CHAPTER 14:QUIRK TEST

KAITO POV

Walking to UA Highschool with Kodai and Kendo as we promised in the early morning, due to both girls ask for my number and I give them.

"So you are in class 1-A Kaito?" Kendo ask me as I nod my head.

"Yeah," I replied.

"Oh. That is bad since we cannot become classmates." Kendo says with a sad tone.

"We can eat lunch together you know," I tell her making her perk up hearing that.

"That is right. Ne, Kodai-chan, I hope we will be able to make friends in our classroom." Kendo says to Kodai who just nods her head as we step into our school.

Searching for our classroom is not that hard as our classroom is just next to each other.

"See you during lunch Kaito," Kendo says to me.

"Okay," I reply as both girls enter their classroom as I approached the door of my classroom.

"This is it. Time to see if Mineta is here or not?" My hand open the door of my classroom as I am greeted by the sight of a green nerd with a familiar brown-haired girl making me somehow annoyed as these guys are blocking my way to enter the classroom.

"Oi nerd. Get out of the way. You are blocking the way." I said with a loud tone making Deku who yelp in fear upon hearing my voice.

"H-Higurashi-kun." He called me as I did not spare a glance as my eyes trailed to my classmates.

There are the humanoid Pikachu, a stuck up student, a red-haired boy, that dashing blond guy, the tailed one, the frog girl, the animal-loving guy, the invisible girl, the tape boy, the a is girl, the bird guy, the many hand guy, the purple bone haired girl, the sugar Irish quirk guy, the son of a flaming hero, a rich girl and a certain ash-blonde student who looks want to kill me.

Adding their number to us 3, me, Deku and Uraraka is 20 students here so yeah, Mineta is not here.

Probably did not exist or enter other heroes school, whatever, no one cares about that pervert anyway.

"Higurashi?" Mutter Kaminari.

"Wait. That is the guy who gets the highest score surpassing All Might in the practical exam." Kirishima says making the others look at me as I walk past Deku ignoring the familiar yellow sleeping bag near the teacher table.

I approached Bakugou as a smirk plastered on my face.

"Well, well look here. Hello, there loser. I see your point is not that many compared to mine." I say to Bakugou who immediately has popped out his veins feeling angry over my insults.

"Huh?!Because you have those Rescue Points?! You are just lucky you get the first place in the exam!" He says to me.

"But you still lose to me Bakugou. Geez. That is 2 win for me and 0 for you." I tell him with a teasing tone as he is about to grab my collar but then a cough catches our attention, no I already know it as the Erasing quirk hero decide to show himself in his sleeping bag.

"If you want to fight, then at least wait for the Battle Trial brats," Aizawa says to us as Bakugou back down but his glares never leave me as I sit behind Deku who look confused seeing Aizawa.

"He is probably guessing which hero is our homeroom teacher is." I thought in my mind.

"Hmm, it took 8 seconds to calm down, I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta, pleasure meeting you." He took off his sleeping bag and took something from his sleeping bag, "Wear these immediately and then shove off to the P.E. grounds, also that kid, stop sleeping."

Bakugou is not feeling very happy right now because of many reasons.

First, he got placed second in the practical exam which pisses him very much as he loses to someone.

Second, the someone he loses is the person he loath the most, Higurashi Kaito who got a whopping 120 points surpassing All Might's previous record, 115 points. He is supposed to surpass All Might not Higurashi Kaito.

Third, Deku somehow gets a fairly amount of points making him wonder if he cheats through his way during the exam.

Or Deku hides the fact he has a quirk that he did not show toward him.

Fourth, because he is in the same class as Deku who he feels angry towards, because of Higurashi Kaito who has that smug expression on his face with him calling him a loser which male him piss at that boy.

"Whatever. I am going to surpass him one day and show him the strongest." Bakugou thought in his head while changing to the uniform that his teacher asks to.

"Uwaa. I am in the same class as Kacchan and Kaito." Izuku thought in his head knowing both of them will pick a fight as even in the middle school, they will start a fight with Kaito will win during their fight.

