Chapter 28: USJ Arc (3)

~Third POV~

[U.A. High School, USJ, Japan]

A bus was seen going around the U.A. high school as the bus carried over a bunch of kids from the newest generation of heroes Shinso wearing the U.A. training uniform and the rest of the students wearing their costumes.

The teacher of the classroom was Aizawa, their homeroom teacher, as he oversaw showing the U.S.J. building. As soon as the bus stopped, they all arrived at the destination of their supposed 'practice' training during a disaster.

The Unforeseen Simulation Joint, often abbreviated as U.S.J., is a training facility located in U.A. High School as its purpose is to train Hero students for disaster rescue. Additionally, the building is equipped with sensors to detect intruders.

Just as the students entered the big building of the place all of them were very excited seeing the buildings as they yelled out with clear surprise, "Is this U.S.J. or something!!? Amazing!!!"

However, upon seeing the two people Aizawa mentioned Ren's eyes briefly widened seeing the other one in a surprised tone, 'Wait… that's Lady Nagant! I guess Nezu helped her out. This changes a few things.'

Next was the space hero No.13 starting to discuss what is inside the building with the students of class 1-A in a calm tone, "Flood wrecks. Landslides. Fires etc. etc. This is a practical training area I created to stimulate all kinds of accidents and disasters, and its name is the ultimate space for jams!!"

The students are very happy to meet up with Space Hero No.13 as they fan out as Aizawa begins to ask Lady Nagant where All Might, in a serious tone, is, "Hey, Nagant. Where's All Might? He should be here around this time."

Lady Nagant replied to Aizawa's question as she began to explain his condition she raised three fingers at him in a hushed tone, "From what I was told, sensei it looks as though he'd been out hero-ing while commuting up until his time was up."

However, thanks to Jiro's quirk [Earphone Jack] she managed to express a confused expression hearing the two conversations as she thought to herself, 'His time is up? What exactly is that supposed to mean? Is All Might alright?'

Ren also hears this but just prepares himself mentally about what is going to happen as he thinks to himself in a neutral tone, 'Sigh… I guess Jiro managed to hear them that never happened in the show before but that just confirms that this is no longer a show but reality now. Good that means everything I prepared myself for isn't in vain.'

Aizawa scoffs at this as No.13 begins to explain to the students about her quirk in a serious tone, "I'm certain you're all already quite aware, but my quirk is called [Black Hole]. No matter what material may get sucked into its vortex, I'm afraid it will turn to dust."

Ochaco began discussing how great the space hero quirk is for disaster-type situations in an excited tone being a fan of rescue heroes, "Now that's a quirk that's perfect for removing wreckage and saving people injured by disasters."

No.13 agrees with Ochaco as she then explains to them all about the power of her quirk can easily do bad, "Yes… It's, however, a power that could also easily be used to kill people. And in that way, it's no different from the quirks of everyone here."

No.13 began to explain to the students the importance of quirks viewed and used in their society in a serious tone getting their attention, "Naturally in this society of superhumans, quirks are strictly regulated, and the requirements for their lawful use enforced. We can tell briefly that is the make-up of this world."

The students were intently listening in to what the space hero had to say as she continued, she motioned over to Aizawa in a serious tone, "That being said, please don't forget that each of you possesses a quirk that can go awry. One wrong step is all it takes to be able to kill others accidentally. During Mr. Aizawa's physical test, you learned of your respective power's true potential. And during All Might's trial of battle, I think you took away a true sense of the danger of brandishing those against one another."

No.13 began to look towards all the students they began to smile at her as she finished off her words of advice to them in a determined tone, "This lesson will serve as a fresh start! Let's get to studying about how to wield our quirks for the sake of human life! Your quirks emphatically do not exist to hurt others! Please leave this exercise having fully understood that your quirks exist to help people!"

With that, the space hero took her chance to bow to the students for listening to her finishing her stern explanation, "That is all! You have my gratitude for listening so intently and patiently!"

A few of the students began to express their words of gratitude to the space hero with a few words, "That was awesome! Bravo!! Bravoo!!"

As Aizawa was looking at his students he heard a sound from the middle of the building and taking a glance he saw that there was a small purple vortex appearing out of nowhere as a hand was shown out of it.

*Swirl*

Ren seeing this moves closer to Shinso and Tsuyu preparing for what's to come as he readies himself for battle already. Aizawa seeing this started as Tomura came out eerily looking at the students and teachers' heroes in the area with clear malice.

Sensing something bad going to happen immediately ordered the students and No.13 to defend themselves from the sudden appearance of villains in an alarmed tone, "Huddle together and don't move! No.13!! Lady Nagant!! Protect the students!"

As the villains were popping out of the purple mist one of the students Kirishima asked in a confused tone in his voice, "What is that!? Is this like that training pattern at the entrance exam?"

However, they get a harsh answer from Aizawa as he puts on his goggles with clear worry in his voice stoically saying, "Don't move! Those are villains!!!!!"

Just as Kurogiri was beginning to reform himself to normal, he began to analyze the situation as he responds to Tomura with an emotionless tone, "… Eraser Head, No.13 and Lady Nagant… according to the teachers' curriculum we procured yesterday Mr. All Might was supposed to be here, and yet…"

Lady Nagant activated her Quirk [Rifle] looking at the scene with clear dissatisfaction, as she responded in a grim tone, "I knew it. So yesterday was the doing of you lots…"

Tomura was annoyed by the situation as he observed the area clearly while ranting to them in a childish tone, "Where is he… we went through all this trouble and rustles up so many of us to bring along you can't tell me All Might… the symbol of peace… isn't here… I wonder if he'll show up if we kill the kids?"

