Sometimes Gao Peng wondered if he was too cruel to Dumby.
It usually only consumed a couple of needles at a time. Now it was reduced to eating grass in the wild. Even worse, when it ate grass in secret it still had to pay tribute to its bully Da Zi.
Of course, it was all in good humor. Gao Peng saw that Dumby was eating a plant called Yin-Thread Fern. It was a plant that grew in humid areas and had strong Yin energy. For a ghoul type monster like Dumby, this sort of plant was very nutritious.
At first, Gao Peng limited Dumby's growth because he wanted to make a contract with it. So for long periods of time, he prevented Dumby from consuming food rich in nutrition.
Now he felt that Dumby had been having a hard time.
"Wait 'till after we get out of the valley. I'll buy you lots of tasty stuff," Gao Peng said to Dumby with a smile.
Dumby put the last Yin-Thread Fern into its mouth reluctantly before getting to its feet.