"But still, All Might says to me that Kaito probably is the strongest in our classroom. And look at his points in the practical exam, he even surpassed All Might's record while I only get 60 points from the Rescue Points." He grips his fist remembering he almost fails to enter UA had it is not for Uraraka who decide to give him some of her points.

"Why our teacher asks us to change it into these uniform, Besides who the heck is he? I never see Pro Heroes like him?" Izuku thought in his head.

"So that is the one who beat All Might's record?" Shoto Todoroki, son of Endeavour or his real name, Enji Todoroki thought in his head.

"Endeavour throws a tantrum when he heard someone break All Might's record. Hmmp. He did not look tough." Shoto thought in his head while remembering his father words.

"Shoto. I want you to beat this Higurashi Kaito in a battle. Proves to him that you are stronger than him since you have my blood and quirk in your body."

Just remembering his father's reminder make Shoto click his tongue.

"So this is the guy who gets the first place in the practical exam huh? Kirishima thought in his head while looking at Kaito who now is hanging to the uniform that their homeroom teacher asks to.

" He is ripped. More than I am." Kirishima thought in his head.

"No wonder he is so strong."

"Wow! What the heck is this guy? He is like All Might except with Black hair and shorter." Kaminari thought in his head as Kaito is beside him.

"So flashy, his body is." Aoyama thought in his head seeing Kaito's ripped body.

KAITO POV

"Why the heck I get the feeling all these guys think something of me?" Kaito thought in his head.

Ilda then approaches me.

"Greetings. I believe I never introduced myself toward you. My name is Tenya Ilda, nice to meet you." Tanya introduces himself to me.

"Nice to meet you too Tenya-san. So you are Ingenium's little brother huh?" I say him.

"Do you know him?" He asks me.

"Yeah. I mean he is pretty famous due to his heroic actions." I tell him.

"You are right indeed. My brother is very here. I am inspired to become like him. Yesterday, he has rescued 10 people from being robbed in the alley. " Tenya continued to tell me what his brother does in the previous days.

"Umm. Sorry to interrupt you Tenya, but I believe we need to quickly go to the field. I mean, we did not anger the teacher on our first day." I say to him with him stopping his report.

"You are correct Higurashi-san. Come on everybody, let's hurry to the P.E ground. It is inappropriate to make our teacher wait too long for us." He says like a class leader as I with the others goes to the PE ground as we see the girls are already there.

"Hmm. Not bad. " Aizawa mutters as he coughs gaining our attention.

"So anyway, I am going to conduct a quirk apprehension test right now." He announces making the others few surprises hearing this.

"Huh?!"

"Yeah. You heard me. A test will be conducted right now to determine your place in this school." Aizawa tells us.

"What about the ceremony? And the guidance counsellor meeting?" Uraraka said.

The others seem to nod as if they agreed with Uraraka.

"Not like hearing the ceremony will make us win against Tomura with his League of Villains." I thought in my head while wondering whose power should I choose today.

Well, I already had one that surely secures my first place in this exam.

"If you want to be a hero, we don't have time for a leisurely time," Aizawa said and looked at everyone, "We're going to have a Quirk apprehension test, that test is similar to physical fitness tests, that you have done in the middle school but this time you need to use your Quirk, different in the middle school that you can't use your Quirk."

"This country still hasn't gotten around to standardizing those sorts of records or keeping track of the average performance levels, well, that's the negligence on the part of the ministry of education," Aizawa said, looking at Kaito.

"Kaito, how far could you pitch softball in middle school?" He asks me.

"45 meters. " I replied while honestly, I did not remember what is my record.

Aizawa seems to not believe my answer but he still throws me the softball.

"Hmm. Get in the circle and try to use your Quirk this time around, as long as you don't exit the circle, anything you can do is fine," Aizawa said.

"Okay. " I say while grabbing the ball and enter the circle.

"Authorise Superboy, Smallville Version." I thought in my head as my body feels warm and more powerful under the sun.

Taking a deep breath, my right foot lands on the ground making the ground shake a little bit as a crack occurs in the circle I am in, my right arm then proceed to throw the softball with all my strength causing a shockwave that sends the others to fly backwards with Aizawa manages to land without hurting his back.

