Chapter 74:- Purging Fukuoka 1

"Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one." - Friedrich Nietzsche

Shoji still feared Izuku, as he burned the image of scattered dead bodies around him to make sure he didn't forget it, however, he wasn't that scared, as the thrill of seeing what he had only dreamt of, for like his whole life, was now a reality and he knew he could also make this true as well, and also protect his people, so he was filled with adrenaline and wanted to do more such things.

The adrenaline still coursed through Shoji's veins, a twisted cocktail of fear, exhilaration, and morbid curiosity. He stared at the carnage around him, bodies strewn like discarded dolls, blood painting the police station walls a grotesque crimson. Izuku stood amidst the wreckage, his red eyes glowing unnaturally, his hands still slick with gore.

Shoji swallowed hard, his voice cracking as he asked the question gnawing at at his insides, "W-W-What are you going to do now?"

Izuku turned to him, his crimson gaze piercing through Shoji's very being. "Now," he said with a chilling calm, "we begin."

"Begin what?" Shoji pressed his voice barely above a whisper.

A cruel smile twisted Izuku's lips. "We begin preparing a magnificent view for the city to watch, as the renovation of this city starts,"

"Magnificent view? Renovation? What do you mean?" asked Shoji, confused.

"What I mean is, now we will skewer these noble souls who died for such a noble cause and were blessed enough to die by my hands, for the greater good, now we will put them on for public display along with all the good deeds they have done throughout their life and in their long years of service." Said Izuku with a dangerous glint and crazy smile on his face.

"Good deeds, you don't even know how many bad things they have done in their life, it would be a miracle if these people had done anything good," snorted Shoji as he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Don't talk like you know these guys, for if these guys are saints then I probably am the devil," said Shoji, as if it was an obligation to rectify Izuku's views about these people.

"You guys really don't understand sarcasm, do you? And here I thought you were smarter than others, what a pity!" Exclaimed Izuku, sighing.

"What do you mean?" asked Shoji, totally confused.

"Just use your head and think, if I were to call them noble souls would I have killed them and made a mess out of this police station, and not just these people but all the people I met in my way were slayed by me, if these guys were noble would I have killed them?" Asked Izuku.

"Has all the discrimination affected your head, have you gone senile or what?" continued Izuku.

"_" Shoji was completely silent, as he just realized what Izuku said was sarcasm, he was so much engrossed in revenge and saving his people that he totally had shut down his logical side of the brain, thus he took Izuku's words at face value totally believing what Izuku said.

"I'm sorry, I misunderstood," said Shoji silently.

Izuku just sighed as he moved in an instant and all the blood-stained confidential files that Shoji had in his hands for which he came here, were now in Izuku's hands.

Izuku went through the papers as he threw them papers back at Shoji "Here, take all these papers and stick them on the heads of all the policemen here based on their identification, and make sure the evil deeds they hid in this world-class security base are highlighted, and not left behind, for these souls who died for the greater good need to get proper recognition," said Izuku.

Shoji just nodded.

"Ohh, I forgot to tell you, make sure to stick it on their chests and not their heads," said Izuku.

"Why not heads?" asked Shoji.

"Ohhh, because I want their heads, these are my trophies, my first kills, that's why I'll keep them in a really special place my trophy room, my hall of fame which I have made especially for all the heads of people whom I kill, you know as a mark of remembrance of all the people who were blessed enough to die by my hands."

Listening to this, Shoji was stuck in his place.

"W-W-W-Wait a minute, this was your first time killing someone?" Asked Shoji, totally freaked out.

"Hm~ ohh ya this is my first in the field, and I must admit, it's so much fun, I can't wait to kill more people, fill that special room with heads of people of this city, I wonder how gorgeous they would look in glass cases, held out for display," said Izuku with so much enthusiasm that it looked like Izuku just had an orgasm.

"I-I-If t-t-that's y-y-your first time doing so, t-t-then, h-h-how did you do all that with such precision," asked Shoji, by this time Shoji was practically pissing his pants, unable to form coherent thoughts, words choking in his mouth, unable to say anything without stammering, he had thought this person was just some normal bastard, who wants revenge on the society, but this is way more than that, what Izuku showed was pure madness.

Shoji even questioned himself, 'Should I really rely on him or not?' thought Shoji.

But at the same time strangely enough, Shoji wanted to follow him even more so, as he thought, 'No, I can and I need to rely on him, given how many top level people and pro heroes are involved in it, I need people like him, who have this madness not caring about anything at all, only these kinds of people can do and have what it takes to fulfill what they desire,'

He was thinking all this when he was brought back to reality as he heard Izuku's voice as he said,

"Hm~ because I was trained well," said Izuku then he closed the distance between them as Izuku whispered in Shoji's ear as he said, "So Shoji Kun, make sure to do your work properly okay and don't try to betray me or you will be the first heteromorph that holds a position in my hall of fame chamber's glass box" said Izuku as his fingers roamed around Shoji's neck, as chills ran down Shoji's spine.

Shoji was scared, very very scared as he just nodded repeatedly not wanting to anger Izuku.

"There are 5-6 hours left till dawn, I hope this is enough time for you to do what I said right?" Asked Izuku.

"You won't help me?" asked Shoji.

"Hmm~ of course not," said Izuku.

"Why? I can't do this alone" asked Shoji looking around him at the pile of dead bodies.

"Yes you can, and this is to make you strong, there is more gore on the way, so steel yourself, if you are going to be with me, then you'll need to be able to do at least this much for there will be more dead bodies than the humans walking in this city.

If you want this city to become a haven for heteromorphs, a place where they are respected, not criticized, and also shred the fabric of their oppressive society and rebuild it in your image, then you just need to have what it takes to realize this dream.

If you want to protect your people, then you need to dirty your hands, and be ready to do anything to make sure you get what you want, and as far as why I won't help you is because I have other important things to do, you know committing a perfect crime," said Izuku.

"I'll be back in a flash, make sure to finish the job I told you to," said Izuku as he just teleported away from there.

Shoji just did what Izuku told him to do, that is first he sorted out the papers according to dead bodies, and stuck the papers according to their names on their chests.

Once he did that, then he decided to do what Izuku asked him to do as he wondered what might have happened to Izuku to have such a personality and such destructive tendencies.

Shoji couldn't help but wonder what kind of monster he had partnered with. A monster who could unleash unimaginable power, but who also seemed to relish the chaos and destruction.

When he was beheading the police officers, Shoji noticed something strange. Some of the officers, although dead, had their faces contorted in expressions of pure terror. Their eyes were wide with fear, their lips twisted in silent screams. It was as if they had witnessed something unimaginable that had driven them to the brink of madness.

Shoji shivered, a cold dread creeping down his spine. He knew Izuku was powerful, but the sheer intensity of fear etched onto these faces was unsettling. It was a reminder of the darkness that lurked within him, a darkness that could consume everything in its path.

He pushed the unsettling thoughts away, focusing instead on the task at hand. He had chosen his path, and there was no turning back. He would help Izuku build his army, fight for his revolution, and reclaim his city for the heteromorphs.

But deep down, he knew that this path was a double-edged sword. It was a path that could lead to liberation, but also to unimaginable destruction. He was walking a tightrope, balancing between hope and fear, and only time would tell which side would ultimately prevail.

And once he was done with the work, it was already dawn, and Izuku was also back long ago, watching in silence, how Shoji performed with a smile.

When done Shoji just sat down on the ground exhausted, dripping in sweat and blood as he said, "All Done,"
