Chapter 13 Thank you

"You get a little better at naming I guess" said Ning Lichuan with a chuckle.

Ning Li glared at him and he only smile back at her as he enjoys the warm atmosphere of the family.

After the kids finished eating their meals, Ning Li introduced her brother to them and instantly Hua Hua became his fan while Ning Sihan on the other hand simply pursed his lips and didn't say anything.

"Okay, time to sleep" Ning Li said to the children who were still busy playing games.

"Five minutes more mom" Hua Hua pleaded with her tender voice.

"No five minutes, it is late already" Ning Li walked towards her daughter and snatched her phone away.

"Mom, you are really not cute like this" Hua Hua said softly as she blinked her long eyelashes.

"I don't want to be cute, any problem with that?'' Ning Li pointed at Ning Sihan who was going to sleep already and commented "Your brother is very obedient as a boy but why are you on the other hand not obedient at all"

"He is the elder brother, it is only right for him to be obedient" Hua Hua counterattacked.

Ning Li closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. "Do you want me to carry you to your room?".

"I think that will be good" Hua Hua nodded with a bright smile on her face.

"You really want me to spank you and I will do that right now" Ning Li walked forward to her daughter and raised her hand up and instantly, Hua Hua smiled in a flattering manner. "Mom, I am just kidding, why do you have to be sooo mean?"

Hua Hua instantly ran to her room after saying this.

"Good night, Uncle" Her voice came from her room.

Ning Lichuan chuckled slightly "Good night, Little flower"

"What a stubborn kid" Ning Li muttered.

"You've become more patient" Ning Lichuan commented.

"It is not like I have a choice"

Ning Lichuan nodded at her words and after a minute of silence, he asked "When are you going to come and see grandma and the twins?"

"I think I will come to the mansion tomorrow" Ning Li replied.

Ning Lichuan nodded in response and then checked his wristwatch, "It is ten already, I think I will leave now"

Ning Li nodded and stand up "Let me walk you out"

"Why are you treating me like a stranger?, c'mon, don't make me feel awkward"

Ning Li sighed and explained, "No bro, I am not treating you like a stranger"

"Then, I will be leaving and don't forget to go to the mansion tomorrow"

"Sure, good night" Ning Li said softly as she gaze at her brother's back.

After Ning Lichuan left, Ning Li received a phone call from Tang Zhi and she instantly picked it up.

"Girl, what do you think about the gift I send to you?" Tang Zhi's cheerful voice rang in the quiet living room.

Ning Li glared at her and Tang Zhi smile at her brightly instead, "Since you didn't say anything, then I will shamelessly say that you like the gift"

"Thanks" Ning Li suddenly said which took Tang Zhi by surprise as she blinked her big eyes.

"You...you just thanked me, you are not angry?" or is this the calm before the storm. thought Tang Zhi

"Of course, I am thanking you, if not for you, may be I will still be procrastinating the matter but now, my brother and I has already discussed everything and i will go to the mansion tomorrow" Ning Li explained.

A smile bloom on Tang Zhi's face, "I am glad that you've settled everything, wish you all the best for tomorrow"