"What kind of strength is that?" Sato mutters as the others are simplified and awed at the display of my strength.

Aizawa meanwhile composed himself and look at the device that is used to measure the distance of my football pitch.

"Before anything else, one must know what they're capable of, this is a rational metric that will form the basis of your 'hero foundation'," Aizawa said, and showed the result of my throwing distance.

"Infinity? Are you kidding me?"

"How is that possible?"

"How we can match that?"

Hearing the mutters from the other almost makes me happy knowing they now know who is the strongest in the class right now. I cannot wait for the other tests.

"Awesome! That looks so fun!" The girl with a pink colour said with excitement making me almost slap my forehead as that sentence is the one bring big trouble here.

"Is it interesting?" Aizawa suddenly became gloomy and looked at everyone, "So you planning to spend your three years here with such a happy-go-lucky attitude? Then let me make a new rule, the students who rank the last in total points will be instantly expelled."

They shuddered when they heard his voice.

"You can't do that, we're here to become heroes," Mina said.

"Yes, I don't think that is very reasonable for us to get expelled because of the result of this physical test, we have worked hard to enter this school, I think that is very unreasonable," Iida said while adjusting his glasses.

"I agree with him there. I mean, becoming heroes is a big responsibility since everyone depends on you to rescue their lives." I thought in my head.

"If you want to spend your entire 3 years having a party and fun then you shouldn't have entered this school, if you want to become a hero, you will need to expect to get a lot of hardships," Aizawa had this mock expression on his face and said, "I expect you to overcome this trial and climb to the top."

"Now, hurry up and get ready."

They nodded and had a serious expression on their face, they wouldn't get expelled because of this dumb exam.

"Yeah, except no one is going to get expelled. Geez, chill a little bit guys. Though I can say I also will be like them had I did not watch the anime and read the manga."

First is the 50-meter dash and I get paired up with Tenya of all people as we both shares at each other.

"This guy must completely confident with his speed huh? Well too bad since I am faster than you."

"If I cannot beat Higurashi in strength, then I can beat him with my speed." Tenya thought in his head as they get into their position.

"Get set, ready, go!" The robot announces as I quickly dash to the finish line with Ilda is far behind me.

"1.90 seconds." The robot announces as then Tenya reach the finish line.

"3.04 seconds." The robot announces the time of Tenya who look disheartened seeing I beat him in speed.

"You are quite fast Tenya. Maybe we could race with each other and maybe change some pointers in speed?" I decide to say some nice words to him.

"That is a good idea, Kaito." He says to me with a determined expression on his face.

"What the heck? He also is very fast." Fumikage mutters.

"Unbelievable," Shoji said.

"He is too OP," Sato said.

"I am with you on that," Ojiro said.

Ignoring all their matters get back into the line where everyone will keep glancing at me with some of them are glares from half-ice half got a boy and the explosion boy.

"Oh. Look there, All Might looking out to his successor who is performing terribly in the exam." I thought in my head seeing a familiar skeleton blond man who is trying his best to not be seen by anyone.

"Dude. You are awesome." Kirishima says to me as I look at this crimson-haired teenager.

"What the heck is your quirk exactly?" Denki chimed in with everyone want to hear what is my quirk exactly.

"Word Soul. Able to alter anything around me." I replied simply.

"Whoa. What a strong quirk." Koda mutters as I see it is the turn of the nerd and explosion boy.

It goes like the canon where the green nerd is performing horribly.

"Wow. From the look of it, Deku has the highest chance to fail." I said as Uraraka seems to not agree with me.

"H-he will pass. I am sure of it." She says to me as I did not reply to her knowing that no one is going to be expelled from this classroom.

In the anime, I am unable to watch the scene of them running but now, I can see how Todoroki uses his ice to slide in the 50-meter dash and it take him 3.50 seconds.

He glances at me but I take my eyes off him knowing this guy at the first season is an "emo" guy.

Kaminari meanwhile seems to be doing better than Deku as he manages to finish it 6.70 seconds with Kirishima, despite all his hardening manages to finish it in 6.05 seconds.

