The body was huge, and he had to look for parts of the Fang in some alleys, because the creature had exploded and its organs had been thrown somewhere.

He didn't find all of the body parts, but at least he was sure he had gathered 60% of Fang body.

It would be pointless to continue searching the area on the third day, when Fang flesh had probably already disintegrated. It was not even possible to collect the blood, when it had already dried.

Drayan flew over the neighborhood for three days, mounted on the Grassh.

I think it's time to go to another city. There's nothing else to do here.

He stayed here for two days, just to retrieve the dead creature's body, and he stayed another day, to see if he could find the creature that had hurt Fang. But so far, no creature as dangerous as the Smiling Fang has appeared.

Drayan came to the conclusion that it might have been a human with a mutant-level body, who hunted down Fang.

But this human was very well hidden, or had already gone to another city. The town of 'Becke', is a small town, and it's very difficult to stay hidden for a long time. If the human had been around, Drayan would have found that person by now.

But why harm a modified creature and then walk away instead of finishing hunting the creature?

It's a waste to hurt a modified creature and let it go. That's a stupid thing to do. Unless that person has a specific reason.

Drayan thought about the possibility that the human never wanted to hunt the Fang, but the Fang must have attacked the human, and the human just defended himself.

Or simply, the human was just dumb and let the creature get away after hurting it. But the first option was more convincing for Drayan.

But not wanting to hunt a modified creature means there's something better to hunt. It could also be that a modified creature is irrelevant to that human.

After Drayan fed his cells the nutrients, the evolution cells began to grow rapidly.

Evolved level cells (high): 60% > 70%.

10%, might not seem like much, but it was a huge number, as incredible as it sounds. To increase it by 1%, Drayan would have to eat 10 entire bodies of an evolved creature the size of a cow. To get 3%, he would have to eat 30 large evolved creatures. And to get 10%, it was necessary to eat 100 evolved level creatures.

There was no way Drayan could eat that much in a single day.

Even if he used his body nutrients to feed his cells and managed to free up more space in his stomach, still, his body nutrients wouldn't decrease enough for his stomach to be completely empty.

In order for him to get 3% or 5%, it took days, weeks, even months, eating evolved creatures and using the nutrients to feed the cells.

Of course, this all also depended a lot on the creature he was eating. If he ate only modified level creatures, he would already have a mutated body. The better the creature nutrients, the faster the cell percentage increases.

But there's a catch, the closer your cells get to 100% to complete the evolution, the harder it will be to increase the percentage. Which means that from 80% to 90%, the growth percentage gets smaller.

From 90% to 100%, even if Drayan ate 30 evolved creatures, it wouldn't be able to raise 3%.

Drayan had achieved a 10% increase in cell percentage after he picked up 11% modified nutrients to feed his cells. 11% of modified nutrients, increased the level of your cells by 10%. It was very little nutrient, but since it was nutrients from a modified creature, the percentage increased a lot. Drayan now had 21% modified nutrients in his body. And it could have more nutrients, however...

Drayan split 60% of the meat. Drayan allowed 'Darkening' to eat 15%, 'Grassh' to eat 8%, and his modified 'Killer fish' to eat 5%. Drayan took the remaining 32% of the body. Fang body would be disintegrated, on the third day in the morning. Drayan had to eat the body before the third day arrived, and since he couldn't eat such a large body in such a short time by himself, he made the division.

If the Fang were a mutated creature, it could last a week before it started to disintegrate and turn to ash.

Drayan had already recovered from his injuries from fighting the Smiling Fang, thanks to the modified nutrients he acquired, and used to feed his cells, which made his body recover faster.

If Drayan depended on nutrients from evolved beings, it would take four days or more for him to fully recover from his injuries from fighting the Fang.

Drayan was a little hesitant about going to a new city. He finally got the Smiling Fang out of his way, and now he could to arrive the city of 'Dallen'.

But Drayan had a bad feeling in his chest.

The Fang, for some reason, always hunted Drayan when he came within a 3 kilometer radius near the city of 'Dallen'.

Which was confusing in itself as to why Fang did it. But apparently, Fang wanted to prevent Drayan from reaching the city of 'Dallen'.

