Gao Guang didn't know where he was, he only knew he had been put in a police car and then taken to a completely unfamiliar place.
"At most I'm just a witness, I shouldn't be considered a suspect," Gao Guang thought to himself. He was conducting legitimate business, meeting a client in his own company. Even if there was an issue with this client, it shouldn't have involved him.
He was arrested for no apparent reason, not allowed to make a phone call, and was brought into a room resembling an interrogation chamber. They didn't handcuff him or secure him to the chair, which seemed like he was receiving some sort of preferential treatment.
A man in a suit walked into the room and directly addressed the seated Gao Guang, "What's your relationship with Abu, and why did he meet you tonight? What did you two discuss?"
Gao Guang took a breath and said, "I request to call my lawyer. I won't say anything until my lawyer arrives."
