"You beast, do you even know what you're doing?" Autumn Yuan Kuan shouted, looking furious.

"Yuan Kuan, calm down. Xiao Yang is young and ignorant. Just forgive her this once," Lu Meizhen hurriedly patted her husband's back to soothe him, continuing to play the role of a gentle stepmother.

"It's because you've been protecting her, indulging her, and tolerating her, that she's become more and more outrageous over the years, and has done such vulgar things," Autumn Yuan Kuan was truly furious, spinning around in place out of anger. Autumn Ling smirked, lightly laughing. This was the funniest joke she had heard all year.

"Alright, stop crying," Autumn Yuan Kuan sincerely felt sorry for his wife, his voice softening slightly. "I was just angry for a moment and didn't blame you. If it weren't for you taking care of this family for me over the years, who knows what mess it would have turned into?"

"I don't ask for anything, as long as you can understand me," Lu Meizhen wiped away her tears, turning her sobbing into a smile.

"Is the lovey-dovey act over?" Autumn Ling coldly smiled. "If it's over, just tell me what you want from me."

Seeing Lu Meizhen pretending in front of her father, Autumn Ling felt disgusted to the point of wanting to vomit.

"What's with your attitude? Huh? What's your attitude?" Autumn Yuan Kuan stood up angrily, pointing at Autumn Ling. "Your mother died early, do you think your father is dead too?"

"Don't mention my mother. You're not qualified," Autumn Ling stared at Autumn Yuan Kuan, unable to control the hatred in her heart when her mother was mentioned. "If it weren't for you two, how could my mother have died?"

"Nonsense."

"Whether I'm talking nonsense or not, you two know very well."

"Beast!!!"

"Yuan Kuan, don't get angry. Don't forget about today's important matter," Lu Meizhen tried to calm her husband again.

Autumn Yuan Kuan was both angry and disappointed with his unfilial daughter. He tried hard to suppress the anger in his heart.

Lu Meizhen patted her husband's hand, and the two exchanged a glance. She said, "Xiao Yang, your father has arranged a school for you in France and wants you to go there to study and start a new life."

Starting a new life was fake; forcing her to leave A City was true.

"Because of the things you've done, they've had a big impact on the Qiu family," Autumn Yuan Kuan shouted again.

"You mismanaged it yourself, and now you're pushing the blame onto me."

"You!!" Autumn Yuan Kuan picked up the tea cup on the table and threw it at Autumn Ling again.