That's why Drayan was unsure about leaving the city of 'Becke' and going to a new city, in which he didn't know what kind of creature he might encounter in the next city.

Drayan was looking for a creature stronger than Fang, as Cent now got stronger after eating Fang ribs, and Drayan has acquired Smiling Fang microorganisms in order to summon him.

Drayan was quite confident that there was hardly a creature that could fight these two.

Alongside the Smiling Fang and Cent, Drayan could hunt high level modified level creatures.

Perhaps only an adult mutated creature could defeat Cent and Fang together.

But even if he had these two on his side, Drayan is still just a human with an evolved body, if he took 3 or 7 hits from a modified creature, he could die.

Just one hit from a modified creature would make it difficult for him to move. Drayan still remembered having his ribs broken after taking a blow from the Smiling Fang.

Sending Cent and Fang to kill creatures he cannot kill shows just how weak and incapable Drayan is. And he hates that feeling.

Drayan doesn't like to let the strong fight for him. He prefers to be the strong one, who sees the weak fighting the weak.

If it was possible, Drayan first wanted to know what kind of creature he would have to face in the city of 'Dallen', before going there.

I think I'll send Gaf and Darkening to scour the area. Just to make sure.

It was her safest option. Of course, there was a chance that Gaf or Darkening would die to some creature from the city of 'Dallen', and that would be a huge loss for Drayan, and if the two didn't come back, it would be completely pointless to send them there.

Drayan is unable to summon another modified grasshopper, but he manages to summon another wolf, but losing either of those two would be terrible.

But his life came first, it was a risk he was willing to take.

However, Drayan trusted in the strength of these two. The modified grasshopper ate 8% of Fang flesh, its strength increased, and the mutated wolf ate 15%, so its strength also increased.

The mutated wolf hadn't yet grown to adulthood, nor had it evolved into a four-eyed wolf, but if the wolf continued to eat modified meat, it would soon grow, though Drayan didn't know if the wolf could awaken a fourth eye.

Just like the human body, when creatures eat enough meat and have their cells nourished by nutrients, they can evolve their bodies.

Cent is an example of this. Cent was an evolved creature, but after Drayan fed him enough, Cent became a level-modified creature.

At first, Drayan fed Cent more than he fed himself, as Cent was his strongest pet. But after Drayan saw that he could lose control over Cent, Drayan stopped feeding Cent.

The wolf is a creature that was born at the mutant level. A creature of original mutant level, it takes longer to evolve its cells and reach a new stage of power, therefore the evolution of Darkening is slower than a creature of mutant level that was not born in mutant level.

But on the other hand, a creature that was born at the mutant level is stronger than a creature that evolved to the mutant level.

Drayan was willing to give the wolf a lot of food, even if the wolf took a long time to become an adult.

Drayan had already seen the mother of the 'Darkening', in her adult phase. The female was the same size as the modified grasshopper. What does it mean that mutated wolves were a small race? Not exactly, it depended on the food.

As Darkeing fed on modified meat, he will be able to grow much larger than his mother, who must have only eaten evolved beings.

Drayan doesn't know how big a mutated wolf that evolved with modified flesh can become when it's an adult, but it's sure to be bigger and stronger than the adult Smiling Fang.

Losing the mutated wolf before it becomes an adult will sink Drayan heart into grief, but Drayan has high expectations of the Darkening ability to survive.

Mutant creatures are more intelligent than modified creatures. With his strength and intelligence, Darkening manages to get out of sticky situations.

Drayan trusts that there must not be a creature that can so easily kill the 'Darkening' in the city of 'Dallen'. Also, if a human tried to hunt the Darkening, the wolf could manage to get away with its speed.

Perhaps, the Darkening will be able to come back alive if he goes to the city of 'Dallen'. And Grassh, as he can fly, can escape using the height to his advantage, in case something happens.

With these two, it will only take three days for some neighborhoods in the city to be mapped. The less time they stay in that city, the better.

That was Drayan thinking. He decided to send the two together, to finish the analysis of the city faster. Drayan was quite a hasty person at times.

But he knew the moments when he should calm down and wait. If need be, Drayan would be the most patient person in the world.

While waiting in the town of 'Becke', Drayan decided to test out summoning the Smiling Fang.
