Chapter - 2 New Beginning

A small two-storey house appeared in our sight, as we entered it.

Placing Asuka down, I notice that almost all of the things are already packed.

'According to the memories we were about to move to Musutafu City tomorrow morning'

"*Sigh* Of all the places why there?" I facepalmed.

Watching anime already made me knowledgeable about certain things, and one of these things is if you want to avoid trouble, you should avoid Main Characters, and guess what the MC of this anime lives in Musutafu.

Meaning to say that this city is a magnet for trouble.

"Troublesome" I muttered as I head to the dining table and was about to eat when Asuka stopped me.

"Stoff! Brow wash your handsh firsh" as she gobbles her food.

"Right and stopped talking while your mouth is full" I pushed a glass of water toward her and stood up to wash my hands.

Upon reaching the kitchen sink, I saw a mirror, and then I saw myself.

"Yep I'm bald, and this make-up what is this?" I tried to remove the red markings at the outer corner of my eye, which I'm unable to, thinking it was some sort of gene type of sh*t.

'Not bad for a face' As I was admiring my looks, I tried to smile but hell, I looked like a f*cking thug on an alleyway waiting for someone to drop some robbery bars to.

After washing my hand, I returned to the table and continued my lunch.

I couldn't help but notice how this brat in front of me gobbles food as quickly as a vacuum.

"Slow down no one's gonna steal your food" I couldn't help but say.

*Hmph*

"What did I tell you?" as I pour water onto her glass, and continue to eat.

*Burp*

"Bro I'm gonna try a new technique for my quirk, I've been trying this technique since yesterday" as she hurriedly jump, wash her hands, and ran outside.

"Be careful, and don't go too far!"

"I will!"

"*Sigh* I plan to chill, not take care of a child"

*Sigh*

Couldn't count how many times I sighed, as I cleaned the table and wash the dishes.

After that I sat on the sofa and opened the T.V., then I saw a man walking out from the fire carrying civilians while laughing.

"Fear not. Why? Because I am here."

"That sh*t is good" unknowingly I finished the documentary about All Might the Number One Hero.

Although I still don't like the way villains are only apprehended, but still a good hero nonetheless.

"Brooo I've done it! Bro, bro, bro" All I heard is Asuka yelling at me as I close the T.V. and looked at her, as she grabbed my shirt and pulled me outside.

"Bro, you're not gonna believe it, I, I've done it, the technique that I've been working on"

"Watch" she said, as she points her right hand's index and middle finger like a gun at the can, and a flame bullet appeared, and guess what, it didn't hit the can, instead it hit the bundle of straw which innocently minding its own business at the corner.

"How's that, awesome right?" Blowing the smoke from her fingertips, she looked at me smugly.

"Yeah, it's awesome..."

"I know ri-"

"It's awesome that it didn't even hit the can but instead hit that poor straw bundle over there, put it out" as I pointed at the straw burning.

"Hehehe" as she scratched her head and ran to get a pail of water.

'Maybe I can go with that' I thought as I try remembering the many fire techniques that I've watched from different anime and try teaching them to Asuka.

As Asuka arrive running with a pail of water I stopped in her tracks.

"Asuka try eating the fire instead of putting it out, be careful" I said, and yep you guess it right, I want her to try Natsu Dragneel's ability to eat fire.

I walked towards her as she looked at me confusedly.

"You know what, try producing a small flame and try eating it" I said as she nodded.

She create a small fire using her finger and took a bite.

"Yum" joy written all over her face.

Then she tries eating the fire from the straw.

I looked at her weirdly and asked. "What does it taste?"

"Uhm, a bit sweet and spicy, it's delicious bro you're a genius" She said.

"That bald head of yours looked like the bulb in the cartoon when they got an idea" She added.

"This brat!" I muttered.

"It's getting dark let's go" as we went back inside.

As the sun is about to set, I can feel it, both energy and strength are leaving my body, luckily the previous Ataru practices martial arts as after the death of his father, he believe that you shouldn't always rely on your quirk, there will be enemies who might know your weakness and use it to their advantage, it's better to be prepared.

Although he is still not used to the change in his body, it's just a matter of time before he can fully adapt.

Asuka climbed onto the sofa and opened the TV.