The young heroes are observing the scene with clear, scared expressions while others are annoyed by the scene. Ren analyzes the situation as he sees a large number of villains in the area, and he gets ready to help if needed as he uses [Observe] on them.

[Tomura Shigaraki (Tenko Shimura) Lv.? Villain]

[Kurogiri (Oboro Shirakumo) Lv.? High-End Nomu]

[Nomu (USJ) Lv.? Upper-Tier Nomu]

The students began to discuss with their teachers as they asked for the security system for intruders but couldn't get help, but they concluded what was going on with their brains to realize that the villains came intending to ambush.

Aizawa sensing the situation going bad then commanded his students and teachers about their escape in a serious tone, "No.13, do the evacuation procedure! And try calling the school! These villains know how to get around the sensors! There's a chance there's an electro-wave type guy who'll try interfering!"

The students were shocked but as Shinso told his sensei that he was fighting alone Aizawa clearly in a shocked tone, "Sensei!? Are you gonna fight them alone!? Even if you suppress all their quirks, there are so many of them!! The battle style of Eraser Head is to capture villains after erasing their quirks. Meaning, the main battle starts now…"

*BANG*

A shot from a rifle shot from Lady Nagant instantly pierced through some villains in a serious tone, supporting Eraser Head, she voiced out to the kids in a serious tone, "Kids take this lesson to heart. A hero always has more than one trick up their sleeves! No.13, I'm counting on you!"

Just like that Aizawa jumps in the middle from the high point of the entrance as he holds his battle scarf towards them. At first, the long-range squad of villains at first laughed it off as foolishness but…

*BANG*

The villain was cut off by a sniper attack from Lady Nagant as she spoke in a neutral tone getting the student's attention, "Go and leave. Leave this to the professionals now!!"

*BAM*

After warning them Aizawa managed to get the two of the villains tied in his scarf as he bashed them together from the force knocking them out of the fight as they were caught off guard.

Then one of the villains began to tell the fools about Aizawa's hero name in a serious tone quivering in the end, "Ya bunch of morons!! You can tell just by looking that's the quirk that erases other quirks! Eraser Head!!! And the one sniping us down is the number 1 sniper of Japan! Lady Nagant!!!"

What the villain said was true when a mutant type came after Aizawa with four arms and rock arms only to be punched in the eyes immobilizing him.

[Erasure] Shota's Quirk gives him the ability to nullify another person's Quirk by looking at the user as the effects of this Quirk can still last even if Shota's line of vision is out of range although most mutant class quirks are immune to [Erasure]…

*BANG*

But that won't be an issue with Lady Nagant with her [Rifle] Quirk providing long-range support. As the rifle is made up of organic matter and doesn't require explosive (but noisy and flashy) combustion to propel bullets, it is a relatively stealthy weapon as an air rifle, using the propulsion provided by her Quirk's usage of bone and muscle sinew to propel the rounds, leaving behind no audible explosive crack nor muzzle flash from her rifle's barrel.

Both working together meant quite a deadly combination. Tomura sees this while he scratches his head as he says out loud while Kurogiri is nowhere next to him in an annoyed tone, "God, Pro Heroes are such a pain. If we were just any rabble, we wouldn't stand a chance."

As the young generation of heroes admired them, they all headed to escape but…

*Swoosh*

Suddenly Kurogiri arrived to block their path he said to them in a deep voice shocking the class of 1-A and the space hero as he arrived in a blink of an eye in a humble tone, "I'm afraid I can't allow that. Greetings we are the League of Villains. I apologize for the presumption, but we took it upon ourselves to enter U.A. Academy, the base of heroes."

The students were shocked, but No.13 kept herself ready as she readied her quirk Kurogiri continued shocking the students with his information, "To engage with Mr. All Might the symbol of peace. We were wondering if we might be allowed the opportunity to extinguish him, you see. Seeing that All Might is not here something might have happened ah well… this is my role."

But not before a quick movement from Kirishima and Bakugo were already at the ready to attack the villain. Each lunged at him at first managing to land a blow.

*Bam*

*BOOM*

A hardened attack fist from Kirishima and an explosion attack from Bakugo attacked him as Kirishima said to him in a somewhat fearless tone, "Bet you didn't think we'd be able to do you in before you got the chance!"

However, they don't do much in the end as they see that Kurogiri seemingly dealt no damage to them as No.13 says to the students in a worried tone, "It's no use just run! Run you two!"

Kurogiri returns to his mist-like form as he congratulates the students in a mocking tone lunging his mist, "That was quite perilous. To be expected though you may be mere students, you are also the hero world's golden eggs."

*SWOOSH*

Until a large amount of mist began to consume some of the U.A. students from the sudden attack from Kurogiri as he says in a cold tone, "You will be scattered and tortured and slain U.A. golden eggs into pieces – "

*VUMMM*

But before the mist could swallow his classmates, Ren reacted, activating his Quirks in combination. He soon began to produce a repulsion force to protect his classmates as a halo ring shined from Ren's back as he spoke in a serious tone, "You guys seriously got to try a lot harder than that."

Kurogiri's eyes narrowed, seeing their plan not working, separating the students, with Ren mockingly asking, "You think we'll allow you to do as you please? Yeah, right. Not while I'm here, asshole. Because everything is going to be alright!"
