Chapter 5 Breaking up with the scum

"Is Elder Brother on a business trip?" Ning Li asked as she sat back.

Old Madam Ning asked softly;

"Why don't you call him and asked or did you two have a fight again?"

Ning Li instantly lowered her head in guilt, she can't believe that she fought with her brother because of that scum.

She really regretted her actions in the past and she herself can't believe that she had once decided to give her virginity to that man.

Old Madam Ning immediately understood when she saw Ning Li's head that was lowered and she looked at her for a while before advising in a low voice;

"You guys shouldn't fight all the time and I want you to know that everything your brother is saying is for your own sake"

Ning Li nodded with a smile and promise;

"Grandma, I wouldn't fight with him anymore and I was still young before so I don't understand why he was sometimes harsh on me but now I can understand that it was because of his concern for me."

Old Madam Ning nodded approvingly with a smile and said;

"Don't worry, when he come back I will teach him a lesson, how can he always talk to you as if you were his subordinate, that characters of his needed to be fixed"

Ning Li smile brightly at her word and also added,

"You are right, Grandma, we have to teach him a lesson on how to talk nicely"

After chatting with Old Madam Ning, Ning Li went to her room however she received a call from an unexpected and at the same time expected, the person was Gu Sheng.

Standing at the airport, Gu Sheng's lips curled into a sneer, which didn't quite match his refined and scholarly aura.

Wearing a white suit, he was so handsome and also look so gentlemanly.

"LiLi, I have been contacting you since when my plane landed but you didn't pick up my call?, Are you busy?" His voice was also gentle to the ear, if it was Ning Li of the day before yesterday, her would have surely beat faster but now she didn't feel anything but only pure disgust.

Ning Li laughed coldly as she threw herself onto the bed and then said casually;

"I was also in City B yesterday"

Gu Sheng seemed surprise as he asked;

"What?, why didn't you tell me?, I would have tour you around since I grew up there" he paused speaking for a moment and continued in an helpless tone ''I miss you so much even though we had a fight and you are the one to blame"

If it was before, she would have surely be happy that he is the one contacting her first when they had a fight which means he love her so much but now she knew that it was because he didn't want to lose his prey to another hunter like himself.

Even though the Gu family was a rich family in City B, however, their wealth is nothing when compared to that of the important family in the capital so he had always been finding a way to elevate his position and one of his best option was through the pampered Miss of one of the richest family, the Nings, who stupidly fell in love with him.

"I thought you were busy" Ning Li said, staring at the ceiling.

"I am not busy whenever it involves LiLi" Gu Sheng replied with a small chuckle.

His voice sounded pure and sincere, making her disgusted him even more. She might have even fallen into his honeyed word if not for the fact that she had caught him in the act.

"What an asshole, he really knew how to toy with one's feelings so much that he nearly got me" she thought with a sneer.

Not in the mood of joking anymore, Ning Li declared coldly,

"Gu Sheng, let break up"

Gu Sheng froze immediately and his footsteps paused. He went silent for a minute and then asked softly;

"LiLi, did... did I do something wrong?, or did something happened?"

'He sure can act' Ning Li thought.

With his tone, one would have thought that he was a paralyzed kid that was abandoned after being greatly taken care off.

Ning Li chuckled coldly and replied;

"Do you think I will fall for your acting anymore?, why don't you become an actor instead since I had enough being your audience anyway"

"What?, and why did you suddenly want to break with me, don't you remember your dream is to marry me and for us to live together forever?"

"C'mon man, are you kidding me?, It is not like you were some cash producing machine and you were not food, why would I want to marry you when there are so many handsome men out there who are not only rich but sexy" she paused for a second and continued "And if you want to hear the reason, then I will give you one even though I don't think I need a reason to break up with a scum like you. Guess what, I actually saw a live s*x, and you and that slut of a girl, Bai Xi, sure make a great couple. With your gentle look and her innocent aura, your children's gene will surely be good"

Gu Sheng was shocked as his mouth was open agape, one thing he really care about was how his dreams wouldn't be shattered.

His plan will soon succeed, he knew that, so he can't breakup with her.

To be honest, he like girls like Bai Xi, who in front of others was gentle and easy going but whenever they are in bed, she was wild and passionate while Ning Li on the hand was the complete opposite.

However, that didn't mean that he really loves Bai Xi, he was only seeking relief from her.

When Ning Li saw that the other side was silent, she said coldly again;

"From now, we didn't know each other and we don't have anything to do with each other, don't ever appear in front of me otherwise you will regret it" then she disconnected the call.

Gu Sheng stood stiffly with his phone in his hand and swore in his heart that no matter what, he will make that arrogant young woman his.

"Since I can make you fall for me once then I can surely make you fall for me again" that was his belief.

However, he didn't know that sometimes when some things are break, it can never go back to the way it was before anymore.

Ning Li let out a sigh of relief and muttered;

"Now, I felt so free"
