No mercy

'Well, since that's done, let's get ready to leave, I guess,' Akuma thought while starting to leave and go outside again. But then he stopped. It hit him that he still looked like a little kid because of his transformation. Maybe he can use this as an advantage. Nobody would suspect a kid to have superhuman strength, would they?

When he got outside, he looked around to see if anyone had seen him get out of this warehouse. Luckily, nobody was here to see him get out. When he found out nobody was there, he started going back to his home. But right when he started going home, he smelled something. It was a delicious smell; it was intoxicating. His senses tried to over take him again, but he didn't allow them to like last time. So he tried to ignore it.

'It's nothing, right? It's absolutely nothing,' Akuma thought while trying to ignore the smell he got. But he just couldn't take it, he couldn't control his desires as a brand new demon. So he started running in the direction he thought the smell came from.

"Get the kid in the van," A man said to another who had a balaclava on and you could see he was slightly bleeding on his hand.

"Okay, boss," Another man answered, putting a black-haired girl forcibly into a van.

The black-haired girl had a tape covering her mouth and was tied, making her unable to move or even scream to ask for help.

"We got paid good money for this, don't hurt her, the buyer didn't want a single injury on her," the boss said to his underlings. They started to slowly put the girl in the back of the van and made one of the kidnappers stay there to keep watch.

"Lanky, keep watch of the girl while we look around and see if anybody sees us." The boss said this to the lanky person in the group.

"Alright, boss," The lanky man answered back.

Lanky kidnapper pov:

I made my way to the back of the van and sat next to the girl. And saw the boss slowly leave my sight. But then I heard some muffled sounds from the girl next to me.

"Stop making noise and just be quiet," I said to the girl with a stern and intimidating tone. But the girl didn't seem to listen and kept making the same noises.

"I said shut up and be quiet," I yelled at her, trying to make her stop making those noises.

I didn't like kidnapping people, but it was the only way I could pay for my daughter's medical bills. My current job didn't offer me enough money to pay for them. It felt horrible to take another person's daughter away from them, knowing that I also had a daughter that I never wanted to be taken away from. But I had to do it; I had to help my daughter and my family survive.

I saw the girl's scared face; she was crying, but I wouldn't help her if I did. I don't know if I could do this anymore. Making a connection in my line of work was horrible. It was something you wouldn't want, so I simply ignored her sadness and tried my best to show a tough and scary face. But I couldn't take it. My morals couldn't take seeing a girl around the age of my daughter like this.

"Calm down, we won't hurt you, neither I nor my boss will do anything to you, everything will be fine," I said to her, lying but trying to sound tough.

The girl's face became slightly less scared, and she stopped crying at least. 'I did my best; let's hope your buyer at least treats you right,' I thought with hope.

Boss kidnapper pov:

Me and my men started to walk away, leaving Lanky behind to watch over the girl. We had gotten paid a lot of money for this job, and I wasn't going to risk anything.

I started to search to see if anyone saw us kidnap the girl. I didn't want anyone to know it happened before it was too late.

"Boss, how much more do we have to search?" One of my members said to me with a tired tone.

"Not much longer, just a few more places to make sure we checked everything we don't want any bastards knowing we did this," I said to my underling in a commanding tone.

We started searching and found nothing until we made it to the last place we had to search. We slowly made our way towards the last location and started checking it.

"Boss, are there supposed to be two purple orbs here?" One of my underlings asked me with a questioning tone.

"What do you mean two purple orbs, you fool? What are you talking about?" I asked him with a mocking tone.

"Well, there are two purple orbs there," He said, pointing at a certain location, making me look there and actually see the two orbs he was talking about. 'What was that? Was it just the lights?'

But then something dashed at us; it seemed like a small humanoid monster that killed one of my underlings in a matter of seconds with its claws. I was truly scared—what was that thing, and how did it kill him so fast? I couldn't move, but I had to do something.

"Fight him, you damn morons you have guns for a reason." I screamed at them while being terrified. The next second, I heard gunshots, and I started to run away, leaving my underlings to take care of me. I was truly terrified I had to get away. That thing wouldn't die from a mere gun, would it?

Akuma pov:

When I made my way towards the smell, I heard a few people talking, and it was directly where the perfect smell was, so I made my way there and jumped on a building.

I saw kidnappers. It was shocking. And they seemed to be kidnapping a girl who had black hair.

They seemed to be talking about a seller and not injuring her, then I stared at what seemed to be the boss of the group, whose hand was bleeding.

'So that's what that smell was,' I thought, looking at the man's bleeding hand.

After that, I saw that they started to check everything to see if nobody saw them, so I started following them. While thinking of something.

'Am I really going to kill them?' Was the only thing I was thinking about the life of a criminal any less valuable than others? I already knew the answer. I simply wanted to give myself a reason to do it, knowing that it was not a good thing to do. But what was good, and what was truly bad? I didn't know, so I decided and just went with it. I was going to kill them not because they were criminals but just because I am the person I am, even if it slowly makes me a monster.

So I started following them like a predator, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And then it happened they wanted to take a narrow path. It was the perfect moment to strike.

I jumped down, letting only my violet eyes be seen. I heard one of the underlings talking about purple orbs, but I simply ignored it, readying myself to take the next step, knowing full well this dash would decide my life. So I did it. I dashed at one of the underlings and clawed at his face multiple times, killing him.

Next, I stared at another underling, reading myself to kill him.

"It's just a kid; what the hell is it? How is it so strong?" One of the underlings screamed scaredly, readying his gun and shooting at me.

I dodged the bullet, not wanting to be hurt, and dashed at him, kicking his head off. When I looked for my next target, I saw the 'boss' running away. But I didn't mind; I just needed to kill these underlings first.

"He killed large! What the hell, this isn't a kid, it's a monster!" Another screamed, running away.

I noted that they were using code names and not their actual names to keep this all a secret. But I didn't care. I rushed at the one who was running away and killed him by breaking his skull again with a kick. Now there were only two people over the boss: an underling. The boss and underling were running away, but I saw that the boss was further away, so I dashed at the underling first and killed him by making my nail sharper and piercing through his brain. Then it was the boss's turn.

I ran towards him at speeds that shouldn't be possible, and I was now in front of him.

"Why, Why did you do it?" I questioned him, glaring at him, making him seemingly scared.

"I did it for money, like any other person would, and I had to do it." He screamed at me, terrified.

"I see, then just die," I said to him, killing him with a quick uppercut. After that, I made my way towards the van and opened the van's cargo. Seeing a lanky man and the girl

"Calm down, we won't hurt you, neither I nor my boss will do anything to you; everything will be fine," I heard him say.

This man seemed to be better than the rest. But that meant nothing, as he himself didn't have the right to judge this man or the people I had killed.

"Let her go and leave, and I may spare you," I said to him with a commanding tone.

"A child, what are you doing here? It's dangerous, and why are you covered in blood?" He said with confusion.

"I said leave or die," I said with a commanding tone.

Then I saw that the man noticed something that made him leave. I stared at the man before he disappeared, making me look closely at the girl. untying her and removing the tape from her mouth.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much." The girl said she was hugging me, to my surprise, she was way taller than me because I was still in my child form. I started patting her back, trying to make her stop crying.

"It's okay, they won't come back anymore; are you okay?" I asked in a kind tone that was different from before.

"I'm fine, it was really scary, I thought I was gone for sure," She said to me with tears still in her eyes.

"What's your name?" I asked her.

"Oh, it's momo yao-" She was about to say but she was cut off by the sound of a gun.
