Izuku and Bakugo were heading out when they met up with Mei. The three of them then went to school, all the way there however, Izuku was silent. "Everything alright Izuku?" Asked Mei.
Izuku snapped out of his thoughts, "Huh, oh yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking about some stuff. Like if you finished your homework?" Mei said nothing. "Mei?"
"I finished it, don't worry. Still can't believe they gave me homework after what happened, while you guys got nothing." Said Mei, pouting slightly.
Izuku laughed, "It's just the way things are."
As they talked Bakugo was looking at the both of them back and forth. 'Something happened between these two. Suddenly calling each other by their first name, being more friendly to each other?' Bakugo smirked, 'And I need to find out what.'
Now in school Izuku sat in his seat waiting for homeroom to start. He looked around at his class to see them talking amongst themselves like they used to, 'Good, I was worried they might have been scared after the attack.'
Izuku then felt a tap on his shoulder, turning around Izuku found Uraraka, "Hey Midoriya, good to see you're alright."
"Thanks Uraraka, and yeah I'm all better now thanks to Recovery Girl and some super speed healing." Said Izuku. "What about you? I heard there were some injuries."
Uraraka nodded, "Yeah a few cuts and bruises but nothing to major. Except for Bakugo, but he was healed up quickly too."
"That's good to hear, so who do you think is going to teach while Mr. Aizawa is in the hospital?" Asked Izuku.
"Don't know, from what I heard he was hurt pretty badly. I assume another teacher would just take over while he recovers." Said Uraraka.
As the two talked Bakugo watched them and couldn't help shake off the feeling that Izuku was hiding something. But before he could think any further the doors to the room opened up and in walked a very bandaged up Aizawa.
"What the hell!" Yelled out the entire class. Aizawa was wrapped from head to toe in bandages, and his arms were in casts.
"Welcome everyone, good to see you all made it out alive." Said Aizawa in a muffled voice thanks to the bandages.
"Umm Mr. Aizawa, no offense but should you really be here right now?" Asked Mina. "You should be resting."
"While I appreciate the concern, it's also not needed at this moment. You guys have something else that will need your full attention." The class started to get worried. "The UA sports festival is in a few days."
The class erupted into cheer, "This is going to be great!" "I can't wait to show off what I can do!"
Everyone celebrated, well everyone but Izuku. Bakugo turned to find Izuku with a blank expression on his face, 'Right, I forgot, aunty Inko and the nerd made a promise that they would watch the UA sports festival every year, and if he ever got in aunty would be in the stands cheering him on…Ever since aunty died, he hasn't seen the sports festival.'
As they celebrated, Aizawa suddenly let out his aura, shutting up all the students. "As I was saying, we are going to have the sports festival in 2 weeks."
That's when Momo raised her hand, "Sir, are you sure that's the right move? We did just get attacked."
"That was a concern but this year UA will triple the amount of heroes present at the event and search everyone that comes in. We also want to show the villains that no matter what they do, they won't break our spirit." Explained Aizawa. "Also during the festival scouts will be present from agency's around Japan and the world. This will be the perfect chance to show them what you're made of."
Izuku looked at his hands while Aizawa was speaking. 'I'll make sure to win, for you mom.'
