CHAPTER 35: THE HECK

"But can I ask you something Lushan" Feilan asked as she gazed up at him.

He really was over towering her.

Lushan nodded.

"Are you from Japan....you're name isn't native...is it"

Lushan glanced at her before saying "I'm half Japanese and half Chinese....but don't worry...I won't send you on the battle field without atleast telling you important things about me

"I know my parents will definitely ask so tomorrow you'll know my details from Yukitsa"

Feilan nodded and she watched as Lushan walked to the hotel telephone and rang it.

The receiver answered and greeted respectfully "Good evening valued guest"

"Hmm..." was Lushan's calm but neutral response. "Have the dinner I ordered sent to the suite" Lushan said before ending the call and glancing at the innocent looking Shao Feilan.

This naive little flower was now a part of his plans and he was gonna make sure his plans run smoothly.

Lushan walked towards the lounge where a neat stack of files sat beside his laptop on the low glass table. Lushan sat down elegantly and before Feilan could understand Lushan had already entered a state of seriousness Feilan was witnessing for the first time.

The man picked up a pair of cool black and gold framed spects that accentuated his perfect nose and sharp eyes. He elegantly slid the spects on.

Feilan was stunned as she stared in a daze uncontrollably. She was practically one step away from drooling.

It's like the shameless man who had asked for an absurd request the day before had completely disappeared and was now replaced with a man with a kingly aura that couldn't be challenged.

Feilan swore she had never seen spects make someone look so damn handsome and attractive.

He sat with his one leg elegantly folded over the other as he read through a file and Feilan felt an intimidating presence emitting from him.

This man suddenly seemed like he was some unrivalled power and yet all he was doing was simply reading through some files.

"Lushan..." Feilan didn't even realise when she called out his name.

He raised his gaze to meet hers and when his eyes locked with hers Feilan felt her heart race.

'What's wrong with you Feilan' Feilan mentally chastised herself as she tried to control her obvious physical attraction for this god like man.

Lushan looked at her patiently.

"Uhh...it's nothing...sorry for bothering you" Feilan said and she quickly turned around and turned her focus to something else to hide her embarrassment and blush.

Lushan smirked lightly before turning his attention back to what he was doing but he first said "Supper will be up in a minute...is there something you'd like to have specifically"

Feilan shook her head and walked towards the floor to ceiling glass walls that faced the bustling city of Tokyo.

She gazed at the bright night city of Tokyo in awe.

It was so beautiful up here. Lushan couldn't help but glance at Feilan. He studied her secretly. She was undoubtedly beautiful.

And he had seen many beautiful women but all of those women lacked personality and were pretty much fake two faced pretenders.

He hated such women but this little flower was different....he just couldn't see that pretence that he saw in other women.

She was like a breathe of fresh unchartered air that was new to the kind of world he was from. For a second he didn't know which impulse he had but he felt a strange sense of guilt 'Should he really involve this naive looking woman in his business....'

Lushan shook his head and said to Feilan "When dinner's brought up feel free to eat without me"

Feilan nodded obediently as she curiously moved around.

Soon three neatly dressed people came in pushing trolleys with food since the aromatic aromas were already making their presence known in every inch of the presidential suite.

There were two men and one lady. The older man was a famous international chef even Feilan knew and the young man and lady following him were his apprentices.

Feilan glanced at them in curiosity but ofcourse they couldn't glance back at her as they pleased as per work ethics...not even the old international chef.

He knew that the person in the presidential suite this time around was no one easy but he didn't understand why he saw a familiar public face like Shao Feilan here but he kept his curiosity to himself as he and his apprentices set the dining.

Anyway they couldn't say a word about anything they saw here as per hotel confidentiality cause the repercussions were dire.

But they could feel the presence of a king in the room and his presence alone made the chef and his apprentices sharp and careful.

They didn't know whom this man was but they had heard rumours that Yukitsa Feng had to personally make preparations for this man to stay at the hotel and enjoy outmost comfort.

Surely a man who could make Yukitsa Feng ran errands personally had to be powerful and being here in the very presence of this mysterious big shot made the chef's crew quite excited and nervous at the same time.

They had prepared today's course with outmost care knowing that even the slightest chance of getting into a power house's good books was worth it....even if it was through his stomach.

Anyway....who told English novelist Fanny Fern to say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.1

The female apprentice couldn't resist the curiosity to steal a glance at Lushan and if her fellow apprentice didn't nudge her she would have stared till her eyes popped out.

But the girl's face was already a deeper shade of pink....whether it was embarrassment or being infatuated...the girl was spellbound by the handsome Lushan.

Feilan studied everything with amusement and she wondered whether Lushan could feel the girl's obvious fascination.

She could relate with girl...Lushan was really handsome.

Feilan wondered how she was moving on so fast.

One of the reasons she had agreed to be Lushan's girlfriend was because she wanted a moment to run away from reality and just act recklessly and on impulse.

She gazed at Lushan and as if he could feel her eyes on him....he raised his head and looked at her.

"You're not eating little flower" Lushan said calmly but Feilan's face quickly flushed. She wanted to refute the nickname but she quickly realised they were with others in the room.

As per the contract Lushan was free to call her any intimate name he wanted and she had to play along.

Feilan nodded and shyly said "Am going to eat...don't worry Lushan baby"

Feilan's face was glowing and Lushan's lips curled in a pleased smirk.

Those present almost coughed blood but they tried not to show reaction but those words that they had just heard.

Was this capable looking man already taken...and shocking of all was that he might just be taken by Shao Feilan.

Was Feilan really so good at hiding her personal life...this was shocking.

Little flower...Lushan baby...the heck.