"ALL MIIIIGHT!!! Fear not. Why? Because All Might is here. A New All Might action figure has now arrived..." Asuka stares at the T.V. with stars in her eyes.

'A fan of All Might huh, I guess it's pretty common since even the MC is a fan' I thought.

"Want one?" I asked.

She looked at me and asked "Really Big bro?"

"Of course, I'll buy you one tomorrow" I answered, as she looked at me confusingly.

"What?" I asked.

"Bro I don't want that toy, what I wanted is to have my own toy like All Might" she explained.

"Eh?"

'Now that's completely unexpected, most of the kids probably want a toy of their favorite hero, but this sister of mine wanted an action figure of herself' I laughed in my thought.

'This brat is so random'

"All right I'll make you one" I said as I stood up to prepare for dinner.

"Yey!"

After that, we ate our dinner and told her to sleep early, because we'll be moving out in the morning.

"Goodnight Bro"

"Goodnight" as she headed upstairs.

After I washed the dishes, I clean and packed the remaining stuff.

After all of that work, I headed upstairs and lie on my bed, as I fall asleep.

I wake up in the morning before the sunrise.

"So it's real huh" I muttered as this will be the new beginning.

I headed downstairs and started loading the stuff onto our old farm truck.

A while later another truck came by and I recognized who it belongs to.

Uncle Shigeki, a friend of my father, and Aunt Sanae his wife who lives a few blocks away.

Since he and his wife have no children he asked us if we want to live with them, but the previous Ataru refused, he believe that they can manage on their own, which is right though since he still studies at that time he needed someone to take care of Asuka, so every time he goes to school, he asked Aunt Sanae to look for Asuka while he's in school and fetch her when he returns to which the couple happily agreed.

Now that he finishes high school he can now fully take care of Asuka while farming crops, while the couple visits sometimes.

"Are you sure about your decision kid?" Uncle Shigeki asked.

"Yep Uncle I'm sure of it" I answered as he helped me load some stuff.

"I think Ataru is old enough to handle himself and his sister" Aunt Sanae interjected.

"So what is your plan?" asked Uncle.

"I plan to use Mom and Dad's savings for Asuka's studies and to also start a small cafe" I answered.

Although knowing the price of living here compared to the city, I still proceed with the plan of the previous Ataru, the savings are supposed to be used for my Hero studies in one of the academies in the cities, but after the death of my father, the previous Ataru decided to just study high school here and save the savings for Asuka till this day.

After talking for a couple more, we finally finished loading, and I woke up Asuka in her room.

"Asuka, Asuka, wake up" As I tapped her cheeks lightly, she slowly opened her eyes, and seemed to look at me she said "Bro your head is so bright" as she returned to sleep.

"You brat! Wake up" I opened the curtains and make her sit.

"Kid we'll be moving out, now change your clothes" I said as I pointed to the clothes that I prepared earlier, and headed downstairs.

A while later, Asuka followed suit as Aunt Sanae embraced her saying her goodbyes, while I double-checked our rooms and made sure that we left nothing.

As I was about to go down, I overheard Aunt Sanae telling something to Asuka.

"Asuka remember to always listen to your brother and don't be a headache okay?"

"Okay!" she answered.

'That kid? Behave? Oh please' Can't help but interject in my mind.

After that, we bid farewells and promise to visit once in a while.

As we were munching sweet baked potatoes on our way, I saw some food stalls and stopped by to have a proper breakfast.

After that we proceed on our way, no more stopped overs as the owner of the house we would be buying is waiting.

We will be living near the outskirts of the city which is a bit cheaper compared to the city itself and the owner is in need of money so we bought it much cheaper.

The previous Ataru fortunately pick a very good location which is a bit far from the MC and a bit far from the setting of the story.

Although it was near the outskirts, it was still big and filled with buildings.

Drawing near the location, we saw the owner waving, as I stepped out of the truck he handed the key and the papers and I handed the money as he hurriedly goes away.

Letting Asuka out is like letting a lion cub free, as she ran here and there curious about the new environment.

"Big bro this is good" She smiled and gave me a thumbs up and continue roaming.

After a couple of minutes, I finally finished unloading.

"Hah! This is my new be- this is our new beginning" I smiled.

"Bro you looked happy, so happy that your head brightens the house"

*Sigh*
