headache." said Nagendra Gupta as he watched the city from his castle balcony.
Other than the people running around to save thier own lives and the criminals who took advantage of the situation to kill or steal, there was one thing you wouldn't miss if you looked at the city.
It was the humongous trail of destruction in the city. it was almost like someone had passed through a field of weeds.
Where the people lived in a close compact city, there was a road of dirt and debris along with deep craters that looked like footsteps from above.
Nagendra moved his eye away from the city and looked to the horizon. At first glance, it looked like a mountain but when the sun shone directly on it, the mountain reveled itself to be something more.
A humongous finback whale, the second largest creature in the world. It was not much smaller than even the likes of the blue whale.
The body of this massive creature was covered in barnacles and algae that gave the impression that the creature was ancient. The impression won't be wrong either.
Nagendra could do nothing but watch as the leader of the whalefolk, Gehra Rakshas made his way through the city from the ports. His main objective being vengeance against the one who killed his dear friend.
He was more than a hundred feet tall and his weight was so heavy, it was never meant to walk on land.
"Send a message to the Emperor, ask him permission to mobilize a military force to accompany Gehra Rakshas and if not, tell him to come and force the behemoth back into the ocean." Negendra gave his orders before rubbing his head.
The whalefolk were vital for the Empire. They lived in the Bay of Bengal and effectively ruled over the whole of the Indian Ocean. They would guide ships and cargo which were the main transportation for the Empire.
They couldn't just let the leader of such an important faction die. Whales were giants that rarely opened up to people but when they did, they loved like no other animal
But he oh so hated that nature of whales right now. It was forcing the situation on them.
Suddenly, the world was drowned by the intense sound released by the whale. It was an incoherent sound of whistle and weird clicks that sounded alien.
A sound that was meant to travel hundreds of miles under the sea, when it rang outside, the noise was absolutely lethal.
The clicks scratched thier brain and anyone too close to the whale had thier ears ruptured.
Nagendra Gupta, as a snake sensitive to vibration, also felt the noise and he cursed under his breath. But there was not much he could do.
Chaos was unfolding, one after the next.
It was the prelude to the final conflict.
And at the epicenter was the strongest in the world.