Yaoyorozu meanwhile decides to create a rollerblade to make her finish 5.05 seconds. Jiro is 6.80 seconds and Mina uses her acid to slide her to the finish line in 6.00 seconds.

Toru meanwhile is slightly faster than Deku as she finished it in 7.00 seconds with that many hand guys finding it 5 seconds.

The second test is the grip test. And everyone looks at me to know my result. I grasp the hand-held device that reads the force their grip exhibits in kilograms.

*Kraakkk*

And the hand-held device break because of my strength making Aizawa sigh.

" Luckily you did not have to pay for that." He says to me as he takes out another hand-held device.

Shoji is the highest with 540.0 kg with the lowest is Toru, 49 kg.

Bakugou meanwhile surprisingly get 350 kg despite he use explosive to add his force grip with Shoto get 70 kg.

The third test is standing long jump where the students use their Quirks to clear a sandbox designed for a standing long jump. Their distance is recorded.

Mine is far than the sandbox which means I clear the sandbox followed by Bakugou who seems blast his explosion more to compete with my jump distance. Aoyama also passes with his stomach beam with Todoroki uses ice for him to ride and cleared the sandbox.

The only one who did not clear the sandbox is Deku, Toru, Koda, Jiro, Sero and Kaminari.

Next, is Repeated Side Steps where originally Mineta aced the exam with his quirk.

I again am the first to go, as I decided to sidestep very fast like Saitama creating many after images of myself.

I start to sidestep as afterimages start to create as Saitama does in the anime.

"The heck. Afterimages. He most is really fast." Ojiro mutters as Bakugou just grit his teeth seeing this.

"That bastard, I am unable to defeat him in any of this stupid exam today." He thought in his head.

"Higurashi is really strong. Is our gap is that different. Will I be able to match him and achieve my dream to become the Number 1 Hero as All Might does?" Deku thought in his head as his wordy get spotted by Skeleton Might.

"Midoriya-shounen. Do your best." He thought in his head while hoping his successor will be able to pass this exam.

He then stares at Higurashi as he gulps knowing his feat is something that needs to look at.

"If I did not know his quirk, I am sure someone gives him many quirks. Reminding me of that person. Nezu probably now will be surprised because of Higurashi's result in this quirk apprehension test. From the looks of it, his strength may almost match my strength. His speed meanwhile is very fast. But yet he is still a teenager, and when he grows older, he will become stronger than before." All Might thought in his head.

"And here it is. The beginning of Izuku's masochist hero's story by hurting himself using One For All." I thought in my mind as Aizawa just erase his quirk while gives him the pep talk.

"BOOMMMM" Deku throes the ball with a single finger that has One For All that breaks his finger, but yet he is still standing.

"I-I can still stand, Aizawa-Sensei." He says as Aizawa grin hearing that.

"705.3 meters," I mutter as I look at Bakugou who get 705.2 meters.

"Hey Bakugou, look like Deku defeat your record. Shame on you, you lost to me and Deku." I said to him as it only makes him angrier as he lung to Deku wanting to ask him what the heck is his quirk.

"Damn it, stand down brat. You are making my eyes dry." Aizawa grumbled while holding Bakugou and at the same time erase the explosion, not a quirk.

"Damn it, what the heck is this thing?!" He says as Aizawa throws him back toward us.

Then we do the remaining exam as the last one is a distance run where Yaoyorozu create a rollerblade to do this test while I keep running surpassing all of them while saying Captain America's words that piss Falcon so much.

"On your left," I say to Bakugou who immediately uses his explosion to blast himself forward to chase me.

"Wait for me, you bastard!" He shouted as the others quickly make a way for the rampaging explosion boy for him to chase me which fails.

"Slowpoke," I say to Shoto who I can tell is angry hearing this as he immediately creates an ice slide to chase after where the others take advantage of this.

"Failure," I said to Deku who frown hearing this as he decided to use the ice ground to slide to have a better chance to not get the last place.

"You guys are slow as a turtle," I say to the others as they erupt in anger hearing this as they try their hard to chase me as I am now circling the ground more than 10 times with Aizawa is sleeping on the ground.

