chapter twelve

Diego held the whip and was about to start flogging Henry when someone yelled In the crowd "the princess is trying to commit suicide"he said pointing at the window where Ophelia had jumped from. Diego saw Ophelia falling and he leapt from where he was and caught her just in time before she hit her head on a rock

"Ophelia have you gone mad why would you jump from the window"he yelled at her

Ophelia looked around she was alive he had saved her,she hugged him tight and Diego was surprised "please Diego let's go to the room send this people away please"she pleaded.

Diego pulled away from her and looked at her "what are you saying he almost forced himself on you and you want me to leave him never"he replied.

"I know he deserves to be punished but you don't have to kill me see I am fine please just spare him"she begged.

Diego dropped her on the floor and stood up "no that I cannot Grant you,what will the people say that their prince the most powerful vampire turned to a weakling because of his wife that Is a witch no it won't happen"he replied.

She got up from the floor and dusted her clothes "really fine what do you want in return for this favor"she asked looking straight into his eyes

Diego looked at his wife she was trying to sacrifice herself for Henry he began to feel jealous but he didn't let her see it

"hmm anything you say,well uhmm I want to have you for dinner are you on the menu"he asked licking his upper lip,this made Ophelia's cheeks to turn red

"no I am not please be serious the people are waiting"

"fine I want a kiss from you when we get back to our bedroom"

"deal now please go and release him let him go"she replied.

Diego went back to the courtyard and instructed the guards to take Henry to the dungeon,while Ophelia went back to her room admist the stares of the people.

Ophelia got back to the bedroom and laid down on the bed she was already tired because she was not use to being awake at night she was so tired that she dozed off before Diego came back.

Diego came back and met her sleeping "she looks so pretty when she sleeps the thought of kissing her again is so sweet,like I should just grab her and kiss her right now. No I shouldn't I also want her to enjoy the kiss and ask for more"he said smiling and went to have his bath, he finished and he came out and laid besides her.

Then he saw a strand of her hair on her face and he put it back in the ponytail, Ophelia thinking it was Henry quickly grabbed his hands and almost bit him until she heard his voice and realized it was Diego. "I am sorry I thought it was Henry"she said letting go of his hands

"if I had punished him you would have felt much better"

"no I am fine now

"so what about my kiss"he asked.

Ophelia had forgotten about the promise she had made to him,

"um yeah I haven't forgotten,we can do it in the morning"she said

"no no you said when we get back so here we are"he said moving closer.

"uhmm yes I know I am tired"she was trying to make up excuses but Diego wasn't buying any of it.

"if I kiss you all your fatigue will go away"

"I would have love to do it but the truth is that I don't know how to kiss"she said looking at the ceiling.