Geez, he likes to sleep. I mean,with a quirk that makes your eyes dry quickly with him has to go underground night to investigate something or beating villains, which of course make him sleepy everyday.

Heroes did not have time for a vacation unless the villain decides to take a vacation too.

The test ended with my classmates felt so exhausted due to them keep trying to chase me because of my mockery who keep saying they are like turtles making them always run to chase me whenever I pass them.

As for Bakugou and Todoroki, well they are very pissed with me right now as I defeated them in all of the exams.

"So anyways students, here are the results," Aizawa announces to us as we all look at the result of this quirk apprehension test.

"As expected, I get the first place as always." I thought in my mind as I flash a cocky smirk toward Bakugou and Shoto who frown in anger seeing my expression.

"Tsk. That arrogant bastard. This is the third, no I already lost to him many times." Bakugou thought in his mind as he feels angry lose to Kaito once again.

"Damn it. He is so strong. Not a single test I ever win against him." Shoto thought in his kind while feeling dread of what his father going to do once he knows this.

"Damn Higurashi, you are too strong," Kirishima said to me as I just smile hearing that.

"You too aren't bad. " I said to him as I take a look at Izuku who now has the mindset of him has been expelled due to him is at the last place.

"I forget to tell you this but the expulsion is a lie. No one is going to get expelled today." Aizawa causally announces to us making the others except me, Bakugou, Shoto and Momo to widen their eyes hearing that.

"EHHHHHHH?!!!!" The others made a sound as Deku let out a breath of relief hearing he will not be expelled

"After all it is rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your quirk." He continued with his sadistic grin.

"Come on guys, have you thought of this possibility?" Momo said to us until I smirk.

"Apologise Yaoyorozu-san but Aizawa-sensei here did not lie about him expelling students here. Right sensei, I mean you expelled the whole class of the previous 1-A right?" I say to him as the others look at him wanting for him to answer my question.

"You are right. I did expel the previous class 1-A since they have Zero Potential."Aizawa replied making theirs gasp in surprise with the rich girls is the same.

" But you guys on the other have the potential to become a hero. So see you tomorrow and prepared for the other lesson class. Okay, class dismissed. Change back to your school uniform quickly." He says to us as he walks away leaving us.

"Ah. Lunch already over. Damn it. I am now very hungry right now." I say loudly as I sped up to the changing room to wear my study uniform back as I pack up my P.E uniform and stores them in my locker.

The others follow me but I already walkout from the changing room to the cafeteria to have lunch as my stomach now is demanding for it to be fulfilled.

Arriving at the cafeteria, I can see students already in there but there are many empty tables, after all, lunch break is almost over.

I go to the Pro Hero "Lunch Rush" and order my favourite food of all time, Omelette Rice, a large amount of rice with bigger Omelette.

"Hoho. You sure are a hungry young man." The hero says to me as he proceeds to make my food as I grab mineral water for a drink.

My food has been prepared as I quickly grab the serving as I search for Kendo and Kodai.

"Hey, Kaito. Over here." I heard Kendo shout to me as I only see her, Kendo and a blonde girl with 2 horns.

I approach the table as I put down my serving.

"Sorry. I need to take a quirk apprehension quirk test." I say to them as I immediately est my omelette rice.

"Heh. Your whole class do it during the ceremony huh? Wonder if our class will hold it too." Kendo mutter as I quickly finish eating the omelette rice as not 5 minutes pass, the plate that consists of omelette rice is now gone as I an now drinking the mineral water in one gulp.

"Whoo. Now that makes me happy." I mutter.

"So what is the test about?" Kendo ask me as I proceed to tell the girls what the test exactly.

"What? So your a teacher threatened your class to expelled the one who gets the last place where he wants you guys to try your best to use your quirks to their upper limit I'm the test." Kendo summarised making me nodded my head.

"Yeah. I get first place." I tell them.

"Well, no wonder since your quirk is very powerful," Kodai says to me.

"Every quirk is powerful if you use it smartly," I tell them as they seem to take note of my sentence.

And that is how my first day in U.A.Highschool I aced will the exam and get the first place in the quirk apprehension test.

Not a bad day for me in this new world.
